Numerical Modeling of Water Quality in Jiaozhou Bay, China 胶州湾水质数值模拟研究

A three-dimensional coupled physical and water quality model was developed and applied to Jiaozhou Bay to study water quality involving nutrients, biochemical oxygen demand, dissolved oxygen, and phytoplankton. The water quality model is based on WASP5 which quantifies processes governing internal nutrients cycling, dissolved oxygen balance, and phytoplankton growth. The model was used to simulate the spatial distribution and the temporal variation of water quality in Jiaozhou Bay for period of May 2005 to May 2006. The simulation result shows that under the influence of nutrients discharge from river the concentrations of nutrients and phytoplankton were higher in the northwest and northeast of the bay, and decreased from the inner bay to the outer. Obvious seasonal variation of phytoplankton biomass was found, which exhibited two peaks in March and July, respectively.

Preparation and Characterization of Fluorinated Organic/Inorganic Composite Particles 含氟有机/无机复合颗粒的制备与表征

Fluorinated organic/inorganic composite pariticles is synthesized by compounding aminosilane (N-beta-aminoethyl)-gamma-aminopropyl trimethoxy silane or N-(beta-aminoethyl)- gamma-aminopropyl methyldimethoxy silane and perfluorinated octyl sulfonic acid fluoride. The structure and properties of products are characterized by FTIR , 1 HNMR, TG/DTA, Mastersizer analysis and contact angle, the synthesized product shows good thermal resistance, and its particle size is in the micrometer- level, surface water contact angle is 116deg.
氟化有机/无机复合颗粒是由氨基硅烷(N- β -氨基乙基)- γ -氨基丙基三甲氧基硅烷或N-(β -氨基乙基)- γ -氨基丙基甲基二甲氧基硅烷与全氟辛基磺酸氟化合物复配而成。通过FTIR、1hnmr、TG/DTA、master粒度分析和接触角对产物的结构和性能进行表征,合成产物具有良好的热阻性,其粒径在微米级,表面水接触角为116°。

Three-Dimensional Virtual Surgery Based on CT Images 基于CT图像的三维虚拟手术

Virtual surgery is very important for doctors to ensure the success before real surgery. By combining VTK and ITK with MFC, three-dimensional reconstruction of sequence of medical images and virtual cutting system are achieved, and a three-dimensional virtual surgery system is developed. The system offers the function such as 3-D surface rendering, 3-D volume rendering, medical volume data segmentation, virtual surgical cutting, 3-D measurement, virtual surgical planning and so on. The system can help surgeons to observe 3-D models of human organs, parenchyma and the focus of a disease and carry out computer aided surgical. Application of Psychological Methods to Control the Physiological Functions of the Human Body and Treat Diseases 应用心理学方法控制人体生理机能和治疗疾病

Although the lungs work automatically under normal conditions, their work is under mind control when a deep breath is taken. Based on extrapolation, it can be speculated that other human organs, tissues, glands and functions may also work in two modes: automatically and under mind control. Our experimental results gave an affirmative answer to this guess. On this basis, the experiments on treatment of certain diseases in individual cases by psychological methods were conducted. The results showed that such kind of approach might show good efficacy for the treatment of many diseases such as cancer, diabetes, coronary heart disease and severe cough.

Pre-Treatment of Acrylic Fiber Wastewater by Complex Process Made Up of Internal Electrolysis and Fenton Oxidization 内电解- Fenton氧化复合工艺预处理腈纶废水

In this paper a process of combining internal electrolysis and Fenton was used to pre-treat acrylic fiber wastewater based on investigating the optimization parameters of internal electrolysis and Fenton oxidization. Four kinds of combining processes were studied. Results showed that both the processes of Fenton oxidization next to internal electrolysis and internal electrolysis coupled Fenton oxidization were efficiency. COD of the effluents from these two processes were less than 400 mg.L -1 with a COD removal of more than 70% and the ratio of BOD/COD enhancing to 0.3, CN - concentration in effluent less then 0.3 mg.L -1 , meeting bio-treatment requirement steadily. While COD and CN - concentration and biodegradability of effluents from the processes of internal electrolysis next to Fenton oxidization and both reactions in one reactor could not meet bio- treatment requirement.

Color Removal and Biodegradability Enhancement of Chemical Pretreatment Effluent of Eucalyptus Chemithermomechanical Pulp (CTMP) by Zero-Valent Iron 零价铁对桉树化学机械浆(CTMP)化学预处理出水的脱色及可生化性的提高

Deep color and high concentration of organic compounds are the important characteristics of Chemithermomechanical pulp (CTMP) effluent. The objectives of this study are to investigate the feasibility of removing the color of eucalyptus CTMP chemical pretreatment effluent with zero-valent iron (Fe (0)) and to examine the effect of Fe (0) treatment on biodegradability enhancement of the effluent. The effect of operating conditions, including pH, reaction time, cast- iron filings dosage and size range, on color removal rate was discussed. Results showed that under certain conditions, color removal rate of the effluent reached about 90%. It was also found that chemical oxygen demand (COD) and 5 day biochemical oxygen demand (BOD5) of the effluent decreased evidently after zero-valent iron treatment, and BOD5 / COD increased from 0.27 to 0.42, which indicated that biodegradability of the effluent was obviously enhanced. Based on the results, it is feasible that zero- valent iron can be used for pretreatment of CTMP effluent before biological treatment processes.

Enzyme Activity and Diversity of a Straw-Degradation Microbial Community 秸秆降解微生物群落的酶活性和多样性

A microbial community could decomposed 55.1% of rice straw in weight within 5 days, among them cellulose content decreased by 63.4% and hemicellulose content decreased by 43.9%. And the content of water soluble carbohydrates (WSC) in the fermentation broth increased progressively during the initially days, and decreased thereafter, suggesting an accumulation of WSC in the early phase of the degradation process. Furthermore the community could excrete cellulases and hemicellulase simultaneously. In order to find out the relation between multienzyme and bacterial composition of the community, the standard enzyme activity assays was used. Results showed that the cellulases and hemicellulase activity were all one trend, that all of them were all ascended expeditiously untill reached the peak, after that descended rapidly. In order to determine the bacterial composition of the community, clone library was used to clarified bacterial composition. Constructed 16S rDNA clone library showed 60% closest relative among them were known the detailed information. Some of closest relative of Clostridium and Bacteria could excrete cellulase and hemicellulase, which maight be the main reason for the community with multienzyme.

Acaricidal Activity of Methyl Palmitate to T. cinnabarinus 棕榈酸甲酯对朱砂螨的杀螨活性研究

Methyl palmitate, a kind of fatty acid methyl ester, has been found in many plants. Many biological functions of methyl palmitate have been found. Recently we isolated the methyl palmitate from the green walnuts husks and found it has acaricidal activity that had not been reported before. Here, the acaricidal activity of methyl palmitate, industrial methyl palmitate and the mixtures of methyl palmitate and Silwet L-77 were studied respectively. The results showed that the LC 50 of methyl palmitate for female mites was 1.72 mg/ml and 7.73 mg/ml for eggs. The contact toxicity of methyl palmitate on female mites is better than on eggs. Methyl palmitate also has strong repellent effect on the female mites. Then the acaricidal activity of industrial methyl palmitate was studied, and the results showed that both of the mortality and adjusted mortality of Tetranychus cinnabarinus were more than 70% when the concentration of industrial methyl palmitate was 10 mg/ml and 8 mg/ml. In order to improve the acaricidal activity of industrial methyl palmitate, Silwet L-77, a kind of silicone surfactants, was used to mix with industrial methyl palmitate to increase the permeability of industrial methyl palmitate. The female mites were treated with nine kinds of mixture of industrial methyl palmitate and Silwet L-77. The results showed that the best mixture ratio of the industrial methyl palmitate and Silwet L-77 was 8 mg/mltimes200 ppm, 5 mg/mltimes400 ppm and 8 mg/mltimes400 ppm, and all the acaricidal activity of the three mixtures were more than 90%. The mixture ratio could be used in the production of methyl palmitate acaricides.

A System Architecture for a Telematic Support System in Emergency Medical Services 紧急医疗服务中远程信息处理支持系统的体系结构

The system presented in this paper is part of the research project Medon-@ ix for the safe application of information technology in preclinical emergency health care. It aims at supporting emergency medical services (EMS) staff at the incident location from a remote Competence Centre (CompC). The increasing number of missions in the German EMS and the shortage of specialized emergency physicians leads to huge problems for the public health care system. Higher cost efficiency and treatment quality shall be achieved by the transfer of mission tactical data and medically relevant data such as vital signs, auscultation and video material from the emergency site to the CompC by the telematic support system. In this paper cases in which such a telematic support system can be used will be outlined. The crucial requirements and a possible hardware and software system architecture of a telematic support system for EMS will be summarised.

Study on the Removal of NH3-N from the Ammonia Water in AS Process Using Fine Chemicals 精细化学品去除AS法氨水中氨氮的研究

The purpose of this study was to choose a fine chemical to efficiently remove ammonia nitrogen from the ammonia water in AS Process, which provides a new available approach to treat coking wastewater. The experiment adopted "Air Stripping and Adsorption" to remove ammonia nitrogen from the ammonia water, and studied the reaction temperature T, pH, the time of stripping t, the dosage of the fine chemical, and so on. The best condition of the experiment was: T = 90degC, t = 90 min, Q = 4 L/min, M = 16 mg/L, pH = 12. In this condition the removing rate of ammonia nitrogen could reach 99.31 percent. The effluent ammonia nitrogen concentration was about 79 mg/L, which obtained a satisfied result.
