The perception of the police action in the face of Covid-19 was the objective of this work. A cross-sectional, psychometric and correlational study was carried out with a sample of 100 students, considering their participation in the public health system as social servants or professional practitioners through a platform. A four-factor structure was found that explained 63% of the total variance, although the findings are only applicable to the sample, and its extension to other scenarios is recommended.

Abstrak Pola asuh merupakan hal yang fundamental dalam pembentukan karakter. Teladan sikap orang tua sangat dibutuhkan bagi perkembangan anak karena anak-anak melakukan modeling dan imitasi dari lingkungan terdekatnya. Keterbukaan antara orang tua dan anak menjadi hal penting agar dapat menghindarkan anak dari pengaruh negatif yang ada di luar lingkungan keluarga. Orang tua perlu membantu anak dalam mendisiplinkan diri. Melalui program parenting sebagai wadah komunikasi antar orangtua, disamping untuk memberikan sosialisasi terhadap program-program yang diselenggarakan oleh Lembaga/PAUD. Secara umum tujuan program parenting, adalah mengajak para orang tua untuk bersama-sama memberikan yang terbaik untuk anak-anak mereka dengan membangun pola komunikasi keluarga yang sehat. Penelitian ini dilakukan di TK Ar-Rahman Desa Tadukan Raga, Kecamatan STM Hilir, Deli Serdang, dengan melibatkan 30 orang wali/orang tua siswa. Untuk menggali dan memetakan apa saja keluhan atau permasalahan yang dihadapi orang tua saat mengasuh anaknya dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Post It. Kemudian dilanjutkan dengan metode FGD dan sharing session untuk membangun kesadaran orang tua terhadap masalah utama anak yang telah ditemukan sebelumnya agar mampu menyikapinya dengan bijaksana dan tepat sasaran. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa ada 3 (tiga) masalah utama yang paling sering ditemui orang tua saat mengasuh anak yaitu anak yang keras kepala, anak yang susah diatur dan anak yang sering cemburu dengan saudara sekandungnya. Kesalahan orang tua selama ini dalam mengasuh anak adalah orang tua sering memaksakan kemauannya pada anak tanpa memperhatikan apa keinginan dan kemampuan yang dimiliki anak serta buruknya pola komunikasi keluarga yang dibentuk sehingga anak diposisikan pada subjek yang harus menerima keinginan orang tua. The Covid 19 pandemic that entered Indonesia since the end of 2019 or early 2020 has decreased significantly from the number of sufferers. In this regard, the crisis provides many lessons for the community and policy makers. One of the important lessons is how people seek information and how government communication policies are formulated. This research was conducted to examine the behavior of people seeking information during the Covid 19 Pandemic, and how this has implications for communication policies. The research was conducted using mixed methods. Quantitative research is conducted through online surveys and big data analysis, while qualitative research is conducted through focus group discussions. The results showed that the media used by the public to obtain information was very diverse. Social media is the most widely used. But unfortunately, the level of trust in information from social media is very low. Television is the most trusted medium. Communication strategies should be based on people's behavior in seeking information so that crisis communication regarding Covid 19 can be carried out properly

Alasan mengapa peneliti memilih membahas tentang iklan konditioner Pantene ini karena dalam waktu 24 jam iklan ini telah disaksikan oleh 950,773 penonton dan dinyatakan oleh Senior Brand Manager Pantene Indonesia bahwa penjualan produk meningkat dan membuat produk konditioner ini sempat habis dimana-mana. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dan deskriptif. Peneliti menggunakan teori Roland Barthes untuk memahami makna dalam iklan pantene dan khalayak yang menonton iklan tersebut untuk ajakan pembelian sebuah produk. Iklan Pantene Hair Miracles Treatmen Conditioner menceritakan mengenai emosi yang tidak terkontrol karena kelelahan, hal ini kemudian mempengaruhi kehidupan sosial karakter Keanu. Namun setelah marah-marah dan mengomel, tidak ditemukan solusi atas emosi tidak terkontrolnya, setelah berdiskusi dengan voice over ditemukan jika bisa jadi sumber dari segala emosi dan marahnya itu adalah rambut yang kecapekan dan membutuhkan perawatan agar bisa terisi kembali dayanya. Visual dan audio yang ditampilkan melalui tabel analisis memperliatkan bahwa sebagai manusia, kita memiliki tanggung jawab dalam mengurus diri sendiri. Visual dan audio yang telah dianalisis menggunakan Semiotik Barthes juga memperlihatkan pentingnya untuk tidak emosi karena emosi hanya akan menambah kekacauan dan tidak menemukan solusi dari suatu permasalahan. Visual dan audio yang telah dianalisis pada tabel hasil penelitian juga memperlihatkan pesan edukasi proses memperbaiki diri.

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini ditulis karena untuk menjawab pertanyaan, bagaimana makna religiusitas yang terkandung dalam puisi Penyatuan karya Abdullah Wong jika diteliti dengan perspektif metafora dan simbol hermeneutika Paul Ricoeur? Metafora seperti apa yang terkandung dalam puisi Penyatuan karya Abdullah Wong? Simbol religiusitas apa saja yang terkandung dalam puisi tersebut? Dan sejauh mana hermeneutika Paul Ricoeur dapat membongkar makna religiusitas dalam puisi Penyatuan karya Abdullah Wong? Artikel ini tergolong dalam penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Fokus penelitian ini pada metafora dan simbol dengan menggunakan perspektif teori hermeneutika Paul Ricoeur (Ricoeur, 1991: 75) pada puisi Penyatuan karya Abdullah Wong. Puisi Penyatuan, karya Abdullah Wong adalah puisi yang bernuansa religi. Puisi tersebut terdapat dalam sebuah novel dengan berjudul “Mada: Sebuah Nama yang Terbalik”. Puisi memiliki perbedaan dengan pusi-puisi lainnya. Selain terdapat dalam sebuah novel, puisi ini juga dijadikan sebuah lagu (kidung) yang bernuansakan etnik jawa. Selain itu, puisi ini menjadi embrio, ide cerita pertunjukan teater oleh salah satu komunitas teater di Jakarta, yaitu Lab Teater Ciputat, dengan judul “Mada”. Hasil penelitian yang didapat adalah makna religiusitas pada puisi Penyatuan dibangun atas wacana, “aku lirik”, manusia sebagai pejalan spiritual yang pada dasarnya adalah makhluk religi. Kesadaran trasendental sebagai seorang pejalan spiritual harus memiliki nilai-nilai religiusitas sebagai wujud pengabdiannya kepada ilahi melalui tugas yang harus dijalani seorang hamba. Discourse analysis is one of the methods of conducting research in social sciences, especially communication science. This paper describes approaches to conducting discourse analysis. The author collects data by conducting a literature review of publications or works of scholars in the field of discourse studies, especially Dijk, Halliday, and Fairclough. The author describes six approaches: The disposition Analysis Approach, Sociocognitive Approach, Discourse-History Approach, Dialectic-Relational Approach, Language Corpus Approach, and Social Actor Approach. Uses of Critical Discourse Analysis. The discourse analysis approach dismantles the practice of power in communication activities through the media. We illustrates that there are challenges for researchers and scholars related to the presence of new technologies, whether the presence of these new media provides an opportunity to create a counter-discourse or a small narrative or not. The new communication media provides breadth for the audience to produce many channels in producing and distributing discourse so that certain groups do not dominate the discourse. Traditional media has so far created a dominant discourse because of the accessibility of the media to the media structure so that the discourse supports the interests of the media. The presence of digital communication platforms enables small narratives, facilitating a culture of participation in media content

Kemampuan komunikasi interpersonal adalah hal yang sangat penting dalam kehidupan manusia sehari-hari sebagai sarana bagi seseorang untuk melangsungkan proses dan mencapai tujuan kehidupannya baik secara personal maupun profesional, tak terkecuali pada anak. Namun, kasus-kasus terhadap anak seakan tiada henti menghiasi siklus kehidupan. Selama tahun 2020, Komisi Perlindungan Anak Indonesia (KPAI) mencatat ada sebanyak 6.519 kekerasan terhadap anak. Bidang Keluarga dan Pengasuhan Alternatif terkait dengan kasus Anak Korban Pengasuhan Bermasalah atau Konflik Orangtua merupakan kasus perlindungan anak yang paling banyak di laporkan yaitu sebanyak 1.622 kasus. Orangtua atau keluarga merupakan lingkungan pertama untuk melatih komunikasi interpersonal anak sebelum mulai berinteraksi dengan orang lain. Bila keluarga tak lagi utuh maka kini tidak lagi berkontribusi secara maksimal dalam pembentukan dan pengembangan kemampuan komunikasi interpersonal anak. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode fenomenologi, melalui pendekatan kualitatif dan dikaji dengan teori Interaksional Simbolik oleh Herbert Blumer. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa Komunikasi dan Hubungan saling berkaitan. Komunikasi adalah jantung dari sebuah hubungan personal. Keberlangsungan sebuah hubungan personal tergantung dari kemampuan seseorang dalam melakukan komunikasi yang efektif. Komunikasi yang baik akan menciptakan hubungan yang baik. Namun, kasus-kasus terhadap anak seakan tiada henti menghiasi siklus kehidupan. Selama tahun 2020, Komisi Perlindungan Anak Indonesia (KPAI) mencatat ada sebanyak 6.519 kekerasan terhadap anak. Bidang Keluarga dan Pengasuhan Alternatif terkait dengan kasus Anak Korban Pengasuhan Bermasalah atau Konflik Orangtua merupakan kasus perlindungan anak yang paling banyak di laporkan yaitu sebanyak 1.622 kasus. Orangtua atau keluarga merupakan lingkungan pertama untuk melatih komunikasi interpersonal anak sebelum mulai berinteraksi dengan orang lain. Bila keluarga tak lagi utuh maka kini tidak lagi berkontribusi secara maksimal dalam pembentukan dan pengembangan kemampuan komunikasi interpersonal anak. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode fenomenologi, melalui pendekatan kualitatif dan dikaji dengan teori Interaksional Simbolik oleh Herbert Blumer. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa Komunikasi dan Hubungan saling berkaitan. Komunikasi adalah jantung dari sebuah hubungan personal. Keberlangsungan sebuah hubungan personal tergantung dari kemampuan seseorang dalam melakukan komunikasi yang efektif. Komunikasi yang baik akan menciptakan hubungan yang baik. This research wants to prove that communication with community radio media has an important place to gain space in the hearts of the community in an effort to broadcast Islamic da'wah. It turns out that according to the theory used in this study, the application of bottom-up da'wah is able to practice sunnah Islamic values in the family environment, the community around the Rodja radio location. The presence of this radio is able to foster religious awareness, become a source of knowledge for mankind in general and especially for Muslims.If media such as radio and television are used to advocate and educate people in the way of Allah SWT, it will benefit people wherever they are, but for non-Muslims, a complete understanding of Islam.This research is a type of field research, using qualitative methods, with a philosophical and historical approach. The main source of this message is data related to its role and radio Rodja's religious activities. Besides that, it is also supported by previous research data which is complemented by books, magazines, and related documents. This data was collected through interviews, documents, notes, and social, psychological and communication uses.

The increasing number of People with Mental Disorders during the Covid-19 pandemic was due to a lot of pressure from outside and inside, including genetic, environmental, and psychological factors. What makes people most depressed during a pandemic is environmental factors because the economy is declining, and losing their jobs causes people to be stressed and ultimately depressed. This research aims to discover, analyze, and explore the Therapeutic Communication of Kiai and Mental Cadre as a Media for Mental Health Resilience for People with Mental Disorders during the Covid-19 Pandemic Period. This research method is descriptive qualitative with a single instrumental case study approach. The research subjects are Kiai and mental cadres. The object of the research is the therapeutic communication of Kiai and mental cadres as a medium for mental health resilience for People with Mental Disorders during the Covid-19 pandemic. Using purposive sampling, the informants were selected according to the research objectives. Data collection techniques use interviews, observation, documentation, audio-visual materials, and literature review. The data analysis technique uses data reduction, data display, and concluding. The data validity technique uses source triangulation, method triangulation, and member checks. The research location is in Bangkalan, the Bani Amrini mental institution. The research results are that in the resilience of People with Mental Disorders during this pandemic, Kiai and mental cadres use therapeutic communication, including communication-based on Islamic religious therapy, therapeutic communication based on work activities, daily communication-based therapeutic communication, and hydro- or water-based therapeutic communication. The theory used in analyzing the results of this research is George Herbert Mead's Symbolic Interaction Theory with the concepts of Mind, self, and society.

Social media’s influence on purchasing decisions is on the radar of a multitude of industries worldwide and the tourism industry is no exception. Social media today is become a tool for countries in the world to promote tourism in their countries. Nation branding is a method for countries to differentiate and distinguish themselves from other countries around the world through branding. This phenomenon allowing countries to compete with each other to attract tourist from all over the world. Thus, every country needs special identity and uniqueness that differ a country from another. Indonesia is one of many countries that have been started a nation branding campaign that called ‘Wonderful Indonesia’ in 2011. Head of Ministry of Tourism of Republic Indonesia Arief Yahya stated that, in 2020 Indonesia have targeted 20 million of foreign tourists to come to Indonesia with a projected foreign exchange earnings of 18.5 billion USD (kemenpar.go.id). This study found that Wonderful Indonesia Campaign has been communicated through digital media (Website, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube). This study describes the channels that were utilized to promote the campaign and gives inputs to optimize the technical and content used in the campaign media.
