Livestock production plays a vital role in ensuring food security, economic stability, and social wellbeing in many communities worldwide. However, traditional livestock practices often face numerous challenges, such as unsustainable resource management, conflict arising from resource scarcity, limited access to information and support systems. This paper explores the potential of digital technology as a panacea for sustainable livestock reforms and conflict resolution in our community. Digital technology offers transformation opportunities to address these challenges and promote sustainable livestock practices. The intergration of digital tools, precision agriculture, data analytics, internets of things (10T), and artificial intelligence, enables the collection and analysis of real-time data on animal health, nutrition, and environmental conditions. These advancements facilitate evidence-based decision-making, optimize resource allocation, and enhance productivity while reducing environmental impact. Furthermore, digital platforms and mobile application provide accessible and user-friendly interfaces for livestock farmers, extension workers and community members. Moreover digital technology can contribute to conflict resolution within the livestock sector. By enabling transparent and traceable supply chains. Block chain technology helps prevent fraud, reduce theft, ensures fair market transactions, enhance security and mitigate conflicts related to land use, grazing area and resource allocation. However the successful implementation of digital technology for sustainable livestock reforms and conflict resolution will ensure equitable access to digital infrastructure, addressing the digital divide, fostering digital literacy, and considering the specific needs and contexts of different communities. In conclusion, digital technology holds immense potential as a panacea for sustainable livestock reforms and conflict resolution in our community. Embracing digital tools and fostering digital inclusion will pave the way for a resilient and thriving livestock industry that contributes to sustainable development and community well-being.

This paper discussed the importance of improving craft work production through promoting creativity in entrepreneurship. The problems facing the country which include high rate of poverty; youth and graduate unemployment; and low economic growth among others can be reduced if craftwork production through promoting creativity in entrepreneurship is improved and encouraged. This paper therefore argues that equipping individuals and the nation at large with improved craftwork skills will make them self-reliant and employers of labour. This will go a long way in helping the country achieve the first sustainable development goal of poverty reduction. The different approaches for promoting creativity in the craft world market were discussed. Various ways craft world market can grow to encourage craft work production was therefore recommended among others.

The study surveyed resource management practices of women civil servants of universities (WCSU) in the digital era which necessitate sustainable family serenity and enhanced national development using women workers of universities in Anambra state of Nigeria as pivots. Its specific objectives were to determine procedures they adopted in their resource management practices in the digital era; ascertain problems they encountered using digital components and, establish strategies they exerted to solve such problems with digital devices as indices. The researchers used questionnaire to collect data and adopted survey design with descriptive statistics, mean and standard deviation for data analysis. Population of the study was 2,150women civil servants of the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, and the Anambra State University, Uli and Igbariam campuses from where sample of 320 was derived and distributed unequally to158, 93 and 69 respondents of the institutions respectively. A mean ratio of 3.50 based on five point Likert scale was accepted. Findings revealed procedures adopted by the WCSU in their resource management practices in the digital era, problems they encountered with digital devices in the contemporary period and how they solved such problems with digital components. It was recommended, among others, that WCSU and other stakeholders should be enlightened onuses and applications of digital devices for planning, organizing, implementing or shopping and evaluating their family resource management practices through seminars and conferences using the media; federal and state governments, in alliance with producers and other stakeholders, should create more awareness on availability, uses and applications of digital devices through workshops and advertisements; promulgate laws, policies and other logistics that would necessitate deflation as these could fight wraths caused by expensive digital components, eschew chaos in homes, encourage sustainable family serenity and enhanced national development.

Middle-age is in-between adulthood and old age and lifestyle adopted is one of the major factors that contribute to how slow or fast the progression occurs. The study elicited information on knowledge of antioxidant rich foods and the way middle aged adults in Igbo Etiti Local Government Area of Enugu State consume them. The cross-sectional study involved 399 adults whose information on personal and socio-economic status, knowledge of antioxidant-rich foods and their consumption patterns were obtained. Descriptive statistics was used to analyze data on personal and socio-economic status, knowledge and consumption patterns of antioxidant rich foods while association between knowledge of antioxidant rich foods and consumption was tested with chi-square. Knowledge of antioxidant rich foods, 86% were not aware that vitamins, minerals and other compounds exist as antioxidants. Similarly, 96% could not identify dietary sources of antioxidants, 78.7% and 81.7% were not aware that vitamin C helps reduce effect of oxidative damage and vitamin E helps delay ageing, respectively. Overall, knowledge grade revealed that 59.9% and 40.1% had poor and good knowledge, respectively. Fruit and vegetable intakes showed that 28.1% and 11.3% took them twice daily while 23.3% ate grains, legumes and nuts twice daily. For the three food groups, 7.3% and 2.3% never consumed them. There were positive associations between knowledge of antioxidant rich foods and consumption from various sources by the adults. This shows that good knowledge of dietary sources of antioxidant improves intakes while reverse could be true when knowledge is poor.

The impact of the current global pandemic on family economy in Nigeria cannot be overemphasized. In a few months of Covid-19 pandemic, millions of people were hit by the deadly virus which claimed a lot of lives worldwide, including Nigeria. The Federal Government also declared total lockdown of outdoor economic activities, ceremonies, institutions, religious activities, and stay-at-home order to prevent the spread of the deadly virus in the country. The declaration made life very difficult for the masses with families inclusive. The onset of the lockdown that affected all individuals put set-back on economic activities and this impacted negatively on the income of families. This made it very hard for families to improve their economic powers especially those in rural and urban areas. Thereby, enhancing vulnerability, making the poor to become poorer because there is no backup that the poor could easily fall on. More so, the capacity to recover and adapt became impaired. Families faced challenges in the emergence of the pandemic. Hence, this paper discussed Covid-19 pandemic, the families, challenges of Covid-19 pandemic faced by families in Nigeria, survival strategies utilized by the families, and finally due to advancing family income.

This study sought to investigate the role of digital resources in improving teachers’ knowledge of nutrition and how such knowledge of nutrition can influence the family’s nutrition and consumption pattern. To achieve this, two research questions were raised: What is the digital device that teachers get nutrition education more from? How does the knowledge of digital nutrition education impact on their food consumption pattern? The study adopted a cross-sectional design. Data were analyzed using frequency counts, mean and standard deviation. Results showed that the highest sources of digital nutritional knowledge were YouTube (28.6%), Facebook (24.4%) and Google (15.7%), while WhatsApp was the lowest (6%). Findings also revealed that majority of the respondents apply the nutritional knowledge from these sources in planning and preparing family meals with the intention to advance proper nutrition and healthy living of their families. The study recommended that Ministry of Health in collaboration with the Ministry of Education should develop Nutrition Education materials and upload via YouTube, Facebook, and other social media platforms for teachers to access them.

The world today has become a global village of the advancement of the information and communication technology. Apart from the physical economy, it was created a digital economy where almost all that can take place in the physical can also take place. Does this have any impact on the development of the family? This study is aimed at investigating the relationship between online marketing, social media and family development among residents of Edo state. This study will adopt the correlational survey design. Three research questions were raised to guide the study, while three corresponding hypotheses were formulated for this study. The sample of people living in the three senatorial districts of Edo State, Nigeria, was drawn using a multi-stage sampling approach. The Impart of Digital Economy Tools Scale (IDETS) was the tool used to gather the data. The analytical works were addressed using inferential statistics, the first two hypotheses were tested using the Pearson Product Moment method, and the third hypothesis was tested using the method of multiple regression at the threshold of 0.05 percent. From the results, it was found that there is a significant relationship between online marketing and use of social media and family development; and that online marketing has a higher influence on family development. Based on the above, it was recommended that families should explore the positive and development aspect of online marketing to the advantage of family development; family members should focus more on the development of the family, which is the main idea behind internet development and use than the pathological aspect; and finally, that the government should make policies towards the regulation of internet use to control for addiction/overuse.
