Analysis of Senior High School Students' Problem Solving Ability on Three Variables Linear Equation System 高中生解决三变量线性方程组问题的能力分析

This study aims to analyze students' mathematical problem solving ability on the material of the Three Variable Linear Equation System (SPLTV) in terms of students' initial mathematical abilities. This research was conducted using a qualitative descriptive method, the subjects of this research were 20 students of class X SMA Negeri 1 Cililin who had studied SPLTV material. The data collection technique in this study was to give a written test in the form of a description with a total of four problem solving indicator questions. Before starting the research, the questions were validated first. Based on the results of the study, the percentage of mathematical problem solving ability on the material of the system of linear equations of three variables is 52.23% which is classified in the moderate category. The indicator of understanding the problem is 71.67%, the indicator of planning problem solving is 51.25%, the indicator of solving the problem according to the plan is 48%, and the indicator of making a mathematical model of the problem, solving and re-examining the answer is 38%. The mathematical initial ability of upper group students obtained an average score of 83.3% classified in the high category, the middle group obtained an average score of 74.58% in the high category, and the lower group obtained an average score of 77% which fell into the high category. So it can be concluded that the initial mathematical ability of students is in the high category for mathematical problem solving ability.
本研究旨在从学生的初始数学能力出发,分析学生在三变量线性方程组(SPLTV)教材上的数学解题能力。本研究采用定性描述法,研究对象是 20 名学习过 SPLTV 教材的 SMA Negeri 1 Cililin 高中 X 班学生。本研究的数据收集技术是以描述的形式进行书面测试,共有四道解题指标题。在开始研究之前,首先对问题进行了验证。根据研究结果,三变量线性方程组材料的数学解题能力占 52.23%,属于中等水平。理解问题的指标为 71.67%,计划解决问题的指标为 51.25%,按计划解决问题的指标为 48%,建立问题的数学模型、解决问题并重新研究答案的指标为 38%。高年级组学生的数学初步能力平均分为 83.3%,属于高分段;中年级组学生的数学初步能力平均分为 74.58%,属于高分段;低年级组学生的数学初步能力平均分为 77%,属于高分段。因此,可以得出结论,学生的初始数学能力属于数学解题能力的高分段。

The Development of Problem-Based Learning Liveworksheets to Improve Mathematical Communication Skills on Junior High School Students 开发基于问题学习的实时工作表,提高初中生的数学交流能力

Communication skill is an ability that needs to be possessed by students. Through communication, students can express their opinions or ideas to their friends or to the teacher. The facts in the field show that students' mathematical communication skills are in the low category, therefore a solution is needed to improve students' mathematical communication skills. This research aims to produce problem-based learning-based LKPD assisted by liveworksheets to hone students' mathematical communication skills. This research was conducted at SMPN 1 Ngamprah. The subjects of this study amounted to 10 students on a limited trial. 34 students for a broad trial. The method used is development research according to Sugiyono which is modified into 7 stages carried out due to time constraints, namely: potential and problems, data collection, product design, design validation, design revision, product trial, and product revision. Data collection tools for this study are validation sheets, student response questionnaires, and 5 questions about mathematical communication skills in statistics material. Based on the results of value processing from validators, it shows that the developed LKPD is said to be suitable for use in learning, with an average percentage of assessment from validators of 85%. The results of the calculation of student answers show that the developed LKPD is effective for improving mathematical communication skills, with an average calculation of each indicator of 72.35%.  It can be concluded that problem-based learning-based LKPD assisted by liveworksheets can be used in learning as an effort to improve students' mathematical abilities in statistics material.

The Effectiveness of Live Worksheets-Assisted Problem Based Learning to Improve Students’ Mathematical Problem Solving Abilities 现场作业单辅助问题式学习对提高学生数学解题能力的有效性

This research was motivated by the low mathematical problem solving ability of students based on the results of field observations and the results of previous research. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of LKPD assisted by live worksheets with a problem-based learning approach to the mathematical problem solving ability of grade VIII students. The method used in this study is an experimental method with One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design by Sugiyono. The subjects in this study were 30 grade VIII students at MTs Al-Firdaus with low, medium to high categories. The research instrument used in this study was in the form of five description questions adjusted to indicators of problem-solving ability which were then calculated using the SPSS application. Based on the calculation of the comparison of pre-test and post-test values, it is found that the post-test value is greater than the pre-test value. In the pre-test students still have some errors in working on the problems given, while during the post-test few students make mistakes in solving problems. Based on the research conducted, it can be concluded that LKPD assisted by live worksheets with a problem-based learning approach is effective in improving the mathematical problem solving ability of grade VIII students, especially on the Pythagorean theorem material.

Analysis of Mathematical Critical Thinking Skills using Problem-Based Learning Models in Junior High School Students 利用基于问题的学习模式分析初中生的数学批判性思维能力

The ability to think critically is currently one of the abilities that students need to have because with the ability to think critically in students can improve the quality of education in Indonesia, with this statement this research was conducted with the aim of describing the critical thinking skills of junior high school students using a problem-based learning model on quadratic equation material. This type of research is in the form of descriptive research with qualitative methods. This research was located at SMPN 3 Cimahi with 9 subjects who had high, medium and low abilities in critical thinking covering 3 classes. The data collection technique was carried out by providing 4 description questions and interviews to the subjects. Data analysis techniques in research refer to qualitative data analysis according to Miles and Huberman. The results of the study were measured based on indicators of critical thinking skills according to Facion (2015) where, 67% of students were able to interpret, 58% of students were able to analyze, 72% of students were able to evaluate, and 69% of students were able to infer so that it could be concluded that there was a significant influence of the problem-based learning model on critical thinking skills.

The Effect of Problem Based Learning Model on Junior High School Students' Problem Solving Ability 基于问题的学习模式对初中生解决问题能力的影响

Students have difficultly solving problem in question such as when solving word problrms, asking questions, making steps to solve, and solving problems given. Problem solving skills are a very important part of mathematics curriculum. So the researchers conducted a study that aimed to determine the effect of problem based learning models on problem solving abilities in class VII set material. The development model used is an experimental research type using a quantitative approach. The research data was obtained trough test instruments or scores from the problem solving instrument on set material. Data analysis of problem solving abilities was carried out using the t-test. The subjects of this study were 78 students. The sample was taken by simple random sampling, selected class VII D with a total 10 students as the experimental classs and 10 from class VII E as the control class. The results of this study indicate thet the problem based learning model has an effect on problem solving abilities. This can be seen based on the results of working on essay test question based on students problem solving abilities which get a tcount of 2.5776 while the ttable value is 2.0378. This means that the value of tcount is greater than t table, so in this case it means that H1 is accepted, meaning that there are differences in mathematical problem solving abilities between the experimental class and the control class. This shows that the problem based learning model has an influence on problem solving abilities.

Analysis of Vocational School Student’s Mathematical Reasoning in Quadratic Equation 职业学校学生的一元二次方程数学推理分析

Essay test questions in mathematics learning at Vocational High Schools show that most students have difficulty answering questions about quadratic equations, this is the basis of the research. The reason this problem can occur is because students are not careful in interpreting questions so students cannot master inductive indicators. The purpose of this study is to find out more about students' mistakes when answering questions about mathematics through analysis and description of some of the students' mistakes in answering questions about quadratic equations, therefore this study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The research subjects were students of class XI Software Engineering at a Vocational High School in Kabupaten Bandung Barat with a total of 15 students. The stages in this research are planning, implementation, and reporting. Student test results as many as three questions are used to collect data. The analysis technique used is data reduction, by presenting the data then conclusions are drawn. The results and discussion of this study showed that students made mistakes in answering quadratic equation questions. The accuracy of students towards questions number 1 and number 3 is still low, so it is necessary to do regular exercises. Students' mathematical reasoning abilities need to be honed again. It can be seen from the results of the answers to question 2 that students have not been able to interpret the questions so that inductive indicators on students' mathematical reasoning abilities have not been fulfilled.

The reason this problem can occur is because students are not careful in interpreting questions so students cannot master inductive indicators. The purpose of this study is to find out more about students' mistakes when answering questions about mathematics through analysis and description of some of the students' mistakes in answering questions about quadratic equations, therefore this study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The research subjects were students of class XI Software Engineering at a Vocational High School in Kabupaten Bandung Barat with a total of 15 students. The stages in this research are planning, implementation, and reporting. Student test results as many as three questions are used to collect data. The analysis technique used is data reduction, by presenting the data then conclusions are drawn. The results and discussion of this study showed that students made mistakes in answering quadratic equation questions. The accuracy of students towards questions number 1 and number 3 is still low, so it is necessary to do regular exercises. Students' mathematical reasoning abilities need to be honed again. Based on research at the school that schools still use conventional learning, so students are less involved or less interactive, therefore this study aims to find out whether the development of teaching materials in the form of worksheets on flat-sided geometrical material using a scientific approach assisted by the Canva application is feasible and makes students be interactive while knowing the feasibility of the teaching materials being developed, knowing the effectiveness of the teaching materials being developed and knowing the constraints faced by researchers during the development of teaching materials. The development research model used is the 4D development model. The research location chosen was Darul Falah Middle School with random selection of subjects. The research instruments used were validation sheets, student response sheets and five critical thinking skills test instruments. The results of the development of the teaching materials themselves, namely during the limited trials the validation results reached 80% with a proper interpretation and the practical results of the teaching materials were 84% with very practical interpretations, in the extensive trials the validation results reached 93% with very feasible interpretations and the results of the practicality of the materials teaching 86% with very practical interpretation. The results of this study indicate that the process of developing teaching materials is carried out well.

This study aims to define the process of developing educational materials in the form of workbooks for students across the entire document using a Canva-supported problem-based learning approach to determine the feasibility of educational materials developed, determine the effectiveness of the educational materials developed, and identify limitations. encountered by researchers during development. instructional materials, collect data on teaching materials, learning objectives to be achieved, and media used by students to date. The study also asked for information on whether school facilities support the learning process. The type of research used is research and development (R&D) with a 4D development model (Define, Design, Develop, Dissemination). The selected study site was MT Nurul Hidayah Batujajar. Due to the evolution of the educational material, especially in limited testing, the correct result is 89% with the most likely interprnal material is 83% with the interpretations very realistic and in extensive testing the confirmatory result is 91% with most likely interpretations, the actual result of the teaching material 86% with very realistic interpretations. The results of this study show that the process of developing teaching aids is well conducted. This study can be used as a reference for further studies as this study meets the very feasibility criteria.

Mathematical communication ability and learning independence is one of the things that students must have and master in order to achieve competency in learning, especially in learning mathematics. This research has the aim of improving mathematical communication skills and learning independence of class X students of Al-IHSAN Batujajar Vocational School through the development of mathematics teaching materials on sequences and series material using a problem solving approach assisted by the Canva video application. The research method used is the research and development (RnD) Plomp model. The instruments used are teaching material validation tests, mathematical communication skills tests and non-learning independence tests. The validation instruments were given to ICT experts and material experts. As for the ability and independence tests given to class X students of SMK Al-IHSAN. From the results of the study it was found that the teaching materials developed showed very valid results based on the results of ICT expert and material expert assessment and based on the results of student assessments it was found that the teaching materials were very feasible to use and received very practical criteria. In addition, the application of the problem solving approach in learning can improve students' mathematical communication skills and also student learning independence in terms of the results of post-test data analysis.

This study aims to measure the level of validity, practicality and effectiveness of Problem Based Learning social arithmetic teaching materials assisted by Liveworksheets. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) method of Sugiyono's development model which consists of 10 stages which are limited to step 7, namely: potential and problems, data collection, product design, design validation, design revision, product trial, and product revision. The research subjects were: a VII grade math teacher, 10 VIII grade students, and 30 VII grade students. Instruments in this study include: interview sheets, validation sheets, student response questionnaires, and mathematical communication skills tests. Data processing techniques in the form of quantitative data analysis include validity analysis, practicality analysis, and effectiveness analysis of test results. The results of this study that LKPD teaching materials have met the eligibility criteria. This is because based on the results of the validation of experts who get a score of 80% which is considered valid. In the limited product trial, a score of 81% was obtained in the very practical category. As well as extensive product trials obtained a score of 85% with a very practical category. Then during the effectiveness test, it got a score of 80% with the effective category. Thus teaching materials in the form of learner worksheet are suitable for use in the learning process.
