Readiness for boron neutron capture therap 硼中子俘获治疗的准备情况

A source of epithermal neutrons based on a tandem accelerator with vacuum insulation and a lithium neutron producing target was proposed and created to develop boron neutron capture therapy of malignant tumors. A laboratory was created in 2014 to be prepared for practical implementation of the therapy using the accelerator neutron source. To achieve this goal it is necessary to increase the current and the energy of the proton beam, to create a new neutron producing target, neutron beam shaping assembly and so on. The article provides a description of the created source of epithermal neutrons, presents and discusses the results of experiments and declares future plans.

Researching the possibilities of remote photoplethysmography application to analysis of time-frequency changes of human heart rate variability 研究远程光电容积脉搏波在分析人体心率变异性时频变化中的应用可能性

In the paper, possibilities of using remote photoplethysmography (rPPG) to investigation time-frequency changes of heart rate variability are discussed. The blood volume pulse rate estimated from the rPPG rhythmogram and cardiac pulse rate estimated from the electrocardiogram are compared by means of the correlation analysis. The results showed that oscillations of the rPPG rhythmogram in the very low frequency band [0.04-0.003] Hz can be used to assess functional changes of a human. For the low frequency band [0.15-0.04] Hz, the results must be verified by additional parameters such as changes of facial expression. It was concluded that the rPPG may be applied to analysis of functional reserves and adaptation level of a human.

The influence of surface alloying with tantalum or silicon on cytocompatibility of titanium nikelid 钽或硅表面合金化对镍酸钛细胞相容性的影响

The influence of physico-chemical properties of titanium nikelid with the surface layers modified with silicon or tantalum ions was studied on in vitro cultured mesenchymal stem cells of the rats' bone marrow. It was shown by the methods of laser scanning microscopy, light microscopy, MTT test that the ion-plasma modification of the titanium nikelid surface layers with silicon or tantalum ions improves the cytocompatibility of metal alloy.

This article describes the speech signal fundamental frequency evaluation algorithm in view of speech formation and speech perception features connected with human anatomy and physiology, using mathematical apparatus of singular spectrum analysis for speech signal processing, for further implementation of the speech signal fundamental frequency evaluation subsystem, designed for speech rehabilitation software calculation module for cancer patients after larynx resection, used in patients rehabilitation trainings process after their full or partial loss of sonorous speech arising from laryngectomy. The researcher's results of functional testing are described. Also the results of initial testing on a group of healthy speakers are presented.

Features of the radiophysical complex MRTHR signals in research of functional processes in the brain tissues 脑组织功能过程研究中的放射物理复合体磁共振成像信号特征

The paper presents the peculiarities of fractal signal processing for studying the role of autonomic regulation in the formation of the microwave brain radiation during the treatment process. The processing is implemented via the method of multifractal cross-correlation analysis. The accuracy of used methods is justified with model Brownian motion signals analysis. In this study we analyses data of simultaneously recorded by the Radiophysical complex MRTHR signals of the brain microwave radiation and heart rate variability for three different group of patients. The estimates of multifractal parameters for a group of relatively healthy patients have low levels of the systemic discrepancy. For the patients group with ischemic stroke before treatment, the systematic discrepancy of estimations are significantly larger than those of healthy patients. After rehabilitation course, the discrepancy between these estimates are reduced.

The comparison of automatic artifact removal methods with robust classification strategies in terms of EEG classification accuracy 自动伪迹去除方法与鲁棒分类策略在脑电分类准确率方面的比较

One of the key objectives of brain-computer interface (BCI) design is to construct accurate electroencephalogram (EEG) based classifier. But out of laboratory all EEG signals are contaminated with artifacts, which hamper algorithmic processing and EEG analysis, i.e. classifier ought to get a prediction for noisy data. Real-time BCI system rely on relatively clean EEG signals. Therefore, the exclusion of artifacts is of special interest for BCI applications in everyday life. There are two main approaches to this objective: automatic EEG artifact rejection methods (subtract the noisy component) and robust classification methods (replace sensitive to outliers estimates with robust counterparts). The goal of this work is to quantitatively compare popular automatic EEG artifact rejection approaches with robust classification methods in terms of motor imagery (MI) classification paradigm.

Application of track membranes in electrodes for electrical neurostimulation 轨道膜在神经电刺激电极中的应用

In this paper original technology of electrode production with track membrane materials for electrical neurostimulation is described. Presented results show that the technology allows one to produce conducting structures with gas-and water-permeability in places of unfilled pores by metal. The created electrodes also have antiseptic properties.
