ON THE INNER BACK COVER: Confocal image of a mixed sample of C. elegans and S. pombe, mounted onto the same coverslip, in which endogenous myo1 genes have been replaced with functional fluorescent labelled full-length myosin-I fusions. While the nematode worm contains both Myo1d (red) and Myo1e (green), yeasts only express Myo1e (green). Nuclei (blue) are labelled with Hoescht stain in the worm and actin (red) labelled with LifeAct in the yeast.
