The modeling of emergency oil spills in GIS GIS中紧急溢油事故的建模

The algorithm for calculating the parameters of the oil slick was developed based on of existing mathematical models of oil spills in water areas. The model for visualization of results of the calculation on the map and determining the area of oil pollution was built in the application Model Builder. The dependence of the simulation results on the characteristics of the oil spills and meteorological conditions was investigated.

Load balancing in cloud computing 云计算中的负载均衡

Cloud computing is the emerging internet based technology which emphasizes commercial computing. Load balancing helps in improving the performance of the centralized server. In the present work, various algorithms are analyzed using an analysis tool, namely, cloud analyst. Comparison is also made for algorithms load balancing.

Design of optimum configuration of a hybrid power system for Abertay University campus 阿伯泰大学校园混合动力系统优化配置设计

Nowadays, due to the economic and political conditions of the modern world there is a rapid development of higher education system in Scotland. This prompts the need for sustainable, green or smart developments within Universities due to the high level of energy use and the low level of campus facility operations and maintenance. Aim of this project is to recommend sustainable energy solutions for the Abertay Campus (SESAC). The paper examines the energy demand, sustainable energy solutions and design of optimum configuration of a hybrid power system for Abertay University's library building in Dundee Scotland by using various types of renewable energy systems. Different renewable power generating systems i.e., the solar PV, wind and CHP systems will be analysed in detail and sensitivity analysis of sunshine, wind speed, CHP size, and fuel prize of the proposed building area will be carried out using HOMER software to produce the final optimal results. By comparing optimisation results and taking into consideration parameters such as cost of energy (COE) and lowest total net present cost (NPC) the paper will propose suitable hybrid sustainable solutions for the university campus library building.

Practical characterisation of the piezo electric properties of a 3K T300 carbon fibre for impact sensoring 冲击传感用3K T300碳纤维压电特性的实用表征

This paper discusses the results obtained during the practical characterization of the piezo electric properties of a commonly used carbon fibre. The aim of the investigation was to prepare the grounds for the feasibility of a low cost impact sensor that could be included in any carbon fibre structure (megalithic or thin structure) without interfering the integrity of the actual structure itself. The entire measurement loop as well as the techniques of connectivity of the fibres to the loop is described within. The piezo electric effects and all factors which affect the measurements are reflected in the analysis. The results obtained shown that in normal laboratory conditions the piezo-electric response of a T300 carbon fibre is consistent and directly proportional to the impact applied to the fibre.

Modelling of a photovoltaic array using Analog System Lab Kit Pro board 利用Analog System Lab Kit Pro板对光伏阵列进行建模

This paper discusses modelling and parameters investigation of a photovoltaic array using Analog System Lab Kit Pro board offered by Texas Instrument for instructional laboratories on Electric and Electronic Engineering. The modelling of PV array is based on representation of the current-voltage characteristic by an analogue circuit developed using the components available on the Lab Kit board. The model is applicable for instructional laboratory investigation on the array current-voltage characteristic and its performance at maximum power point. This investigation expands the portfolio of the laboratory works available through Analog System Lab Kit Pro board.

The methodology of analysis of technical state assessment of circuit breakers 断路器技术状态评定的分析方法

The paper presents the methodology of technical state assessment of the circuit breakers, based on technical diagnostics data, taking into account the level of short-circuit currents in the power system. The research provides the analysis of the impact of single-phase and three-phase short-circuit currents on technical state of 110–500 kV circuit breakers. The analysis of the short circuit currents in bulk regional power system, based on technical diagnostics and operational data of the circuit breakers, was carried out as an example. In the course of the calculations, the main regularities of the influence of short-circuit currents on the technical state of the circuit breakers were revealed, taking into account the analysis of the topology of the adjacent network.

Structure of knowledge base of methods for processing hydroacoustic signals 水声信号处理方法知识库结构

The structure of the knowledge base is based on ontologies of the knowledge domain, combining methods and algorithms for processing hydroacoustic signals and video images. To create a complex of ontologies an integrated web-environment is used that combines the methods and tools of the editors WebProtégé (the environment for collaborative development of ontologies) and OntoMASTER (graphic ontology editor). In the description of ontologies, the OWL-DL language is used. The ontology of the field of knowledge «hydroacoustics» contains a formal description of the concepts of the subject domain of hydroacoustics, their definitions, examples of the use in the texts corpora of publications, lexical and semantic relations. The method of creating ontologies is based on the automated construction of thesauri and the dynamic processing of information resources with the involvement of experts. A special feature of the method is the presentation of specialized thesauri in two languages (English and Russian).

Design of an experimental setup for evaluation of inductive transcutaneous energy transfer systems 设计一种评估感应经皮能量传递系统的实验装置

Work objective — is to develop an experimental setup for evaluation characteristics of inductive transcutaneous energy transfer systems, such as comparative studies of various topological solutions; studies of systems' thermal safety; influence of geometry of a coils couple on the parameters of energy transfer. The system consists of planar spiral coils, device for positioning, receiving and transmitting circuit boards, frequency generator, and National Instruments USB-6361 DAQ. Mathematical apparatus has been developed that makes it possible to obtain self-inductance and the internal equivalent resistance of the coils from the measured voltage drop in the transmitting circuit, as well as the dependence of the mutual inductance on displacements. LabVIEW virtual instrument for automation of measurements is designed. The values of the self-inductances of planar spiral coils and the practical dependences of the mutual inductance of spiral coils on displacements without and with using automation tools were experimentally found. The results corresponds theoretical calculations.

The values of the self-inductances of planar spiral coils and the practical dependences of the mutual inductance of spiral coils on displacements without and with using automation tools were experimentally found. Influences on performance of the linear induction motor for the mining systems with different parameters of the power source 不同电源参数对矿用直线感应电动机性能的影响

This paper considers the possibilities of improving the energy and mechanical characteristics of the linear induction motor for the mining industry. The mathematical model of the linear induction motor takes into account the magnetic nonlinearities of materials, and also considers the possibilities to take into account edge effects in two-dimensional formulation of the problem. In this paper was considered the influence of parameters of the power supply source on the features of the linear induction motors. Firstly, the obtained results are compared with the actual characteristics of the object. All of the above studies have been carried out in accordance with the requirements and capabilities of the mining industry.
本文考虑了改善矿用直线感应电动机的能量和机械特性的可能性。线性感应电机的数学模型考虑了材料的磁性非线性,并考虑了在问题的二维表述中考虑边缘效应的可能性。本文考虑了电源参数对直线感应电动机特性的影响。首先,将得到的结果与目标的实际特性进行比较。以上研究都是根据采矿业的要求和能力进行的。
