Enhancing Intrusion Detection Using Statistical Functions 利用统计函数增强入侵检测

Intrusion detection has become an issue of concern on the Internet recently. With the excessive growth of Internet, it is clear that organizations should seek to defend themselves of the best possible protection alongside illegal entry; moreover, the problem in this research seeks to solve the strategy outsiders deploy to outwit detection systems by dividing the packets into smaller patterns to avoid being detected. The research aimed to specify a mathematical model to enhance the intrusion detection process. In this paper mathematical function have been used together and a system was implemented to prove the model applicability. Probability laws, mode calculation, slandered deviation, and the median calculation have been used through mathematical module to get an accurate measures and results to classify the incoming data and provide more immunity to the intrusion detection system. The detection tool was developed under MATLAB 2016 in order to simulate the previous mathematical rules, and obtain positive results that indicated the system–s capability to enhancing intrusion detection. The system has achieved a convenient result which proofs the idea behind mathematical functions utilization in such field; network security.

Call Duration-Based Bandwidth Adaptation for Zero Blocking in Wireless Networks 基于呼叫持续时间的无线网络零阻塞带宽自适应

Bandwidth Adaptation is a crucial factor in networks management due to the steady increment of users and applications. In this paper a simple mechanism that degrades the bandwidth (BW) of running calls to their minimum required BW, depending on the average time for the type of traffic, in order to allow new calls and achieve a zero blocking rate. Based on previous mechanisms those use the duration time of the call to apply the BW degradation, with further improvements, the simulation results proved a zero blocking rate and a starvation avoidance for the remaining BW.

Mode Excitation and Radiation Characteristics of Slotted Waveguide Antenna Array 开槽波导天线阵列的模式激励与辐射特性

This study describes the design of a novel X- band Slotted Waveguide Antenna Array (SWAA) which is excited by TE20 mode. The radiation characteristics of TE20 mode excited SWAA are compared with conventionally designed TE10 mode excited SWAA. The CST Microwave Studio (CST MWS) simulation results show that the SWAA with TE20 mode feeding features high bandwidth, narrow beamwidth, and high gain as compared with TE10 mode fed SWAA.

An Empirical Equation for Predicting Fractional Bandwidth of Pifa Antenna 预测Pifa天线分数带宽的经验方程

A parametric study is performed on a planar inverted $-Gamma $ antenna (PIFA) that operates on the low frequency band; 900 MHz. The study is dedicated to the effect of parameters on bandwidth (BW) and resonant frequency, covering most of the parameters that constitute the design of the antenna; patch dimensions, ground dimensions and substrate height. Based on the results, an empirical equation is developed to predict the fractional bandwidth (FBW) of the antenna. The equation relates the FBW to the parameters that have an effect on BW and no or insignificant effect on the resonant frequency. In comparison, values obtained from simulation and values calculated using the equation are very close (around 1% difference in values obtained).

Prediction of Churning Behavior of Customers in Telecom Sector Using Supervised Learning Techniques 基于监督学习技术的电信行业客户流失行为预测

Data mining is vast area that co-relates different branches i.e Statistics, Data Base, Machine learning and Artificial intelligence. Numbers of applications are available in different sectors. Customer churn is the behavior when customer no longer wants to keep his relationship with the company. Customer churn management is playing important role in customer management. Nowadays telecommunication companies are focusing on identifying high value and potential churning customers to increase profit and market share. It is understood that making new customer is more expensive rather than retaining existing customer. There is an existing problem that customers leave the company due to unknown reasons. In our research we predict churn behavior of customer by using various data mining techniques. It will eventually help in analyzing customer's behavior and classify whether it is a churning customer or not. In this research, we used online data set available at Kaggle for prediction of Customer churn behavior using different classifiers i.e SVM (Support Vector Machine), Bagging, Stacking, C50/J48, PART, Naïve Bayes, Baysen Net, Adaboost and observe that our model gave 99.8% accuracy level using Bagging Algorithms.

Determination of horizontal displacement in a part of Sudan conventional triangulation network using GNSS 利用GNSS测定苏丹部分常规三角网的水平位移

We use satellite positioning measurements based on global navigation satellite systems (GNSS) to determine the horizontal displacements over the old triangulation network. The study area is located in Merowe Dam area in the Northern State of Sudan. The validation process starts by correcting the control points relative to GNSS reference system. The triangulation method is based on angle measurements between the points by optical theodolites. Therefore, it is suitable for the comparison with GNSS more than other conventional methods because there is no distance or scale inconsistencies occur during the triangulation measurements. The quality of the network baselines has been evaluated using the ratio-test criterion and root mean square (RMS). The cut-off ratio was set for values equal or greater than 1.5, however, small values have shown a good quality $text{a}{s}$ well. RMS shows the high quality of the measurements over the entire network with maximum RMS of less than 2 cm. The average horizontal displacement in the control points is 8 mm to the East direction and 1.8 cm in the North direction. The final results show that there is an average displacement of about 60 cm in the horizontal direction. The study further warns that more careful and regular measurements are to be considered for monitoring the displacement occurs in the network.

Adaptive Navigation Planner for Autonomous Locomotion Control of Nonholonomic Wheeled Mobile Robot 非完整轮式移动机器人自主运动控制的自适应导航规划

Navigation planner is proposed to control the autonomous locomotion process of the differentially-driven wheeled mobile robot (WMR). Several motion tasks are carried out through the simulation works for various kinds of trajectories. The postures stabilizing were realized through applying a feedback control law to ensure the tracking controller operates with the feedforward gains' variation. The Simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the utilized controller, in which a fast response is achieved.
为了控制差动驱动轮式移动机器人的自主运动过程,提出了导航规划器。通过对各种轨迹的仿真工作,完成了若干运动任务。通过应用反馈控制律来保证跟踪控制器随前馈增益的变化而工作,从而实现姿态的稳定。仿真结果验证了所采用控制器的有效性,实现了快速响应。

Design of Battery Monitor and Protection Subsystem of Power System in MAYAD01 UAV Project MAYAD01无人机项目电源系统电池监测与保护子系统设计

Nowadays Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) play a curial role in many fields. It has been used to do urban civil missions such as search and rescue, wildlife, agriculture surveys and weather monitoring as well as military missions such as border surveillance, military training and many other missions. The Institute of Space Research and Aerospace (ISRA), Sudan has established a UAV research project named mayada01.The main task of mayada01 is monitoring wide space agriculture areas via high-resolution cameras capturing visible and infrared images. Mayada01 composes of six systems. The power system is one of them, and it is responsible for providing and managing the distribution of electrical power to other systems besides monitoring the battery level and protecting the other systems from over current. This paper presents the hardware and software design of battery monitor and protection subsystem of power system in mayada01.

The Institute of Space Research and Aerospace (ISRA), Sudan has established a UAV research project named mayada01.The main task of mayada01 is monitoring wide space agriculture areas via high-resolution cameras capturing visible and infrared images. Mayada01 composes of six systems. The power system is one of them, and it is responsible for providing and managing the distribution of electrical power to other systems besides monitoring the battery level and protecting the other systems from over current. Computer Information Sciences Views on Community Services and Computer literacy 计算机信息科学社区服务观与计算机素养

The main purpose was to investigate computer literacy on integrating community-based education in the computer science programmes. Older citizens feel isolated and sometimes lose their urge to live because they find difficulty in connecting with society and the latest development. Thus, their quality of life cannot be defined in terms of physical and mental health. This research tried to find out the benefits of computer literacy like being able to use online shopping, online banking, internet etc, for senior citizens in rural areas. For this, the researchers collected data from senior citizen to get an idea if they are really interested in such classes. Moreover, the researcher carried out an interview with Marketing and Community Relation Head at one of the prestigious universities in the UAE. The competencies like interpersonal relationships, establishing identity, purpose, integrity etc. are proven to enhance by community learning among students. The data collected resulted in stating community services to make senior citizens aware and efforts to improve their quality of life are beneficial in many ways.

Simulation and Analysis of Artificial Hip Joint Using Software Modeling 基于软件建模的人工髋关节仿真与分析

-In this study a 2D/3D CAD model of an artificial hip joint was designed using SolidWorks software program. Biocompatible and robust enough materials such as Titanium alloy Ti6Al4V and Alumina ceramic Al $_{2 mathrm{O_{3$ were used in the designing process for such parts of the hip joint. The finite element (FE) method was used to obtain a solution for the stress and strain distribution throughout series of adjacent elements, further the design was analyzed using computeraided engineering (CAE) software after it was loaded with static loads 250N, 350N, and 450N respectively to check the durability of the design. The stability of the model was verified by static test.
