The IntegraVasf Social Project is relevant in promoting oral health in the São Francisco River Valley, highlighting the health area. This analysis is based on a study focused on dentistry. The social actions carried out totaled 160 patient anamnesis records between 2020 and 2023 in Juazeiro- BA and Petrolina- PE. The research reveals the prevalence of young patients, but with a significant number of children and elderly people, from whom data was collected on treatments carried out, treatments that need to be carried out and referrals for emergency cases. In view of this, the importance that integravasf plays in reducing factors that affect oral health in society, especially in vulnerable communities, is clear. The focus on promoting adequate oral health for the population that faces obstacles in accessing this sector due to socioeconomic problems. The role of integravasf is fundamental in the propagation, prevention and recovery of oral cavity health, making it accessible to everyone. This study contributes to understanding the oral health situation in the communities served, reinforcing the importance that the IntegraVasf project plays.

The USF were a milestone of New Public Management (NGP) for their contribution to improving the economy and the quality of care. It is based on decentralized management, but includes coordination with the doctor identified in the application, losing the role of nurse manager close to the nursing team. This quantitative descriptive-exploratory study aimed to identify the advantages perceived by nurses regarding the advantages of a nurse manager in the USF. The nurses’ perception noted the need for a nurse manager in the USF with skills in the area of management, for service planning, conflict management, a leader who promotes team unity, professional development and class visualization.

Pharmaceutical Assistance has evolved over time and requires a reorganization of management practices. Considering professional experience and working in this area in the State, it was found that the Pharmaceutical Assistance that has been developed in Alagoas has presented some difficulties. Considering that a National Pharmaceutical Assistance Management System was adopted at national level as a management tool, the question arises: “What are the main difficulties encountered in the effective implementation and use of the National Pharmaceutical Assistance Management System as a management tool? control of financial resources invested in the medication acquisition and distribution processes? ” To answer the initial question, the following objective was defined: to evaluate the impacts of the implementation of the National Pharmaceutical Assistance Management System in the State of Alagoas as a Management Tool. In order to achieve the goal, it was decided to develop qualitative and quantitative research as a methodology. Taking into account the results obtained after the research carried out with 90 pharmaceutical professionals working in the health districts of the State of Alagoas, it was possible to verify that the implementation of the HÓRUS system in the State has contributed to the adequate management of the pharmaceutical system, especially in which refers to a better distribution of financial resources for the acquisition of medicines, serving a greater number of people. However, some problems for the adequate implementation of the system were pointed out by the pharmaceutical professionals interviewed, among these, the fact that the system does not have a tab with manual or instructions – to resolve situations that occur routinely – and a shortage of human resources.

Laryngeal papillomatosis or Recurrent Respiratory Papillomatosis (PRR) is the main cause of benign laryngeal neoplasia characterized by the proliferation of epithelial lesions with the presence of warts, called papillomas. These are often multiple and recurrent, being caused by The Human Papilloma Virus (HPV). Currently, there are no surgical or curative medical treatments for the disease. The literature indicates several options, including the quadrivalent HPV vaccine. In this sense, this study sought to report a clinical case of a child with recurrent respiratory papillomatosis, with emphasis on the quadrivalent HPV vaccine used as adjuvant therapy. In this case study, it was evidenced that immunization can be used as adjuvant therapy.

The present study aimed to know the experiences, meanings and perceptions of patients with leprosy. This is a descriptive study, exploratory qualitative approach. The study was a polyclinic, located in minas gerais, reference in the treatment of leprosy. The data were produced through individual interviews with a screenwriter, semi-structured data analysis made it possible to identify four thematic categories: perceptions about the knowledge about leprosy; the discovery of leprosy; living with leprosy and live with leprosy in society. Identified that the perception of patients about the meaning and knowledge about leprosy is superficial and limited, however, the knowledge deficit did not interfere in the belief of the treatment and cure of disease resolutivo. One can understand that late diagnosis is still present in the discovery of leprosy and psychological issues, emotional, physical and social feature direct impact in the lives of patients.

Aging being a paradigm for aesthetic medicine nowadays, and with the concern to block or delay the aged appearance among people, with the increase in life expectancy and care, the progression of skin aging is considered a process irreversible, progressive and dynamic. However, it can be delayed with aesthetic and daily care such as the use of home care and adequate food. The poor diet performed due to stressful and agitated routines causes an influence on the acceleration of the skin aging process. It is taken into account that the consumption of foods rich in carbohydrates and fats provides the glycation process in a non-enzymatic way. The glycation process occurs between glucose and proteins, triggering end products such as advanced glycation (AGEs). Proteins with a half-life similar to that of collagen, are more susceptible to this process. In short, it is possible to verify that, according to the progress of the skin aging process, people seek to block or delay this physiological process even more, looking for aesthetic alternatives such as microneedling and food reeducation with diets low in carbohydrates and fat.

Population aging is a global phenomenon that highlights the need for strategies to promote health and well-being for the elderly. Functional training emerges as a promising approach to improving health and quality of life in this age group, focusing on natural and functional movements. Older adults often face challenges related to loss of physical functionality, mobility problems and increased risk of falls. Functional training offers a holistic approach that can address these issues, promoting improvements in the physical, mental and social health of older people. Elderly people often face functional limitations, a decline in quality of life, and a greater propensity for age-related health conditions. The lack of exercise programs adapted to the needs of this population contributes to these problems, underestimating the importance of specific interventions for older adults. This study’s main objective is to investigate the effects of functional training in old age, evaluating its impact on improving physical functionality, reducing the risk of falls, mental well-being and the general quality of life of the elderly. Functional training is expected to promote significant improvements in muscular strength, balance, coordination and mobility in elderly participants. Furthermore, a reduction in the number of falls, improved mental well-being and increased autonomy and independence to carry out daily activities are expected.

This review describes how nutritional assessment and anamnesis questionnaires can be helped by information from research that addresses transgenerational epigenetic effects and life history theory (LHT) in the prevention and treatments of chronic non-communicable diseases (NCDs). The connection between these fields of biological studies allows for better preventive clarification of individual needs through interaction: environment, epigenetics, life strategy pathways and their impacts on the organism’s functions, such as growth, maintenance, reproduction and immunological defense, associated with risks that predispose to chronic diseases.

Objective: to know the feelings of women diagnosed with breast cancer. Materials and Methods: The theme was addressed through an integrative literature review, an instrument of Evidence-Based Practice (EBE). A survey was carried out in the BDENF, LILACS and SciELO databases from August to September 2023. The following descriptors were used: Feelings. Breast cancer. Diagnosis, they were combined for search. Publications in the study were published Portuguese that made the abstract available in their databases. Results: We started from the systematization of categories of analysis that represent the axis around which the product of the dynamics performed is articulated, namely: Feelings experienced by women in the face of breast cancer and Family support for women with breast cancer. Final Considerations: Feelings arising from breast cancer diagnosis translate into fear, anxiety, uncertainty, hopelessness and anger.
