One topic of crime reporting and legal issues that is currently being widely discussed is murder cases. Critical discourse analysis helps uncover and understand hidden agenda interests behind the way reporting is done. By using Roger Fowler's critical discourse analysis approach, this research will pay attention to how the mass media uses certain vocabulary, grammar and transformations to shape and direct readers' views. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research and tends to use analysis. Process and meaning (subject perspective) are more emphasized in qualitative research. From the results of the research analysis and discussion, there is the use of Roger Fowler's theory in the vocabulary aspect; limiting views, discourse battles, and marginalization, as well as grammatical aspects in the form of using active sentences in writing news headlines to reveal the father-in-law as the subject (S), the perpetrator of the murder as the party to blame. Fitria's victim is marginalized and leads readers to position themselves as those who share in the cruelty towards the victim by the perpetrator.

The research aimed to study and analyze the influence of adding glucomannan as a natural thickening agent on the physical quality and consumer acceptance of catfish tekwan. The study was conducted at the Food Processing Laboratory of the Department of Culinary Education, Jakarta State University. The research commenced in August 2022 and concluded in December 2023. The methodology employed was experimental. The research samples consisted of catfish tekwan with the addition of glucomannan in proportions of 1%, 2%, and 3%, evaluated by 30 moderately trained panelists assessing various aspects. The statistical hypothesis tests, specifically the Friedman test, revealed that overall, the addition of 1%, 2%, and 3% glucomannan to catfish tekwan did not significantly impact consumer acceptance in terms of color, saltiness, umami taste, catfish aroma, fishy smell, chewiness, stickiness, and surface smoothness. Furthermore, the ANOVA test for physical quality showed that the level of chewiness did not exhibit a significant difference due to the addition of 1%, 2%, or 3% glucomannan in the production of catfish tekwan. The conclusion drawn from this study recommends the use of 3% glucomannan in catfish tekwan for the development of natural thickening agents.

In the wake of Society 5.0 phenomenon this article delves into the intricate interplay between technological progress and national security. Society 5.0 envisions a world where technological innovations, including IoT, Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, and robotics, are harnessed to enhance the fabric of societal life including in national security. While promising unprecedented positive developments particularly in national security and intelligence, this paradigm shift also unfurls a double-edged sword, presenting unforeseen challenges. The era's impact on security and intelligence encompasses increased data connectivity and sharing, paving the way for advanced intelligence technologies such as AI and IoT, and predictive analytics. However, these positive strides are juxtaposed against contemporary challenges that demand practical solutions, commitment, and ample resources. The article meticulously navigates through the labyrinth of these challenges, emphasizing the need for a holistic approach. It unfolds in three parts: exploring the challenges of intelligence and national security in the Society 5.0 era, understanding these challenges to shift towards discussing implementation of intelligence measures in this era to safeguard national security, and finally, culminating in a conclusion that underscores the necessity of commitment, resources, and robust cross-sector collaboration to effectively leverage the positive potential of Society 5.0 in securing nations against present and future security challenges.

Passive behavior in learning occurs a lot among Indonesian students, based on the results of pre-research conducted by researchers by interviewing teachers and also students of Junior High School Muhammadiyah 04 Singosari during the pre-research showed that 80% of students were less assertive. The purpose of this research is to find out whether the AMT (Achievement Motivation Training) method can increase students' assertive behavior. This research is included in the experimental research with pretest-posttest control group design experimental design. The population in this study was grade 9 Junior High School Muhammadiyah 04 Singosari, and the samples taken in this study totaled 37 students and used a sampling technique with saturated samples. Analysis of the results of the study using the normality test and T-test using SPSS. Based on the results of data collection, it was found that the normality test was 0.200 > 0.05 so the pre-test and post-test values were normally distributed. The results of the T-test were 0.31 > 0.05, which means that there were differences in the post-test results of the two groups that were given treatment and were not given treatment. So the AMT method is effective in increasing assertive behavior.
