In paper the possibility of modifying the parameters of a distributed feedback (DFB) lasers based on cholesteric liquid crystal (CLC) with the nano-dimensional gold dopants is shown. The CLC was a mixture on the basis of 76.85 wt.% BL061 (CLC from Merck) + 22.5 wt.% E7 (nematic liquid crystal (NLC) from Merck), and as dye was used the 0.65 wt.% of DCM (4-(Dicyanomethylene)-2-methyl-6-(4-dimethylamino- styryl)-4H-pyran). The seed-mediated growth method was used for the gold nanorods synthesis. We provide the possibility to control the wavelength of laser radiation according to gold nanorods concentration in the CLC matrix.

There are considered the phase state and chemical composition of the aluminized coatings obtained by the method of electrospark alloying (ESA) on the specimens made of 20 steel. At low discharge energies, there is formed a layer predominantly consisting of α-Fe and aluminum oxides. It has been stated that increasing discharge energy results in obtaining the layer consisting of iron and aluminum intermetallics and free aluminum as well. A kinetic analysis of the system describing this process has been carried out, phase portraits have been constructed, which confirm the developed theory of a three-layer system.

The principles of the functional and structural construction of a communication part of the UAV system based on SDR and SoC technologies while ensuring the survivability of the formed radio channels are presented. The main increase in survivability is achieved through the use of adaptation over the frequency range using an additional reception channel for continuous analysis of interference conditions, using two or more data transmission channels, complex algorithms for optimal selection of the operating range, transmission channel parameters and adaptive protocols for simultaneous data transmission over two or more channels.

Cyber-PHY, IoT, sensor networks, Robotics (thick and server-less mobile applications), real-time network applications (thin clouds clients) can generate large arrays of unmanaged, weakly structured, and non-configured data of various types, known as "Big Data". With the acceleration of industrial development "Industry 4.0" processing of such data became considerably more complicated. However, so-called problem "Big Data" is hard to solve or resist nowadays! The paper discusses the Best Practises and Case Studies aimed to overcoming of the Big Data problematics.

simulation of various kinds of physical oscillatory and wave processes using equivalent electrical circuits was used as early as the 19th century. In some cases, it contributes to a deeper understanding of the essence of the processes and an adequate assessment of the experimental results. That is why lattice electrical circuits are effective as models of Fano resonance and metamaterial cells. In particular, they let us give a simple explanation of the seemingly exotic properties of metamaterial cells, such as "superquality", "counter-directionality" of group and phase velocities. A new equivalent electrical circuit of the Helmholtz resonator was also proposed.

The conversion efficiency of solar energy can be significantly increased if silicon of a multiporous texture is used as the front surface of a solar cell. The possibility to create the porous silicon multitexture as a basic material for fabrication of efficient photoelectric converters is shown. As a result of electrochemical etching, the columnar porous silicon texture was fabricated in terms to obtain a low-reflection structure. The reflection of prepared frontal texure based on columnar porous texure exhibited lower values in comarison to random pyramid texture in the wavelength range 400-1150 nm. It was demonstrated higher photovoltaic performances of test photoelectric converters with a columnar porous silicon texture in comparison to those with pyramidal textures.

As an application example, microstrip line with integrated dumbbell-shaped defected ground structures (DGSs) is adopted in the output matching network (OMN) of a high-efficiency power amplifier (PA) of classes E, E/F, F-1 for size-reduction. Three ways to supply the power for the PA was considered. Two OMN design, prototypes, filter effects and performances are shown. Simulation with transistor model indicates a potential possibility to achieve up to 86.7% power added efficiency (PAE) for the E/F class at 42.92 dBm output power at 2.29 GHz operating frequency.

In this paper analytical expressions of the signal-to-noise ratio, which allow estimating the throughput capacity of transmission systems by G.fast technology using the «vectoring» crosstalk compensation algorithm, which takes into account not only the uncompensated crosstalk, but also the useful signal power limitation associated with transmitter power normalization are presented. The achievable rates of the G.fast transmission systems operating over a TPP type multi-pair telephone cable and covered with a «vectoring» crosstalk compensation system are defined. The estimates of the throughput capacity of the G.fast transmission systems are given depending on the quantity of mutually influencing transmission channels and parameters of multi-pair telephone cable. The maximum G.fast TS throughput capacity was determined under the condition that there was no external noise and crosstalk, and the effect on the throughput capacity of crosstalk was estimated without «vectoring» algorithm and with «vectoring» algorithm. The effect of the useful signal power limitation when using the «vectoring» algorithm on throughput capacity is evaluated. The estimation of the G.fast TS throughput capacity when operating in the presence of external noise is given.
