We study the problems of the linear mean-square filtration of non-stationary random processes with unknown correlation functions. We consider the filtering problem for the general basic model and the case of building the linear meansquare estimation with the special type of the estimation. We investigate case when unknown correlation functions belong to certain special sets too. We offered algorithms for building optimal linear mean-square estimation for these cases.

An approach to mathematical modeling of electromagnetic waves propagation through inhomogeneous media with non-linear parameters is described. The problem was formulated in terms of the modified vector magnetic potential with regard of magnetic and electric losses. The results of mathematical modeling of electrophysical processes accompanying an electromagnetic wave front sharpening as it propagates through ferroelectric media with nonlinear dependences of permittivity on the level of the electric field strength are presented.

The task of predicting self-similar traffic of IoT network objects with a significant number of pulsations and the property of long-term dependence is considered, which makes it difficult to predict in practice. Using the method of wavelet extrapolation based on Haar-wavelet, the results of prediction of self-similar traffic are obtained. We compared the results of traffic prediction based on the Haar-wavelet and the cubic spline function using wavelet and spline extrapolation. This will allow you to choose one or another extrapolation method to improve the accuracy of the prediction, while ensuring scalability and the ability to use it for various IoT applications to prevent network overloads.

Sensitive elements of toxic gas sensors based on the porous silicon structures have been created. Our scanning electron microscopy based studies suggest the formation of pores with a diameter of up to several micrometers that promotes penetration into the porous layer of macromolecules of the toxic gases. Electrical properties of the obtained structures in the modes of direct and alternating currents are investigated using current-voltage characteristics and impedance spectroscopy. Significant dependence of electrical parameters of the sensory elements on the presence in the atmosphere of molecules of morpholide of pelargonic acid is registered. The adsorption sensitivity of the obtained structures is calculated to estimate their sensory properties. It is found that maximum sensitivity of the sensory elements to the molecules of morpholide of pelargonic acid is realized in the range of their concentrations of about 0.4–0.5 %.

In this research, a high-frequency high-voltage inverter based on class-E amplifier is presented. The inverter utilizes a high-ß series resonant network to obtain high voltage with amplitude 2 kV at operating frequency 1.5 MHz. Due to high-ß network, it was possible to obtain high voltage at output without transformer. The proposed generator was calculated, simulated, built and tested. The experimental voltage amplitude amounted to be 2kV with DC power 31W at operating frequency 1.5 MHz.

This article discusses the new principle of placing second-order bandpass filters (BPFs) with mixed couplings when they are connected in cascade. This principle consists in arranging second-order BPFs at different levels, which lids in multilevel coupling structure. This placement of second-order BPFs minimizes the parasitic interaction between non-adjacent resonators in microstrip filters, which reduces distortion of frequency responses. This placement principle is used to create of two microstrip fourth-order BPFs, obtained by cascading two second-order BPFs with stepped-impedance resonators (SIRs) and mixed couplings. Two mixed couplings lead to two transmission zeros fz1, fz2. The possibility of moving fz1, fz2 with respect to centre frequency f0 and the problem of obtaining the minimum interval between fz1, fz2 and f0 are studied. The measured and simulated responses of microstrip fourth-order BPFs are presented.

The analysis of metrological agents for the estimation of the quality of telecommunication path treatments is carried out. The analysis of subjective and objective estimation methods is presented. The justification for choosing an objective method of measuring is presented. A list of existing goals and objectives, which face the current progress of the implementation of promising systems for broadcasting and improvement of existing ones are reported. The latter include the absence of normative documents and recommendations for optical specimens for testing tables, etc. Research related to the choice of optical samples from existing sets of colors from a number of international documents and recommendations are presented. Deficiency of these sets is substantiated, as some of the colors necessary for evaluation of telecommunication paths cannot be provided with no color of sets. Provides recommendations and refinements about which colors from existing sets should be used and what constraints exist when used and how to solve. It is shown, that saturated colors of green and red colors are not provided with spectral from the existing sets, therefore, it is proposed to expand the traditional understanding of metrological means by using atlases of colors. Satin colors in contrast to existing ones have a number of advantages and can be used for evaluation in advanced conditions, rather than in the studio that is rigidly defined by the regulations. It is noted that for different brightness values there are a different number of testing points. The number of testing points directly depends on the evaluation criteria and is driven by several possible sets of colors for evaluation. Recommendations for other evaluation conditions are provided. Satin colors are used to construct testing tables.
