Atrial fibrillation (AF) is the most common supraventricular tachyarrhythmia and is characterized clinically by irregular palpitations, dizziness, presyncope and syncope, effort intolerance, an apical-radial pulse deficit, and heart failure. The diagnosis is confirmed by an electrocardiogram showing an irregularly irregular ventricular rhythm, absent P waves, and the presence of fibrillatory waves. In Sub-Saharan Africa, the prevalence of AF is about 4.3% and 0.7% in individuals aged ≥40 years and aged ≥70 years, respectively, while the main risk factors for AF are hypertension, cardiomyopathy, and rheumatic heart disease. Rate control using beta blockers, the use of antiarrhythmics, anticoagulation using warfarin or direct oral anticoagulants to prevent stroke, cardiovascular risk factor reduction, and radiofrequency catheter ablation in select patients are the main objectives in the management of AF as per the current guidelines by the European Society of Cardiology (ESC), the American Heart Association (AHA), the American College of Cardiology (ACC), etc. This case report highlights the challenges of managing AF in congestive heart failure (CHF) in a rural Kenyan hospital in which the patient had hemorrhagic complications from warfarin toxicity followed by stroke after warfarin withdrawal and the therapeutic effects of adding digoxin to achieve better rate control and improve the CHF morbidity.

The local application-oriented undergraduate colleges in Zhejiang Province echo the construction of new liberal arts in the practice of "integration of art and industry" and "integration of production and education" in clothing design education. This article focuses on the exploration and practice of the new liberal arts model of clothing design education, shifting from "subject-oriented" to "demand-oriented," aiming to adapt to the development of the times and serve the transformation and upgrading of regional industrial economy. It explores the theoretical logic and practical orientation of the new liberal arts in clothing design education under the driving force of science and technology and value guidance.Based on the development of clothing industry in Haining City, Jiaxing City and the current situation of application-oriented undergraduate colleges in clothing design education, the study focuses on the integration of disciplines and the collaborative education mechanism of production and education from the perspectives of "locality" and "application-oriented". Integrating the advantages of local clothing industry and cultural characteristics into teaching projects to activate the regional radiation role of local colleges. By carrying out the integration education of "new liberal arts" under the principle of "upholding the tradition and innovating", a cultural ecology for ensuring the quality of clothing design talent cultivation is created.

The paper explores the dynamic relationship between the United States and Vietnam since the establishment of bilateral relations in 1995 until its milestone in 2023: comprehensive strategic partnership. Grounded in mutual respect and cooperation, their partnership has flourished across economic, political, security, and social spheres. Economically, the two countries have become each other's top trading partners, with bilateral trade turnover reaching $124 billion USD in 2023, a significant increase from $450 million USD in 1995. The United States has emerged as Vietnam's second-largest trading partner, underscoring the depth of economic integration. Additionally, the United States ranks 11th in terms of foreign direct investment (FDI) in Vietnam (2022), reflecting growing economic ties. Beyond economics, cooperation extends to political and diplomatic relations, defense and security, science and technology, education and training, environment and health, and humanitarian assistance/disaster relief. Vietnam, as a developing country in the globalization process, seeks diversified and substantive relationships for efficient and harmonized development.

This study was conducted to explore the potential of blockchain technology in sustainable economic development in Vietnam. Using qualitative research methods, based on the study of relevant literature, the study highlights the various applications of blockchain in areas such as supply chain management, inclusive finance, energy management and asset rights. The study also emphasizes the importance of addressing challenges for successful adoption of blockchain technology. It identifies the need for a supportive regulatory framework that clarifies legal and regulatory aspects related to blockchain, ensuring its legality and promoting innovation. Furthermore, the study highlights the importance of investing in the necessary technical infrastructure and ensuring interoperability among different blockchain platforms. Skill development is also crucial, as there is a need for a qualified workforce capable of developing and implementing blockchain solutions. By leveraging blockchain technology and addressing these challenges, Vietnam can achieve sustainable economic development. The study concludes that embracing blockchain technology can position Vietnam as a leader in the 4.0 industrial revolution, fostering innovation, transparency, and efficiency across sectors and contributing to the country's overall economic growth and development.

The development of information and communication technology has contributed to the increase in the creation and dissemination of pornography which has had a negative influence on the morals and noble personality of the Indonesian people. In relation to the era of globalization, the existence of a corporation has a big contribution to the interests of the country and its citizens. The existence of corporations is often accompanied by violations, including violations of criminal law, one of which is the case of the pornographic film industry and trade. The authors examine the criteria for criminal acts of pornography which are classified as corporate crimes and how sanctions are applied for criminal acts of pornography as a corporate crime. This research uses normative-empirical juridical methods and analytical descriptive research specifications. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the criteria for criminal acts of pornography which are classified as corporate crimes are non-violent, corrosive effect, and have a very detrimental impact on society at large. The industry and trade in pornographic films is a form of criminal corporation/organization, and there has never been a court decision regarding sanctions for corporate criminal acts applied to cases of criminal acts of pornography. Efforts that can be made to overcome this problem are to harmonize the definition of a corporation, create clear criteria for corporations as subjects of criminal law, need to hold Focus Group Discussions (FGD) among academics and law enforcement officials, and apply sanctions against perpetrators of criminal acts of pornography which are classified as corporate crimes.

Green marketing is a method of using the environmental advantages of a product or service to boost sales. Many buyers would prefer goods that do not affect the environment rather than less eco-friendly products, even though they cost more. Marketers rely on the sustainability advantages of advertising items such as recyclable diapers, energy-efficient light bulbs, and eco-friendly detergents for green marketing. Business and the climate are also interrelated issues in today’s business world. Marketing plays an essential role in solving this environmental business world problem. Nearly every government in the world worries about ecological or renewable goods and marketing issues. The paper discusses the opportunities and obstacles of green marketing in Bangladesh. The article also explains why businesses embrace it and concludes that green marketing will continue expanding in nature and demand.
