The objective of the study was to determine the applicability given by teachers of the University of Guayaquil to emerging technologies in virtual learning environments. It assumed the quantitative approach, descriptive type of research, and field design, non-experimental, cross-sectional. It was conducted during the second period of 2022. The population under study was 287 teachers of the Faculty of Philosophy, Letters and Educational Sciences, the sample consisted of 166 teachers after applying a simple random sampling.

The creation of 3D-printed corporate mascots is a complex scientific and social process. It requires the use of 3D printing technologies, engineering, and design, while taking into account ethical, legal, and moral considerations. Creating a unique and personalized mascot allows for an emotional connection with patients. Mascots have the potential to have a significant impact on businesses, including dental clinics. In this sense, they help to create a strong and memorable brand identity. This potential represents an opportunity to use corporate mascots as a marketing element, especially on social media as a distinctive element from the competition.

The university has been using the concept of formative research for the fulfillment of one of its functions within the framework of the law. Since then we have conducted research on the development of research skills in the university classroom, we present activities developed by professors, which bring us closer to the use of tools that allow the development of research skills from the training process. The objective of this research is to develop an augmented reality mobile application for learning mathematics and reading for children between 5 and 7 years of age who suffer from autism spectrum disorders. An own methodology for the development of the mobile application is presented and as results the finished mobile application is shown, which was evaluated by the tutors of the autistic children. 90% of the tutors affirmed that augmented reality facilitated educational understanding, 80% assured that learning through augmented reality applications is more attractive for children and finally 90% affirmed that they would recommend the use of the mobile application to tutors with similar situations.

After the COVID-19 pandemic, attempts have been made to return to the old normality, but the changes have affected dental services. It was sought to determine the production cost and rate proposal for a restoration with 1.2 resin in a permanent tooth and to make a rate proposal. The results obtained from 26 samples indicated an average direct cost of $2.42 and an average indirect cost of $4.02 in an average execution time of 21:39 minutes. The average production cost is $6.45 and a fee amount of $14.65 is proposed.

The purpose of this study was to ascertain the degree of correlation between formative research and the attainment of research competencies by students majoring in Foreign Language at a Peruvian public university. Using a non-probabilistic sampling method, 59 colleague students were selected for the sample. The design of the study was non-experimental and transactional in nature. The correlation coefficient between the variables was calculated to be 0.705, indicating that the relationship is positive and has a strong positive correlation. Consequently, there is a significant relationship between the variables of the study.

La elasticidad de la oferta es importante para la toma de decisiones en el comportamiento de los productores de arroz cáscara. En este sentido, el objetivo de este estudio es estimar la elasticidad de la oferta de corto y largo plazo del arroz cáscara en el Perú, utilizando el modelo de Nerlove, y considerando como variable dependiente la superficie cosechada de arroz cáscara. Los resultados muestran que la elasticidad de la oferta de arroz cáscara en el corto plazo es inelástica (0.203866), y en el largo plazo también es inelástica (0.335631), además, el coeficiente de ajuste de los productores es 0.607412

Este artículo analiza la responsabilidad social de estudiantes universitarios según variables sociodemográficas en una universidad pública del Perú. El estudio fue descriptivo, cuantitativo de corte transversal en una muestra de 758 estudiantes. Los resultados evidenciaron que la mayoría de los participantes registraron un alto grado de responsabilidad social asumiendo un compromiso social dentro de su formación profesional que no se diferencia por edad, sin embargo, si por sexo (mujeres), ocupación (estudia y trabaja), área de estudios (biomédicas o ciencias de la salud), y año de estudios (años superiores).

El estudio examina cómo la post-pandemia influyó en las actividades digitales de estudiantes universitarios peruanos, destacando el surgimiento de un "estilo de vida electrónico" debido al aislamiento. Se estudió la relación entre este nuevo estilo y el valor otorgado a internet, concluyendo que este valor difiere entre géneros. Se realizó una encuesta a 189 estudiantes, utilizando un modelo basado en el concepto de e-lifestyle. Los hallazgos reflejan nuevas necesidades e intereses digitales post-pandemia y el cambio en la percepción de la importancia de internet.

La comprensión de la evolución y las implicancias de la desinformación mediática en el Perú es fundamental, por cuanto se requiere de una revisión sistemática de las tesis universitarias. Este estudio revela el creciente interés que se ha generado en torno a la desinformación como objeto de estudio, aunque su distribución no es uniforme en términos disciplinares y geográficos. Las tesis abordan una variedad de temas que reflejan la diversidad y la importancia de la desinformación. Se analizan diversas formas de manifestación y propagación de la desinformación, así como se proponen recomendaciones para contrarrestarla.
