Intertextuality in The Two Noble Kinsmen 《两个贵族亲属》中的互文性

The central plot of Fletcher and Shakespeare's play The Two Noble Kinsmen derives from Chaucer's The Knight's Tale, so it could be interpreted through the theory of intertextuality and transtextuality. The prototext of these literary works is identical, but it has been modified over the centuries. It has changed from a mythological story into a universal symbol of love, friendship, authority, honor, and death. Apart from the permutation of texts by different authors, The Two Noble Kinsmen is also a curious collection of Shakespeare's earlier works, despite the frequent contestation of his contribution to this play. Such self-citation is an interesting phenomenon, especially if we consider the fact that this play is Shakespeare's last work and not The Tempest, as traditionally stated in literary histories. Therefore, this paper aims to determine the similarities and differences between Chaucer's famous story and Fletcher and Shakespeare's play, to point out the degree of intertextuality in it, and to highlight the original dramatic episodes and characters, their function, meaning, and significance. With the assumption that Fletcher and Shakespeare intentionally and purposefully chose the mode of adaptation and transformation of the famous Chaucer's text, the obtained results indicate that certain elements were modified due to the requirements of the dramatic form and its theatrical function, but also for commercial and socio-political reasons. The transposition of the well-known ancient story into Renaissance England, with new episodes and characters in the subplot, offers a different and somewhat subversive picture of conventional social norms and relations.

Visit of King Peter I Karađorđević to Constantinople in 1910 1910年,国王彼得一世Karađorđević访问君士坦丁堡

The visit of King Petar I Karađorđević to the Turkish sultan is one of the eight visits in modern Serbian history. Seven meetings of Serbian rulers with sultans took place in Constantinople, except for one that took place in Bulgaria. In the visits made before 1878, the Serbian rulers went as vassals. The meeting between the Serbian king and Sultan Mehmed V Rešad in 1910 was the third in a row since Serbia became an independent state. King Petar I Karađorđević spent the second half of March and the first half of April 1910 travelling. First, he visited Russia, then Constantinople, Mount Athos, and finally Thessaloniki. The trip lasted a little over 24 days, six of which he spent in Constantinople. The Serbian delegation led by the king was warmly received by the sultan, the common people, and the Christian population living in the Turkish capital. Upon their return, the members of the delegation were convinced that Turkey would remain on the path of improving Serbian-Turkish relations, friendly agreement, and strengthening of economic relations. This intention was highlighted in the official statement of the Porte published on the occasion of the visit of the Serbian king. In the announcement, it was expressly emphasized that a complete agreement was reached at the conferences of the foreign ministers of the two countries and that the Turkish side will grant Serbian wishes for strengthening economic and trade relations. It was of great importance for the Kingdom of Serbia to remove the obstacles that existed until that time regarding the construction of the Adriatic railway. In addition, practical results were achieved because Turkish officials expressed their readiness for the greatest possible benefits that would contribute to the export of Serbian goods through Thessaloniki. The visit to Constantinople brought success in the issues regarding religion as well, because after four years of resistance, the Patriarchate and the Synod, just before the king's arrival, accepted the election of the Serb Varnava Rosić as bishop of the Veles-Debar eparchy. The meeting of the two rulers received great attention in the diplomatic circles of European countries, especially Austria-Hungary. The relations between Serbia and the Ottoman Empire, apart from the economic aspect, soon fell into the shadows due to the Albanian riots and rebellions that engulfed the entire Kosovo vilayet. In that case too, the Serbian state tried not to interfere in Turkey's internal affairs.

Stylistic and linguistic characteristics of the Memoirs by Milan Petrović 米兰·彼得洛维奇《回忆录》的文体和语言特征

The paper highlights and describes the characteristic linguistic and stylistic features of Milan Petrović's memoirs. The aim of the paper is to single out and describe the basic linguistic and stylistic features of the language by applying grammatical and linguistic criteria and methods. Given that it is a memoir, we tried to determine whether elements of a literary-artistic or scientific functional style prevail in the book. Eight memoir texts by this author are included in the analysis. The conducted analysis of Milan Petrović's style and language in his book suggests several important conclusions. His style is simple, the sentence is narrative, never structurally complicated, with a small number of clauses in its composition. It is an essayistic-scientific style, with many literary touches, with conscious literarization, carried out with the aim of achieving greater beauty of the language. In addition to all this, in the language of Milan Petrović we also find purely scientific linguistic features, such as decomposed predicates, the frequent use of adverbs, as well as the author's 'we', and many historical facts. As for the grammatical features, his language does not differ much from the modern Serbian language. Given that Milan Petrović lived and worked in the area of the Šumadija-Vojvodina dialect, which became the basis of the standard Serbian language, there are very few deviations from the norm in his language. On the other hand, the narration, as well as all the linguistic features underlying his memoirs, represent their most immanent characteristic. That is why we cannot view his memoirs exclusively as a scientific-historical text, but as a literary text, which also contains certain scientific elements.

It is quite certain that the visible frescoes in the exonarthex of the Gračanica Monastery outer narthex do not come from the same period, so their chronological separation and more precise dating are complex. If it is taken into account that it was built in the early thirties of the 14th century, the outer vestibule have been painted after 1330, but those frescoes are not visible today. It was repainted later, during the time of Metropolitan Nicanor around 1530. The scene of the Baptism of Christ (Mt. 3: 13-17, Mk. 1: 9-11, Lk. 3: 21-22, Jn. 1: 29-34) belongs to the time of the Metropolitan Nicanor, and it is located on the eastern wall of the outer chancel, south of the southeastern pilaster. The iconographic analysis of this scene provides an insight into the wide theological education of the painters, as well as a sense of narrative and primarily adherence to good models from the Paleology era. The style of the Gračanica Monastery frescoes, which belong to the period around 1530, was adapted to the program based on tradition. The developed scene of the Baptism of Christ, inspired by the highest role models, emphasizes confidence in composition and performance, expert drawing and fine modelling in combination with an illuminated palette.

Pre-election campaign in the radio and TV programme in the Romanian language of the Public Service of Vojvodina 在伏伊伏丁那公共服务处的罗马尼亚语广播和电视节目中进行选举前的宣传活动

The aim of this paper is to investigate the way in which the pre-election campaign is reported in the radio and TV programme in the Romanian language of the Public Service of Vojvodina. In that sense, articles on this topic were analysed in 14 radio and 14 TV central informative programmes broadcasted in March 2022. For the purposes of the research, a quantitative-qualitative method of media discourse content analysis and a comparative method were used, also a code sheet was compiled including the following categories: date, medium, duration of the radio and TV report, publication of the article (in the pre-election block or outside the block), topic, authorship, genre, audio-visual equipment, reporting occasion, location, subject, personalization of the subject, party affiliation of the subject, party name of the subject if it is a party person, object, personalization of the object, party affiliation of the object, party name of the object if it is a party person, the relation of the subject to the object, the way of advertising in the campaign, notes. The analysis of the results showed that despite the tendency of journalists to inform the audience about the activities of political parties in a timely manner, this was done through simple forms, most often news, without a critical approach. Furthermore, most of the space was given to the pre-election campaign in Belgrade and other places in Serbia, ignoring Novi Sad and Vojvodina, as well as places with Romanian population. The analysed articles most often report on current events, with an emphasis on the activities of Republic officials and candidates in the presidential elections. In addition, the most represented politician is Aleksandar Vučić and the SNS political party. Therefore, we cannot consider this an example of good practice because the Public Service must be in the service of the citizens who establish and finance it, not only one party. Still, we commend the effort to report on the campaign within the electoral bloc, thus preventing abuse of office and preventing officials from being advertised from positions of power.

Roman roads and their significance for the economic growth of the south of Upper Moesia 罗马道路及其对上摩西亚南部经济增长的意义

The paper presents data that point to the routes of side roads (viae vicinales), less significant in terms of their construction, but, economically, highly important for the development of mining, trade, and craftsmanship in the south of Upper Moesia. Their significance is mirrored in the fact that they connected settlements or mining centres in the heartland of the province of Upper Moesia with superior main roads (previously mentioned) that criss-crossed Kosovo and Metohija (Naissus - Lissus, Narona - municipium DD - Scupi). The preserved fragments as well as the remains of large numbers of settlements outside of the area of main roads point out to their existence. In order to determine routes and study the road networks in Dardania, we used written ancient sources, itineraries and cartographic guides as well as few road remains and milestones from the territory. After using material evidence, the picture presenting the regional Roman road and newfound routes in the south of Upper Moesia is more reliable, i.e. new options for completely new interpretations relevant for the aforementioned problem can be suggested. The prevalent scientific method is based on historic sources and archeological and epighraph data from the territory.

Museum in crisis: The past on sale 危机中的博物馆:出售过去

The paper focuses on the critical analysis of structural and value deficiencies of the museum scene in Serbia evident in the transfer of the elements of strategic and legislation documents when applied to practical solutions. The position from which the deficiencies are observed is in the current ICOM Strategic plan and its motto "Independence, integrity, professionalism". These three components of museum work represent the backbone of the musealisation process if it is considered as an activity of museum experts. The paper is structured in the way that follows strategic and legislation documents that are partially or in full considering the museum work in Serbia, and particularly in the segments of decision making. Deficiencies are vertically deliberated-from the concepts in (unacknowledged) the Strategy of Culture Development in Serbia, via in effect the Act on Culture and the Act on Museums to the resulted system of governance and management and, finally, insufficiently developed system of valorisation of basic museum expertise and professional promotion. Through these instances one can observe limitations and inabilities of this socially responsible activity-care for collective memory-to reach its full estimated potential. The reason is easier to verbalize then to argue-almost complete political influence on governance and management of museum institutions followed by incompetence and/or lack of (political) will of decision makers to structure the filed according to contemporary principals of the profession.

This paper aims at exploring and analysing the presence and significance of images of light and darkness as symbolic elements in the short story collection In Our Time by Ernest Hemingway. Many renowned writers incorporate such images into their works, often representing them as distinct polarities or as a unified entity. Given the fact that Hemingway's often omitted elements of the narrative are prone to analysis due to their significance, the main aim of this paper would be to examine what these symbolic elements might be an indication of. By relying on the theory of conceptual metaphor and Jung's coniunctio oppositorum, or the union of opposites, abstract oppositions such as emotions surrounding birth and death, fear and consolation, the fundamental misunderstanding between various married or unmarried couples within these short stories will be analysed within the mentioned framework. Thus, the paper provides an exploration of these notions and sheds light on Hemingway's portrayal of the stereotypical dark/light opposition, as well as the coexistence of these opposing elements within the inner and outer worlds of his characters. Hence, the main conclusions which can be drawn from the analysis include the perspective from which the author creates images of light and darkness in order to draw attention to emotions such as fear or consolation corresponding to the common perception of these images. Nonetheless, depending on the context within different narratives, the author also manipulates the common perception, thus creating the reverse symbolisation. By presenting both of these images, examining their contrast, relatedness, as well as the necessity of their existence, Ernest Hemingway creates a unique short story collection, thus supporting the claim that his narratives can be repeatedly and inexhaustibly reread and reanalysed.

Uzrečice su karakteristične za srpski kulturološki kod i nacionalno biće, a Njegoš ih bogato koristi u Šćepanu Malom. Ruski prevod upečatljivo pokazuje diferencijaciju zastupljenosti navedenog žanra u jezičkoj slici sveta i frazeološkom fondu dvaju slovenskih jezika.
