Reduction of Input Torque and Joint Reactions in High-Speed Mechanical Systems with Reciprocating Motion 减少带往复运动的高速机械系统中的输入扭矩和关节反作用力

In high-speed machinery, the variable inertia forces generated by reciprocating masses often introduce undesirable effects, such as a significant increase in the required input torque and joint forces. This paper addresses the challenge of reducing input torque and joint reaction forces in such mechanisms by employing two compression linear springs positioned between the slider and the frame. These springs counterbalance the slider's inertia force, thereby diminishing both the input torque and joint reactions. It is important to note that the elastic forces exerted by these springs remain internal to the mechanical system, preserving the balance of shaking forces and moments of the mechanism on the frame. The analytical framework developed in this study focuses on minimizing the root mean square and maximum values of the inertia force effects. A significant scientific achievement is attaining a given goal through an analytical solution. Notably, this is the first instance where this problem has been formulated and solved using explicit expressions. The effectiveness of the proposed technique is also demonstrated through CAD simulations, showing a substantial reduction in input torque and joint reactions.

Modeling the Normal Contact Characteristics between Components Joined in Multi-Bolted Systems 多螺栓系统中连接部件之间的法向接触特性建模

This article is concerned with the modeling and calculation of the contact layer between components joined in a multi-bolted system for assembly conditions. The physical model of the multi-bolted connection is based on a system consisting of an elastic flange component, which is joined to an elastic support using a rigid-body bolt model. The contact layer between the joined components is described by a non-linear Winkler model. A model of the contact joint with consideration of the experimental normal elastic characteristics is presented. Examples of normal contact pressure distributions are included.

Structural Investigation of Drini River Bridges, Case Study of Structures Analyses 德里尼河大桥结构调查,结构分析案例研究

The Drini is the longest river not only in Albania, but in the west Balkan region, with a total length of 285 km. It is well known for a lot of number and famous bridges constructed since the antiquity period and continuing nowadays. This paper is focused on the structural development of bridges that used to be called “Kukësi Bridges” located over the White and Black Drini rivers. The old bridges were built and designed in 1974 using KTP Albanian national codes, carrying the first-class road until the building of a national road. The new bridge is in the final construction stage with the reconstruction of the national road highway, designed with advanced requirements regarding Eurocode standards. This paper analyses the structural bridges' progress related to historical and technical points of view.

Stability of Beam Bridges Under Bridge-Vehicle Interaction 桥梁与车辆相互作用下梁桥的稳定性

In this paper, we provide an accurate and reliable formulation for simulating the interactions of both train/bridge subsystems and suitable for high-speed railway lines as well as for existing lines worldwide that are being renewed or modernized. We model the train as a series of suspended masses, taking into account the energy dissipation and the suspension system for each train vehicle. On the other hand, the bridge supporting the rails with irregular elevations will be modeled as an Euler-Bernoulli beam. The mathematical formulation of the interaction problem between the two subsystems requires the writing of two sets of equations, which interact with each other through contact forces. Using a one-dimensional finite element formulation, a series of equations are constructed by Modeling the beam structure. In addition, the suspended mass equations are first discretized using Newmark's finite difference formulas, which then reduce the degrees of freedom (DOF) of the vehicle to those of the bridge element. This solves the coupling problem between the two subsystems. The derived component is known as the vehicle/bridge interaction (VBI) element. On the other hand, an iterative procedure will be used subsequently to solve the non-linearity problem of the resulting system of differential equations. MATLAB programs provide results that identify the critical parameters influencing the bridge's dynamic stability.

Effect of Earthquake-Induced Structural Pounding on the Floor Accelerations and Floor Response Spectra of Adjacent Building Structures 地震引发的结构冲击对相邻建筑结构的楼层加速度和楼层响应谱的影响

The influence of earthquake-induced structural pounding among buildings is paramount in the seismic analysis and design of structures. The recognition of such a phenomenon has been growing in the last decades. The search for ways to understand and mitigate the consequences of these structural collisions in building structures is the primary goal of the investigation of earthquake-induced building pounding. This phenomenon is known for increasing the floor accelerations, mainly where pounding occurs, implying significant local damage. These collisions cause short-duration acceleration pulses that may compromise the building structure and the non-structural elements within the building’s stories. Non-structural elements supported by the structure’s floors under earthquake-induced pounding instances may present a risk to human lives and/or human activity. Hence, the influence of earthquake-induced pounding in the floor response spectra of two adjacent reinforced concrete structures with inelastic behavior is assessed by varying the number of stories and their separation distance. Pounding greatly influenced the floor acceleration spectra, increasing the spread of accelerations over a broader period range, particularly exciting low to moderate periods of vibration.

Calculation of Rayleigh Damping Coefficients for a Transient Structural Analysis 瞬态结构分析的瑞利阻尼系数计算

Direct numerical integration of differential equations of motion is widely used by engineers to describe the behavior of structures under dynamic loading. The method entails directly integrating the motion equations over time. In the direct method, the damping matrix is formed as a linear combination of mass and stiffness matrices multiplied by the Rayleigh damping coefficients α and β, respectively. The Rayleigh damping coefficients have a significant effect on the response of building structures under dynamic loading. Therefore, the design values of the damping coefficients α and β have crucial importance to ensure accurate and reliable results in a dynamic analysis. The paper presents a time domain analysis for a building subjected to seismic excitations using the modal superposition and direct integration methods. The direct method considers the damping properties of building structures by Rayleigh damping coefficients obtained using various approaches. The building's response to seismic load is compared by response spectra. The authors proposed the least conservative approach for calculating the Rayleigh damping coefficients for analyzing a building in the time domain.

Higher Order Generalized Thermoelastic Model with Memory Responses in Nonhomogeneous Elastic Medium due to Laser Pulse 激光脉冲导致非均质弹性介质中具有记忆响应的高阶广义热弹性模型

The present article deals with the thermoelastic behavior of a nonhomogeneous isotropic material. This study is carried out in the context of an advanced thermoelastic model involving a higher order memory dependent derivative (MDD) with dual time delay terms. The thermoelastic interactions and evolved stresses into the medium are analyzed subject to external mechanical load as well as laser-type heat source. It is observed that the material moduli of the medium have a significant impact on its thermodynamic behavior. The analytical expression of the field functions is obtained in the integral transform domain. To know the nature of the field functions in the space-time domain, a discretized form of the inverse integral transformations is applied and depicted graphically for various kernel functions and empirical constants.

Numerical Analysis of Unsteady Vibrations of a Plate Resting on an Elastic Isotropic Half-Space 弹性各向同性半空间上静止板的非稳态振动数值分析

The paper is devoted to the numerical solution of the problem of vibrations of an infinite elastic plate resting on an elastic isotropic half-space using the analytical method based on the ray method with its numerical realization via the Maplesoft package. Unsteady oscillations are caused by the action of instantaneous loads on the plate, resulting in the appearance of two plane wave surfaces of strong discontinuity in the elastic half-space, behind the fronts of which, up to the contact boundary, the solution is constructed using ray series. The unknown functions entering the coefficients of the ray series and the equation of plate motion are determined from the boundary conditions of the contact interaction between the plate and the half-space. Previously, the approximate solution of this problem was obtained analytically without using mathematical packages, and the dynamic deflection of the plate involving only the first three terms of the ray series was written down. In this work, a two-layer medium with different properties was investigated using an algorithm developed to solve contact dynamic problems related to the occurrence and propagation of strong and weak discontinuity surfaces.

This study aims to look at multi-target optimization of two-stage bevel helical gearboxes to determine the best major design factors for reducing gearbox bottom area (GBA) and increasing gearbox efficiency (GE). Grey relation analysis (GRA) and the Taguchi technique were used to address the problem in two steps. Prioritizing the closure of the variable level gap, the single-objective optimization problem was addressed, followed by the multi-objective optimization problem, which identified the ideal primary design variables. Additionally, the first-stage gear ratio, allowable contact stresses (ACS), and first and second-stage coefficients of wheel face width (CWFW) were calculated. The outcomes of the study were used to determine the best values for five essential design features of a two-stage bevel helical gearbox (BHG).

Research on Adapting Sanitizing Robots in Stock Farms Hygiene 关于在畜牧场卫生中应用消毒机器人的研究

This article describes a possible adaptation of sanitizing and other robots in stock farms to increase their hygiene conditions. The importance of the subject is analyzed, based on reviewing the main threads in terms of hygiene in stock farms. Existing sanitizing and other robots suitable for farm needs are described and reviewed. Conclusions about their implementation are made. Some improvements are suggested for optimizing the hygiene conditions in farms and reducing the risk of disease and infection spreading.
