The impact of the Covid-19 virus that has struck Indonesia is also felt by photographers, especially in the context of weddings. Wedding events during the Covid-19 pandemic significantly affect photographers in providing good services to customers due to the involvement of two large families. Photographers must have strategies to attract customers. One possible strategy that photographers may use in this regard is employing persuasive communication. Therefore, this research aims to analyze the processes and obstacles of verbal and non-verbal persuasive communication between photographers and customers in completing work contracts. This study is qualitative with a constructivist paradigm. The results indicate that the persuasive communication employed by photographers provides a sense of safety and comfort to customers. Obstacles such as time delays pose challenges for photographers

Communication management is very important. for the process of reciprocal exchange of information, persuasion, or giving orders. This is used by agents of change so that they can carry out their duties of bullying prevention programs in schools. This study aims to explain the communication management of agents of change at SMP Negeri 1 Gorontalo City in the bullying prevention program. This is a qualitative study with data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings show that the agents of change at SMPN 1 Kota Gorontalo carry out bullying prevention programs with several programs, such as bullying prevention programs through socialization, educational programs for each class, and programs through social media. Also, the top program of the anti-bullying campaign is carried out using communication management assisted by their supervisor as head of Counseling and Guidance. The conclusion from the findings is that the communication management of agents of change in the bullying prevention program at SMPN 1 Kota Gorontalo has been in accordance with the Cutlip and Center model of communication planning. As in the fact-finding process, agents of change have been able to identify bullying prevention programs well. In the planning process, even though in planning the bullying prevention program they still asked for help from the supervisor, they were able to carry out at the well by SMPN bullying the 1 Kota agents prevention of Gorontalo change programs by because well. they communicate The successful communication in through raising the process programs awareness is of those carried bullies have out implemented. The focus of this research is the interpersonal communication efforts made by the Guidance Counseling teacher in handling student indisciplinary behavior and the communication barriers that occur in handling it. The theory used is interpersonal communication theory (Joseph A. Devito). This research method uses qualitative methods. The results of the study found that: the efforts made by counseling guidance teachers in dealing with students who commit disciplinary actions are by (1) Openness, through openness the counseling guidance teacher can find out clearly what is the main reason students commit disciplinary actions by calling students personally (2) Empathy, through empathy the counseling guidance teacher feels directly what is actually the main problem of students, through the expression of students' feelings and attitudes so that the counseling guidance teacher can then provide motivation and advice so that in the future the student does not repeat his actions. (3) Support and positive attitude, through the support of counseling teachers who already understand the conditions of students who commit disciplinary actions try to accept with positive thoughts so as not to affect emotions.Teachers find solutions by not scolding students so that communication is effective and the message of advice given to students is also conveyed properly. (4) Equality. The counseling teacher tries to give full trust to students not to repeat their actions, by giving trust the counseling teacher believes the student will think again when committing disciplinary actions because their teacher has given them trust. The barriers found in the interpersonal communication process are first, psychological barriers where students are afraid or embarrassed (minder) when they know they are called by the counseling guidance teacher so that students become closed and unable to communicate well.Second, technical barriers, where there is only one counseling teacher so that counseling services become less optimal. Third, cultural barriers mean that differences in socio-cultural backgrounds between counseling teachers and students result in differences in perceptions so that counseling teachers must provide understanding repeatedly to equalize perceptions.
本研究的重点是辅导教师在处理学生违纪行为时的人际沟通工作以及在处理过程中出现的沟通障碍。采用的理论是人际沟通理论(Joseph A. This article discusses the campaign style of supporters of presidential candidates (capres) and vice presidential candidates (cawapres) who are contesting in the 2024 General Election (Pemilu). The research focuses on the five presidential and cawapres debates held. During the debate period, supporters of the presidential and vice presidential candidates carried out amplification by uploading video clips of the debate on TikTok. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data was collected during the presidential and vice presidential debate period. The research results show that TikTokers creatively use typical TikTok features to highlight the advantages of the presidential candidate pairs they support. However, on the other hand, the TikTokers' posts were not equipped with the data presented by the candidates during the debate. With this TikToker campaign model, even though it is successful in terms of political marketing, it lacks political education. Keyword: political campaign, 2024 Election, TikTok

enelitian ini dilakukan untuk melihat bagaimana Studi Netnografi Pesan Penerimaan Diri Yang Disebarkan Dalam Bentuk Lagu Di Media Youtube Dengan Judul “Tutur Batin” Karya Yura Yunita Di Kalangan Pendengar Perempuan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif yang memiliki tujuan yaitu menjelaskan suatu fenomena secara terperinci dan menjawab permasalahan yang diambil oleh peneliti. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan penelitian netnografi, yaitu sebuah pendekatan yang disebut sebagai etnografi dalam internet dengan cara melihat interaktifitas didalamnya dan melihat perilaku seseorang dari berbagai budaya dan komunitas dalam dunia maya. Netnografi adalah cara untuk melakukan penelitian antropologi melalui internet, menggunakan informasi yang tersedia secara publik di mana semua orang bebas berbagi melalui media sosial. Dalam melakukan penelitian, peneliti menggunakan teknik observasi non partisipan karena peneliti tidak ikut berpartisipasi didalam kehidupan penelitian, peneliti hanya mengamati pada kolom komentar di Musik Video Tutur Batin pada YouTube Yura Yunita dan Teknik Studi Pustaka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, bahwa Penerimaan Diri Para Pendengar Perempuan setelah mendengarkan Lagu Tutur Batin adalah Mampu Menilai Diri sendiri dan mengoreksi kelemahan pribadi, sifat percaya diri dan mengasihi diri sendiri, mandiri dan berpendirian, jujur terhadap diri sendiri dan memanfaatkan kemampuan dengan bijaksana dan efektif.

This research aims to dissect interfaith figures’ symbolic interactionist communication approach in managing religious diversity. Using qualitative ethnographic research, data collection methods in the research used interviews, observation, and documentation. Listed as key informants were ten interfaith figures who were members of the Pekalongan City Religious Harmony Forum (FKUB). The research results show that interfaith figures in Pekalongan City use a symbolic interactionist communication approach in managing religious diversity in Pekalongan City. Among the forms of Symbolic Interactionism are symbols, gestures, language, rituals, education, and intercultural dialogue. The symbolic interactionism approach is also used to support the process of institutionalizing multicultural values which are the foundation for realizing religious harmony in Pekalongan City.

Proses digitalisasi dan penetrasi internet yang mengarah pada percepatan perkembangan media online pada gilirannya mengarah pada disrupsi (disruption) teknologi yang menantang model bisnis media cetak konvensional. Penggunaan media online memang lebih populer daripada media cetak karena dapat memudahkan penggunanya dalam mengakses dan menyumbangkan ide serta pendapat tanpa batas. Dalam beberapa tahun terakhir, jurnalis di Kota Medan melakukan adaptasi terhadap perubahan tersebut dan kerap menggunakan perangkat smartphone dalam kerja jurnalistik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan bentuk komunikasi dan kolaborasi yang dilakukan oleh jurnalis di Kota Medan dalam proses adaptasi terhadap digitalisasi industri media. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif dan dilakukan terhadap 60 orang jurnalis di Kota Medan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jurnalis di Kota Medan sudah memiliki kemampuan yang cukup baik untuk melakukan komunikasi dan kolaborasi dengan menggunakan perangkat digital. Para jurnalis sudah memiliki kemampuan untuk membangun konten digital, mengintegrasikan dan mengelaborasikan data digital, memiliki kesadaran akan copyright dan perizinan, serta membangun engagement dengan khalayak. Saat ini jurnalis di Kota Medan didominasi oleh generasi milenial yang berusia 25-39 tahun. Generasi ini merupakan generasi yang lahir dan tumbuh pada masa transisi elektronik ke digital, sehingga meskipun bukan native era digital namun masih bisa beradaptasi dengan perubahan yang muncul dalam digitalisasi

Tobing, Farida Hanim","doi":"10.22236/komunika.v11i01.12620","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.22236/komunika.v11i01.12620","url":null,"abstract":"Proses digitalisasi dan penetrasi internet yang mengarah pada percepatan perkembangan media online pada gilirannya mengarah pada disrupsi (disruption) teknologi yang menantang model bisnis media cetak konvensional. Penggunaan media online memang lebih populer daripada media cetak karena dapat memudahkan penggunanya dalam mengakses dan menyumbangkan ide serta pendapat tanpa batas. Dalam beberapa tahun terakhir, jurnalis di Kota Medan melakukan adaptasi terhadap perubahan tersebut dan kerap menggunakan perangkat smartphone dalam kerja jurnalistik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan bentuk komunikasi dan kolaborasi yang dilakukan oleh jurnalis di Kota Medan dalam proses adaptasi terhadap digitalisasi industri media. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif dan dilakukan terhadap 60 orang jurnalis di Kota Medan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jurnalis di Kota Medan sudah memiliki kemampuan yang cukup baik untuk melakukan komunikasi dan kolaborasi dengan menggunakan perangkat digital. Para jurnalis sudah memiliki kemampuan untuk membangun konten digital, mengintegrasikan dan mengelaborasikan data digital, memiliki kesadaran akan copyright dan perizinan, serta membangun engagement dengan khalayak. Saat ini jurnalis di Kota Medan didominasi oleh generasi milenial yang berusia 25-39 tahun. Merebaknya pandemi Covid-19 mendorong respon Muhammadiyah dengan membentuk MCCC pada tanggal 5 Maret 2020. MCCC menerapkan serangkaian strategi komunikasi untuk membantu penanganan penyebaran pandemi Covid-19, khususnya pada kasus Omicron. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan strategi komunikasi organisasi yang dilakukan oleh MCCC dalam penanganan Covid-19 pada saat varian omicron masuk ke Indonesia. Teori pada peneltian ini menggunakan pandangan Pace dan Faules (2013) untuk melihat bentuk dari komunikasi organisasi dari MCCC itu sendiri. Sementara itu, pandangan Cutlip, Center, & Broom (2016) penulis gunakan untuk memperdalam strategi komunikasi yang dilakukan oleh MCCC. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan model deskriptif analisis. Temuan dari penelitian ini ialah strategi komunikasi organisasi MCCC dalam penanganan Covid-19 telah menggunakan 7c Cutlip, Centre, & Broom, dimana MCCC telah menerapkan : 1) credibility, 2) context, 3) clarity, 4) continuity and consistency, 5) channel, 6) capability of the audience, 7) content. Penerapan strategi komunikasi organisasi tersebut didukung dengan iklim komunikasi organisasi yang mengedepankan urusan kemanusiaan di internal Muhammadiyah, sehingga lebih kompak dan terkonsolidasi dengan baik.

Kondisi kelas sosial dalam sebuah masyarakat tidak dapat terlepas dari pengamatan kelompok kapitalis untuk dikomodifikasi menjadi sebuah komoditas. Praktik komodifikasi ini sangat menguntungkan pihak kapitalis sebagai pemilik modal dari sisi materiil. Hal ini dapat mereka lakukan melalui praktik representasi kelas sosial menjadi sebuah komoditas tontonan dan hiburan untuk dinikmati khalayak. Salah satu produk dari industri ini adalah cerita anak yang berjudul Poupelle of Chimney Town: Petualangan Poupelle di Kota Cerobong Asap. Kisah fiksi tersebut merepresentasikan kehidupan manusia pinggiran, khususnya subaltern dari kelas sosial bawah. Hal ini sekaligus menjadi sebuah kritik sosial yang dikemas dalam bentuk cerita anak yang dapat menumbuhkan kesadaran kelas bagi khalayak. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori representasi yang ditawarkan oleh Stuart Hall. Di mana narasi dan visual yang ditampilkan dilihat memiliki kepentingan politis dalam merepresentasikan kehidupan masyarakat miskin di era modern. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis wacana multimodal dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Peneliti menggunakan teknik observasi dan dokumentasi untuk mengumpulkan data primer. Adapun teknik validitas data yang digunakan peneliti adalah triangulasi teori guna mendapatkan hasil penelitian yang lebih objektif. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa cerita anak tersebut membangun representasi dari masyarakat subaltern di era modern. Di mana dalam kelompok subaltern terdapat kekuasaan yang juga dimiliki oleh setiap individu. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa dalam realita di masyarakat, kelompok yang termarjinalkan sekalipun tetap memiliki power untuk menunjukkan posisi sosialnya. Selain itu, cerita ini juga menunjukkan bahwa cerita anak dapat dibuat berdasarkan narasi dari masalah sosial modern.

This study aims to look at the portrait of the current problem of da'wah and its strategy. This type of research is used for literature review or literature review. The results obtained are the condition of the portrait of da'wah in the current era of information globalization which is increasingly heavy and complex, of course, it becomes a challenge for the development of da'wah. The emergence of problems that target the younger generation becomes a threat point for the survival of Muslims, especially in Indonesia. The portrait of the problems faced and the challenges and threats for da'wah and da'i activists is the "silting of faith" due to the progress of the times such as problems related to the erosion of Aqeedah and Akhlaq, single religious shifts, problems of pluralistic, hedonistic, individualistic and materialistic societies related to rationalism.
