Descripción Metalográfica de implantes de Titanio calcinados y su aplicación como descriptor forense 煅烧钛植入物的金相描述及其作为法医描述物的应用

Introduction: Forensic science develops diverse technologies for the identification of corpses, but in some cases these procedures can be very expensive and unreliable in the case of cremated bodies. This research aimed to describe the metallographic changes in a titanium implant subjected to different temperatures and the evaluation of its potential use as a forensic descriptor. Materials  and methods: Fifteen titanium mini implants with an identification code were made, inserted into pork jaws and subjected to temperatures of 200 ° C, 800 ° C and 1000 ° C, samples were recovered and analyzed were performed by optical microscopy and electron scanning microscopy.  Results: It was possible to characterize the microstructure for each temperature, an increase in the oxide layer was observed with the increase of each temperature.  Conclusion: It is possible to use dental implants as a forensic identifier.
导读:法医科学开发了多种鉴定尸体的技术,但在某些情况下,这些程序可能非常昂贵,而且在火化尸体的情况下不可靠。本研究旨在描述钛种植体在不同温度下的金相变化,并评估其作为法医描述符的潜在用途。材料与方法:制作15个带有识别码的钛微型植入物,置入猪爪中,分别经过200℃、800℃、1000℃的温度处理,回收样品,通过光学显微镜和电子扫描显微镜进行分析。结果:可以表征各温度下的微观结构,氧化层随温度的升高而增加。结论:种植体作为法医鉴定物是可行的。

Current overview of the state of disabled population, regarding the use of transtibial prosthesis 关于胫骨假体使用的残疾人现状综述

The Center of Design and Metrology of SENA-CDM (Centro de Diseno y Metrologia del SENA–CDM) has found that the population with disability of lower limbs represents a technical-technological challenge, regarding locomotion recovery, since this group requires very expensive surgeries or devices, such as canes, crutches, wheel chairs or other items to help them move freely.  It is important to take into account that there are doubts as to whether prosthesis on the market satisfy patients’ economical and functionality needs. Through this project, we intend to solve this inconvenience and generate a solution with local technology in the Center of Design and Metrology of SENA.  In Colombia, there are not many companies that design and manufacture the elements composing a prosthesis; for this reason, the CDM has been working for approximately five years on the design and adaptation of prosthesis and orthosis with imported components. Thus, we intend to design and implement a 100%-SENA-manufactured ankle articulation for transtibial amputation, which meets the ergonomic and functional needs for patients. This original scientific article gathers the most relevant information regarding a topic affecting our society. Here, we analyze different bibliographic sources described in the existing literature. Using this knowledge, we have created the stages required to write this article, defining revision objectives and making the most relevant bibliographical search, and organizing information according to mind maps in order to write this paper.

Evaluación de la sílice obtenida de un subproducto industrial en pastas y morteros de cemento Portland 硅酸盐水泥浆和砂浆中工业副产物二氧化硅的评价

In the present paper, the results of properties such as compression strength and fluidity in mortar; along with consistency, setting times and viscosity in pastes are shown. All these properties were tested with the addition of an artificial pozzolan like rice husk ash (RHA), which is an agro industrial by product of a Colombian rice processor. The RHA was obtained from a thermal and milling process.

Hacia la conceptualización del pensamiento tecnológico en educación y tecnología: comprensión de un concepto 教育与技术中技术思维的概念化:对概念的理解

This article seeks to present the conceptual and theoretical framework of research being done as a Inter institutional Ph.D. thesis in Education at the Universities of Valle, Distrital and National Pedagogical of Bogota - Colombia. The overall objective is to build the concept of technological thinking and its characteristics in terms of attributes. The concept of Technological Thought operationalizes to design a survey instrument to assess the extent to which an academic community of teachers, students and engineers have the mental representation, and in some way contribute to the recruitment companies in technology projects. With this objective, the aim is to bridge the conceptual gap that exists in the speech of the Ministry of Education refers to education in technology and the theoretical that is global, which brings about some vague concept approximations. Furthermore it should be noted that the breadth of study is micro-sociological perspective. As to its character, the research will be directed from a qualitative hermeneutic.

This article presents the results of an investigation made by one of the authors, as part of a Master of Science program, and describes different models related with Knowledge Management. The main objective of the study was to design and develop a knowledge management model for the laboratories of polymers. The purpose of this effort is to help to support management, preserve the organizational or corporate memory, and contribute to make it a truly asset for the institution.

Caracterización e implantación de un relleno de ácido poliáctico para la regeneración ósea 用于骨再生的聚乳酸填充物的表征和植入

This article presents the characterization of a polylactic acid (PLA) matrix obtained via experimental procedure and its evaluation like a matrix to promote bone regeneration. The characterization included the chemical identification by Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR), the thermal analysis by DSC and TGA, molecular weight measurement by viscosimetry and In-vitro hydrolytic degradation of the polymer was also studied to simulate the PLA application in the human body. At the final stage of evaluation the implantation of the material as a fill in the tibia of 30 rabbits was carried out to calculate the absorption percentage or bone growth. In the study, properties of lactic acid polymers like biocompatibility and biodegradability were used to produce a matrix to promote bone regeneration.
