Mathematical modeling power-saving thyristor-motor drives of switching design 数学建模节能晶闸管-电机驱动开关的设计

DC electric drives of rolling mills are the greatest electromechanical power consumers at iron and steel works. Energy indexes of these drives are far from the optimal ones. Most power losses are associated with consumption of reactive power caused by voltage phase control. Previous papers described the two-region control design based on rearranging reserve of the rectified EDV of the thyristor converter in steady-state and dynamic modes. Methods and systems of dependent control of excitation flow implementing that concept were proposed. A mathematical model of an electric drive of the wide-strip hot-rolling mill is required to study dynamic properties of this system. This paper depicts structures of control system models with coordinate switching controlled with the excitation circuit. Transient processes of the electric drive were investigated for a rolling cycle at different setting of EDV control circuits. Operational integrity and efficiency of the developed two-region speed control with switching units were proven. The results provide a rationale for introduction of the developed systems into the thyristor electric drives of rolling mills.

The report describes algorithms for calculating the durations of phases, determining the peak values in each phase, implemented on the basis of the step phase program results. The algorithms results of the operation for the processing of experimental data are presented. The interval size of passive and active phases for the double step is presented as a percentage, and the moment of the least stable position of the body is determined. The presented algorithms in the article will be used in the future to identify diseases or abnormalities in the work of the locomotor system.

Scalable distributed storage for big scientific data 用于大科学数据的可扩展分布式存储

In this paper we describe the distributed storage structure with indexing techniques which can be applied in scientific Big Data centers. Basic principal of this project is distributed (N, K)-block storage. We develop the descent of LH∗RS especially for multidimensional data arrays using multiscaled representation of these arrays and efficient pre-processing algorithms. Dataset is decomposed into data blocks of several levels using the Wavelet transform. The required dataset of any requested scale and resolution is reconstructed online from the corresponding set of downloaded blocks on client's side. In order to accelerate data queries processing we can additionally use a pre-computed statistic results blocks and their hierarchical representation. The main advantage of this approach is that we can use these results together with original data or even separately to serve different data queries with both value and dimension subsetting conditions. This approach can reduce the resource costs of corresponding scientific problems.

Development of control system for fruit classification based on convolutional neural network 基于卷积神经网络的水果分类控制系统的开发

Recognition of visual images is one of the most important components of the control systems, information processing systems and automated decision-making systems. In this paper the approach to develop control system of objection recognition based on convolutional neural network (CNN) is considered. The CNN is applied to the tasks of fruits detection and recognition through parameter optimization. The result of our test had accuracy in the classification close to 94% for the 30 classes of 971 images, indicating that the proposed system and methods could be used for vision subsystem based control applications.

Reducing the hardware complexity of a parallel prefix adder 降低并行前缀加法器的硬件复杂度

Currently, parallel prefix adders (PPA) are considered effective combinational circuits for performing the binary addition of two multi-bit numbers. These adders are widely used in arithmetic-logic units, which are parts of modern processors, such as microprocessors, digital signal processors, etc. This paper deals with Kogge-Stone adder, which is one of the fastest PPA. When performing the schematic implementation, this adder has a large hardware complexity. Therefore, in this work for reducing its hardware complexity the scheme of modified PPA has been developed. The performance parameters considered for the comparative analysis of the presented adders are: the number of logic gates, Quine-complexity and maximum delay obtained when schematic modeling in CAD environment Quartus II based on FPGA Altera EP2C15AF484C6. As a result, when simulation of 32-bit adder, Kogge-Stone adder and modified PPA have similar maximum delay. However modified PPA has reduced hardware complexity by 22.5% compared to Kogge-Stone adder.

This paper presents the method of authentication in wireless networks of IEEE 802.11 family. A novel approach for creating modular reconfigurable robots with distributed power system 一种基于分布式动力系统的模块化可重构机器人制造新方法

The paper considers the problem of creating power supply and data exchange subsystems for modules of a reconfigurable robot. Based on analysis of previous academic and commercial approaches, the new circuitry solutions for both distributed power supply and Ethernet POWERLINK compatible data exchange subsystems of modular reconfigurable robot are proposed. The results of experimental research of new circuits, showing their efficiency are presented.

Optimization of distributed parameters objects of technological thermal physics based on numerical models 基于数值模型的工艺热物理分布参数对象优化

The general statement of optimal control problem for distributed parameters object of technological thermal physics is considered. Suggested algorithm of accurate problem solution includes the procedure of subsequent parameterization of control algorithms and reduction to semi-infinite optimization problem. To find unknown parameters of control algorithm the special optimization procedure is developed that is based on the alternance method application using the numerical models of technological processes. A short overview is done for the practical applications of the described technique to the optimization problems in thermal physics.

The development of a true-type logarithmic amplifier on capacitor dividers for ADC 用于ADC的电容分频型真对数放大器的研制

The increase of the ADC bit capacity is possible by involving the compression of the input signal according to the logarithmic law, while maintaining the phase of the signal. Theoretical calculations and computer simulation of the ADC coupled with the logarithmic amplifier demonstrate the significant improvement of the operating parameters of the circuit, the increase in dynamic range and decrease in the spread of the relative conversion error. The paper presents a logarithmic amplifier (LA) with 3.5 GHz bandwidth, 30 dB gain and 70 dB dynamic range. Current consumption is 90 mA and supply voltage 5 V. The mathematical description of the proposed inclusion method, as well as a graphical representation of the obtained parameters are presented. Methods for calculating the dynamic range are described and a comparison between two variants is made. Schematic modeling of the proposed method is carried out and the results are presented.
