Application of micro-lecture combined with Simbaby teaching model in neonatal practical teaching 微课堂结合Simbaby教学模式在新生儿实践教学中的应用

Objective To investigate the effect of Micro-lecture combined with Simbaby teaching model in the practical teaching of neonatology for undergraduates. Methods A total of 160 five-year medical undergraduates from grade 2013 to grade 2015 were divided into group A (the control group) and group B (the experimental group), with 40 male students and 40 female students in each group. Students in group B received Micro-lecture combined with Simbaby teaching model, while students in group A received traditional teaching method. In group A, teachers adopted traditional teaching method with the use of common teaching models, then students practiced on these models following the demonstrations from teachers. In group B, students previewed the contents before class in micro-lecture, then teachers made Simbaby to be used as case models and explained to the students as how to use the model in actual class. Students made diagnosis and gave treatment to the Simbaby after physical examination. At last, teaching effects were evaluated by questionnaire survey and theoretical test. The SPSS 24.0 was used to conduct t-test and chi square test. Results The average scores of theoretical test (88.40±9.40) and skill test in group B (79.53±8.84) were significantly higher than those in group A (84.86±9.50) and (72.35±9.70), with statistically significant differences (P 0.05). Conclusion Micro-lecture combined with Simbaby teaching model can help students comprehend the basic theories of neonatal disease and improve their clinical operation skills, self-learning ability and clinical thinking ability, which is worth to be promoted in neonatal clinical teaching. 目的探讨微课结合Simbaby教学模式在本科新生科学实践教学中的效果。方法将2013 ~ 2015级医学五年制本科生160名分为A组(对照组)和B组(实验组),每组男40名,女40名。B组学生采用微讲座结合Simbaby教学模式,A组学生采用传统教学方式。在A组,教师采用传统的教学方法,使用常用的教学模式,学生在教师的示范下进行练习。在B组,学生在课前通过微讲座预习内容,然后老师制作Simbaby作为案例模型,并向学生讲解如何在实际课堂中使用该模型。学生在体检后对Simbaby进行诊断和治疗。最后通过问卷调查和理论检验对教学效果进行评价。采用SPSS 24.0进行t检验和卡方检验。结果B组患者理论测验平均得分(88.40±9.40)分、技能测验平均得分(79.53±8.84)分显著高于A组(84.86±9.50)分和A组(72.35±9.70)分,差异有统计学意义(P 0.05)。结论微讲座结合Simbaby教学模式能帮助学生理解新生儿疾病的基本理论,提高学生的临床操作技能、自主学习能力和临床思维能力,在新生儿临床教学中值得推广。关键词:微讲座;Simbaby;新生儿;临床教学

Improvement of education for clinical nutrition interns based on Joint Commission International standards 基于联合委员会国际标准的临床营养实习生教育改进

Huashan Hospital became the first Academic Medical Center Hospital accredited by Joint Commission International (JCI) in 2013. The Department of Clinical Nutrition has constantly improved internship education through the introduction of JCI standards. Based on the flexible combination of teaching and practicing modules, clinical nutrition knowledge is closely integrated with professional dietitian skills, and in-depth practical training helps students to acquire much more experience of the occupation as a dietitian. Teachers think highly of students' initiative and knowledge conversion ability, and in the recent five years, undergraduate projects have been enhanced in both quantity and quality. Application of an imaging data management system in the teaching of ophthalmology 影像资料管理系统在眼科教学中的应用

The application of a specialized imaging data management system in ophthalmology not only improves clinical diagnosis and treatment, but also brings change to the traditional teaching of ophthalmology. Department of Ophthalmology in Beijing Tongren Hospital Affiliated to Capital Medical University applied the FORUM (Carl Zeiss, FORUM V4.0, Germany) imaging data management system in clinical practice and postgraduate teaching of ophthalmology. The imaging data management system can obtain the primary imaging data of patients and the data can be accessed at any time, which brings great convenience for teachers to show the cases. The imaging data management system can help clinical teachers to improve the teaching effect of direct teaching and cultivate students' clinical thinking to carry out case discussion, and it can also help to cultivate scientific thinking of postgraduates. Practice in cultivating the scientific research quality of medical undergraduates 培养医学本科生科研素质的实践

This paper aimed at exploring methods and their effectiveness of cultivating the scientific research quality in medical undergraduates in the early stage of. In combination with teachers' scientific research projects, 3 to 5 medical undergraduates in 3rd grade who applied for the projects initiatively were selected every year to enter into different research groups in the department. According to students' wishes, they may participate in some experiments in scientific research projects, or complete small projects independently, or write a review on a certain topic under teachers' guidance. In the past 10 years, 25 students participated in the program of our section and published 19 papers in total. Most students who participated in the experimental research program were able to carry out some scientific experiments independently with improved scientific research ability and practical ability. Students who wrote reviews not only broadened their knowledge, but also developed the skills of literature search, reading, comprehensive writing and critical thinking. Therefore, it was concluded that the cultivation of scientific research quality in students in the early stage could motivate students to actively participate in scientific research; both scientific experiments and themed reviews could enhance the scientific research ability and scientific research quality of undergraduates from different angles. Application of simulation teaching on experimental teaching of Basic Nursing 模拟教学在《基础护理》实验教学中的应用

Objective To investigate the effect of simulation based medical education (SBME) on the experimental teaching of Basic Nursing. Methods A total of 61 four-year undergraduate nursing students in 2015 batch (classic teaching group) and 66 four-year undergraduate nursing students in 2016 batch (simulation teaching group) were selected. Six experiments (aseptic technique, vital sign measurement, nasal feeding, catheterization, intramuscular injection and intravenous infusion) were selected in the SBME group as carrier experiment for scenario simulation teaching. After the end of the teaching, the teaching results were evaluated by questionnaire survey, theoretical knowledge assessment, experimental operation assessment and direct observation of procedural skills. SPSS 19.0 was used to perform the t-test. Results Examination results showed that the good rate and excellent rate in students of 2016 batch were 71.21% and 16.67%, respectively; the good and excellent rate in students of 2015 batch were 55.71% and 1.43%, respectively; theoretical and operational scores in students of 2016 batch were significantly higher than those in students of 2015 batch (P<0.05). According to the questionnaire, 91.0% students in the simulation teaching group believed that the simulation teaching was beneficial to auxiliary learning, 75.8% liked simulation teaching, and 83.3% thought that simulation teaching was able to stimulate their interest in learning; among teachers, 78.94% believed that this method could improve students' ability to analyze and solve problems, 84.21% thought that this method could stimulate students' interest in learning, and 89.48% considered that this method could make students listen carefully. Conclusion Applying the simulation teaching to the experiment teaching of Basic Nursing can effectively improve the teaching quality and teaching effect. Construction of evaluation system on integrated experiment course 综合实验课程评价体系的构建

Integrated experiment course is beneficial to optimizing the whole structure of medical courses and plays an important role in improving medical students' comprehensive quality and innovation capability. After several years of reform and exploration, Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine has developed the medical functional integrated experiment course with concept of "strengthen quality, reinforce foundation, encourage innovation and provide professional service", established a diversified evaluation system, and developed a corresponding assessment scale for reviewing students' comprehensive ability and the quality of experiment teaching. This paper investigated and prospected how to construct and optimize this evaluation system from the aspects of the relationship between evaluation method and course structure, and their effects, so as to provide strategic guidance for the further development of integrated experiment course. After several years of reform and exploration, Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine has developed the medical functional integrated experiment course with concept of \"strengthen quality, reinforce foundation, encourage innovation and provide professional service\", established a diversified evaluation system, and developed a corresponding assessment scale for reviewing students' comprehensive ability and the quality of experiment teaching. Optimization and innovation of practice teaching and evaluation model of contact lens course 隐形眼镜课程实践教学与评价模式的优化与创新

At present, the contents and class hours of contact lens course cannot meet the teaching and clinical requirements. Therefore, the curriculum of contact lens on practical operation was optimized, the number of practice hours was increased, and various models for practice course were applied, including problem-based learning, community practice course, and practice enhancement course, to improve students' learning interest and initiative. A variety of evaluation models were used to help teachers understand the performances of their students and make adjustments in the process of teaching and evaluation, so as to improve students' score of practical test, help them better master the practical skills and enter clinical practice without difficulties. The feedback scores of teachers in clinical practice have also been improved compared with the former ones. Key words: Contact lens course; Practice teaching; Education reform
目前,隐形眼镜课程的内容和课时还不能满足教学和临床的需要。为此,优化隐形眼镜实操课程,增加实操课时,运用问题型学习、社区实操课程、实操强化课程等多种实操课程模式,提高学生的学习兴趣和主动性。运用多种评价模型,帮助教师了解学生的表现,并在教学和评价过程中进行调整,从而提高学生的实践测试成绩,帮助学生更好地掌握实践技能,顺利进入临床实习。教师在临床实践中的反馈得分也较以往有所提高。关键词:隐形眼镜课程;实践教学;教育改革

Design and practice of military English audiovisual course based on production-oriented approach and small private online course 基于生产导向和小型私人网络课程的军事英语视听课程设计与实践

This study selected the military English listening course that combined the production-oriented approach (POA) with small-scale online course, that is, it was guided by POA, combined advantages of online and offline hybrid learning, and completed with three stages of driving, promoting and evaluating. After a semester of experiment, the authors found that the curriculum research effectively integrated the language and subject content of military English. A multi-dimensional and multi-layered learning network was formed among students and their critical thinking ability was enhanced through cooperative learning. After studying students' reflection reports and teachers' reflection on action research, the researchers found the students' gains and problems in the course and gave advice on the practical application of the theory. Final examination paper analysis of Surgery and Field Surgery in five-year students from comprehensive class of Grade 2014 2014级综合班五年制学生外科与野战期末试卷分析

Objective To analyze the quality of final exam papers of Surgery and Field Surgery for five-year medical students from comprehensive class of Grade 2014, so as to check the mastery of different students, perfect the construction of item banking, verify the quality of teaching and learning, and thus provide references to further teaching reform. Methods SPSS 21.0 was used for statistical analysis of 133 Surgery and Field Surgery papers of students from comprehensive class of Grade 2014. Results The highest score was 93.5, the lowest score was 52.0, and the average score was (70.60±9.00). Among those 133 students, six students were failed, occupying 4.51%. The overall difficulty coefficient of examination paper (P) was 0.71, and P value of multiple choice questions and blank-filling questions was 0.4-0.7. Difference degrees (D) of question types were more than 0.600 and the overall reliability was 0.764. Scores of examination paper were generally in normal distribution. The average scores of students form anesthesiology major were higher than those of students from navigation medicine major, but the average scores of students from above two majors were higher than those of students from psychology major, with statistically significant differences (P<0.05). Conclusion Question types of this paper are comprehensive and reasonable. The overall difficulty is not high, the difference degree is good, the reliability is good and the score distribution is reasonable. However, the question should be further improved, focusing on the reasonable distribution of difficulty of question. 目的通过对2014级综合班五年制医学生《外科学》和《野战外科学》期末试卷质量的分析,检验不同专业学生的掌握情况,完善题库建设,验证教学质量,为进一步的教学改革提供参考。方法采用SPSS 21.0对2014级综合班133篇《外科学》和《野战外科》论文进行统计分析。结果133名学生中,最高分93.5分,最低分52.0分,平均分(70.60±9.00)分,不及格6名,占4.51%,试卷综合难度系数(P)为0.71,选择题和填空题的P值为0.4-0.7。题型差异度(D)大于0.600,总体信度为0.764。试卷成绩总体呈正态分布。麻醉学专业学生的平均分高于航海医学专业学生,但上述两个专业学生的得分均高于心理学专业学生,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。总体难度不高,差异程度好,可靠性好,分数分布合理。但问题还需要进一步完善,重点在于问题难度的合理分配。此外,还应加强心理学专业学生的课程教学。关键词:试卷分析;外科和野外外科;教学效果;综合类
