Kiai is a role model who has an important role in society. Apart from being an example, the kiai's gait is seen in maintaining the values of learning Islamic Religious Education in every corner of the village called Langghar, with enthusiasm and consistency (istiqomah) in explaining the Islamic education system starting from teaching materials, methods and evaluations created for generations. successor of the nation who not only knows about Islam but is also directed to practice. Second, in the teaching and learning process the kiai still use the sorogan, bandongan, memorization and lecture methods. This method is considered still effective in maintaining the values of Islamic Religious Education (PAI). In terms of social legality, there is recognition, especially in the villages, that the kiai has a role as the founder and manager of a non-formal educational institution, namely Langghar, which is based on the kiai's personal experience while studying and gaining knowledge in a pesantren.

Pendidikan Islam Multikultural adalah model pendidikan yang dipercaya menjadi sarana efektif dalam menanamkan nilai multi kultur kepada peserta didik sehingga ia diharapkan dapat menerima dan meghormati segala macam perbedaan yang ada sebagai suatu keniscayaan dan sunnatullah. Azyumardi Azra merupakan sosok pembaharu dalam dunia pendidikan Indonesia yang concern dalam diskusi-diskusi tentang pluralisme, dan multikultural sehingga pemikiran-pemikirannya menganai model pendidikan Islam multikultural sangat penting untuk dikaji. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan Pendidikan Islam Multikultural dalam prespektif Azyumardi Azra. Ada 2 fokus kajian dalam penelitian ini meliputi; Pertama, konsep Pendidikan Islam Multikultural dalam prespektif Azyumardi Azra. Kedua, nilai-nilai Pendidikan Islam Multikultural dalam prespektif Azyumardi Azra. Pendekatan penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dan termasuk jenis penelitian studi pustaka, yang memerlukan olahan kebermaknaan secara filosofis, teoritis yang terkait dengan nilai. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa; Pertama, Pendidikan Islam Multikultural dalam prespektif Azyumardi Azra berorientasi kepada pembentukan manusia yang beriman, bertaqwa, menjadi ahli-ahli yang kompeten, menerima terhadap keragaman budaya yang ada dalam merespons perubahan demografi dan kultur lingkungan masyarakat. Tujuan kurikulum Pendidikan Islam multikultural diarahkan kepada pembentukan manusia yang memiliki wawansan Islam wasathiyah. Konten kurikulum Pendidikan Islam multikultural harus berisikan; 1) memiliki unsur kearifan dengan menuai kedamaian. 2) mampu menarasikan aspek kebangsaan. 3) mencangkup subjek multikultural seperti; toleransi, ethno kultual, agama, mediasi, HAM, demokrasi dan pluralitas. Metode yang relevan adalah dengan active learning. Sedangkan urgensinya adalah sebagai langkah yang strategis untuk menanggulangi fenomena eksterimisme dan radkalisme. Kebanyakan penelitian tentang literasi terfokus pada lembaga pendidikan formal seperti sekolah atau perguruan tinggi. Tidak banyak penelitian yang membahas terkait budaya literasi di lembaga pesantren. Dan sejauh ini, masih belum ada penelitian yang membahas terkait evaluasi budaya literasi di pesantren menggunakan Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA). Oleh sebab itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis signifikansi dan relevansi metode PISA sebagai alat penilai budaya literasi di pesantren. Melalui studi pustaka - dengan sumber-sumber terkini yang relevan - penelitian ini menemukan bahwa, budaya literasi di pesantren telah mengakar dalam sejarah penyebaran Islam di Indonesia. Namun, hal ini jarang diteliti karena term literasi kerap diidentikkan dengan pendidikan di lembaga pendidikan umum. Untuk menilai kentalnya budaya literasi di pesantren, metode PISA paling komprehensif dan ketat untuk menilai kinerja, menterjemahkan, mengambil sampel dan mengumpulkan data tentang santri, keluarga, dan faktor kelembagaan yang dapat membantu menjelaskan perbedaan kinerja dan keterampilan literasi mereka. Penulis berargumen bahwa PISA memiliki relevansi untuk menilai budaya literasi di pesantren. Dalam hal ini, domain literasi membaca dalam PISA dapat dijadikan istrumen penilaian budaya iqra’, hifdz, bandongan, sorogan, mushawarah, muthala’ah, bahtsul masail dan lain sebagainya. Penelitian ini dapat dijadikan penegas bahwa begitu kentalnya budaya literasi di pesantren yang selama ini kerap luput dari perhatian.

Zakat Institution Infaq and Shadaqah Muhammadiyah Sorong regency is a zakat institution or zakat collecting institution that serves in community empowerment activities through productive utilization of zakat funds, infaq, wakaf and other generosity. One of its flagship programs is the construction of the Abun Tribe of Sorong Regency. The construction of the Abun tribe continues as a form of Lazismu's concern for vulnerable groups (muallaf). The purpose of this research is to describe the contribution that lazismu has made in the development of muallaf Abun tribe of Sorong district. This research includes descriptive-qualitative research data excavated using observation techniques, interviews and documentation. After the data collected, qualitative data analysis is carried out using Miles and Huberman analysis. The results showed that: Muhammadiyah da'i program, social service activities: Eid al-Qurban activities, spraying disinfectant during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Dalam konteks pendidikan tujuan pendidikan diarahkan mampu untuk menghasilkan lulusan akademik yang profesional guna pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan serta peningkatan taraf hidup masyarakat. Pandangan masyarakat dalam memandang fungsi pendidikan pesantren sebagai lembaga pendidikan kedua, namun profil dari alumni pesantren dan kiprahnya dalam berbagai bidang kepemimpinan di masyarakat membuktikan bahwa pendidikan pesantren banyak memberikan kontribusi dalam pembangunan bangsa. Masyarakat mulai percaya bahwa pesantren sebagai lembaga tidak hanya sebagai pendidikan alternatif melainkan juga sebagai lembaga pendidikan utama untuk menghasilkan sumber daya manusia (SDM) yang baik dalam menghadapi bonus demografi ke depan, Bonus demografi merupakan peluang bagi Indonesia tetapi kalau tidak dipersiapkan dengan baik bisa menjadi tantangan bagi Indonesia. Jika seorang pemimpin dan semua elemen pemerintah mampu mempersiapkan tenaga kerja yang profesional dan mampu membuka lapangan kerja untuk menyerap seluruh angkatan kerja yang tersedia. Namun sebalikanya jika pemerintah tidak mampu melakukannya yang terjadi di Indonesia adalah negara yang banjir pengangguran di masa depan. Tantangan terbesar dalam mempersiapkan bonus demografi adalah bagaimana pemimpin dan seluruh jajarannya mampu mengelola penduduk berusia produktif yang begitu banyak agar produktif dari berbagai bidang. Karena apabila hanya produktif dari segi usia saja tapi tidak produktif dalam segi ekonomi, pendidikan dan sebagainya justru akan menjadi petaka bagi negara. Selain menyebabkan angka pengangguran yang melonjak hal ini juga akan berdampak negatif bagi kehidupan sosial. This research raises democratization of Islamic education through application of Islamic Education Institution Management, SBM as a tool for educational institution to realize democratic Islamic education. Law No. 20 of 2003 concerning National Education System and quality assurance through 2005 Law on National Education Standard which all demonstrate the democratization of education. This study uses a qualitative approach by describing application of School-Based Management in Islamic educational institution, and analyzing that application of School-Based Management is a way of realizing democratic Madrasah. The results of the study showed that the reference of implementation of SBM in Madrasah starts from Law no. 2 of 1989, No. 20 of 2003, PP No. 19 of 2005 and PP No. 55 of 2007. The strategy of SBM implementation is autonomy, empowerment, independence and flexibility. While the stages of its implementation are by way of socialization, formulation of vision and mission goals, identification of challenges, identification of functions, SWOT analysis, alternative solutions, quality improvement plan, implementation of quality improvement, and evaluation and monitoring. Implementation of School-Based Management strongly shows the existence of democratization in education, this is reflected in principles of a democratic form of Islamic education including respect for the potential of Madrasah, dynamic curriculum and the creation of synchronization of educational institutions with community as customer.

Law No. 20 of 2003 concerning National Education System and quality assurance through 2005 Law on National Education Standard which all demonstrate the democratization of education. This study uses a qualitative approach by describing application of School-Based Management in Islamic educational institution, and analyzing that application of School-Based Management is a way of realizing democratic Madrasah. The results of the study showed that the reference of implementation of SBM in Madrasah starts from Law no. 2 of 1989, No. 20 of 2003, PP No. 19 of 2005 and PP No. 55 of 2007. The strategy of SBM implementation is autonomy, empowerment, independence and flexibility. While the stages of its implementation are by way of socialization, formulation of vision and mission goals, identification of challenges, identification of functions, SWOT analysis, alternative solutions, quality improvement plan, implementation of quality improvement, and evaluation and monitoring. The problem in this study will reveal the application of active and creative learning methods at Madrasah Aliyah Darul Ulum Banyuanyar Palengaan Pamekasan, this study aims to describe the learning methods applied in Madrasah Aliyah Darul Ulum Banyuanyar. and using descriptive qualitative method with primary data collection through interviews and observations while secondary data obtained through documentation. The results of the study indicate that the application of learning methods in Madrasas has not been effective because they still use conventional methods such as the lecture method, discussion method, and demonstration method. It is necessary to develop a variety of learning methods so that the learning process becomes active and creative

One of the dimensions of multicultural education is the dimension of Equity Pedagogy or justice and equality in receiving learning. The educational culture of Islamic boarding schools that is centralized to Kyai poses a challenge to how pesantren provide equity education services to students through the learning system in it. This study aims to identify the value of equity pedagogy in the type of traditional pesantren (salaf) with a phenomenological approach, the results of this study indicate that the Banyuanyar pesantren has a culture of Equity Pedagogy values such as equity in Kyai policies, equity in Nyabis culture, equity in Discipline culture, equity in living culture mutual tolerance (mutual tolerance). equity in the culture of living together (help each other). equity in the culture of living tawashi (reminding each other). This study aims to reveal findings about the exploration and internalization of religious character values based on local wisdom at MTs Baiturrahman Pamekasan. This type of research is qualitative with a case study approach; data mining is done through observation, interviews, and FGDs as well as relevant documents. The research data are then analyzed by organizing, sorting, grouping, coding, and categorizing the data. The results showed that the exploration of religious character values based on local wisdom consisted of three value clusters, spiritual, ukhuwah Islamiyah, and nationality which were then internalized through dluha prayer activities, reading short suras, exemplary, habituation, giving advice, discipline, scouting. sports, traveling tadarus, and learning strategies. The value exploration and internalization process were then constructed into a new model, namely; holistic spiritual model, integrative learning model and religious social model.
