For decades, cancer has been a major public health concern worldwide owing to its high mortality rate. Many therapeutic strategies have come up in the scientific world, but it's pitiful to know that synthetic chemotherapeutic agents either cause adverse effects or cancer cells develop resistance to these agents. Plant-derived chemotherapeutic agents present a wide range of therapeutics and most are yet to be discovered. In the current review, we have discussed the tumoricidal properties of Mucuna pruriens (seed), Withania coagulans (berry), Anacyclus pyrethrum (rhizome), Arachis hypogea (leaf), Rhizaoma polygoni (root) and Terminalia chebula (fruit). We have also tried to summarize the latest research in cancer chemoprevention and treatment using the bioactive components from these natural plants. Pharmaceutical developmental challenges and opportunities in bringing the phytochemicals into the market are also explored. The authors wish to expand this research area not only for their scientific soundness, but also for their potential-yet-affordable druggability.

The novel Coronavirus, also known as SARS-CoV-2 (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2), causes COVID-19.In the wake of COVID-19, incidences of mucormycosis were rising alarmingly, especially rhino-orbital-cerebral mucormycosis. Most cases required surgical intervention followed by the fabrication of obturators.A hollow obturator is the most practical, convenient, and cost-effective solution for prosthodontic rehabilitation. A patient with pain overthe maxillary region (left) reported to the department of Prosthodontics and Crown & Bridge. His past medical history revealed that he tested and recovered from SARS-CoV-2. Clinical, radiographic, and smear tests confirmed rhino-cerebral mucormycosis with post covid pneumonia. Surgical left partial maxillectomy performed 4 months back. His intra-oral examination revealed a large maxillary defect extending from the left-sided alveolar bone, along with a missing base of the maxilla and palatal bone. The case report presents a hollow bulb definitive obturator fabrication for the treatment of acquired maxillary defects after COVID-19-caused mucormycosis.

Heart disease is one of the major non-communicable disease and leading cause of mortality in the world. According to WHO heart disease is taking about nearly 17.9 million lives of people each year. Its mortality forecasts indicate a rise in global annual deaths to 20.5 million in 2020 and as high as 24.2 million by 2030. Risk factors are one of the most powerful predictors of heart disease. The study includes modified and non- modified risk factors that contribute to the disease such as Age, Gender, Family history, Hypertension, Diabetics, Obesity, Blood Pressure, Smoking, Alcohol intake, Exercise and Heart rate. Machine learning is one of the most useful techniques that can help researchers, entrepreneurs, and individuals for extracting valuable information from sets of data. The objective of this study is to highlight the utility and application of machine learning techniques for the prediction of heart disease to facilitate experts in the healthcare domain. A total of 336 patients were examined and their personal and medical data were collected in JSS hospital. This prospective study was consisting of 55% patients are free from the heart disease and 45% have heart disease. From the result, it has been determined that males are more likely to develop the heart diseases than females and very common in elderly persons. The accuracy of the Naïve Bayes model is found to be 94%, Obesity plays a vital role in getting the disease followed by hypertension, alcohol intake, smoking, exercise and age has more impact on developing the heart disease.
