Machine learning driven course recommendation system 机器学习驱动的课程推荐系统

This paper presents a machine learning-driven course recommendation system based on similarities between courses. The proposed system employs various data mining techniques to mentioned similarities between courses. Based on the experimental phase of this paper, Cosine metrics proved the best to calculate these parameters. The method proposed in this paper relies on rankings based on areas of study. These techniques allowed us to create an algorithm that, based on input, returns courses that satisfy various conditions. The results satisfy the demands of finding similar courses presented through cross-platform application to the students who will use it to improve their education.

PV system site selection using PVGIS and Fuzzy AHP 利用PVGIS和模糊层次分析法进行光伏系统选址

With the decreasing reserves of conventional sources and the high emission of harmful gases caused by them, the inclusion of renewable energy sources in power system is increasing. However, to best utilize them, different site location criteria for PV generator installment need to be considered in the decision-making process. This paper presents Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchical Process (AHP) method used in energy planning to find the best Photovoltaic (PV) system site location for the established criteria and factors. Eight criteria were identified and evaluated. These include the solar energy potential, distance to the transmission line, PV surface slope, sunshine duration, the total amount of energy/PV, the temperature ratio, site survey, and performing shading analysis. PVGIS software tool is used to collect necessary data. Evaluation criteria are prioritized by applying fuzzy AHP, fuzzifying the inputs of the decision matrix using triangular fuzzy numbers. The obtained results and the methodology show potential in finding the best location where the PV system can be best utilized.

Identification of protein complexes by overlapping community detection algorithms: A comparative study 用重叠群落检测算法鉴定蛋白质复合体:比较研究

Community detection is of a major interest in network analysis. In this study several overlapping community detection algorithms are applied on different protein-protein interactions (PPIs) networks (BioGRID, String and WI-PHI) in order to examine their capability to identify protein complexes. Several community detection algorithms implemented in CDLIB Python library are examined. Obtained communities are further evaluated against four different gold standards of protein complexes from literature. The accuracy of the methods applied on the PPIs networks is examined by statistical measures designed to cope with overlapping partitions. The experimental results indicate that the community detection algorithms are more successful on BioGRID and WI-PHI networks, obtaining a relatively high accuracy in several cases.

Impact assessment of irradiance and temperature variation on PV system current harmonics injection 辐照度和温度变化对光伏系统电流谐波注入的影响评价

This paper presents the impact assessment of solar irradiance and temperature variation on the photovoltaic (PV) system current harmonics injection at the point of common coupling. The cases when the PV system is connected to the weak and strong (rigid) distribution grid are analyzed. Based on the developed simulation model in MATLAB/Simulink and obtained results, conclusions are drawn regarding the current harmonics injection and their impact defined by standards and technical recommendations.

A Proposal for Universal Preprocessing and Text-Embedded Programming (PTEP) System 通用预处理和文本嵌入式编程(PTEP)系统的构想

We present a novel concept of universal text pre-processing and text-embedded programming (PTEP). Preprocessing and text-embedded programming has been widely used in programming languages and frameworks in a fragmented and mutually isolated way. The PTEP ideas can be found in the implementation of the TEX typesetting system; they are prominent in PHP and similar web languages, and finally they are used in the Jupyter data science framework. We define the following novel principles of the Universal PTEP: generality, update and replace modes, flexibility, configurability, transparency, and embedded programming language use. We present an open-source system Starfish for PTEP, which satisfies those principles. We describe the operating model and design of Starfish, which is an open-source system implementing these PTEP principles in Perl. The system is transparent and its design allows direct implementation in other programming languages as well.

The paper presents techniques, methods and tools for web application development using MERN stack. A real system that is modeled and improved is described, as well as an analysis of user requirements, design, implementation, testing and presentation of the web application, developed in order to support the business of bookstores. The architecture of the developed web application is explained in detail and a description of its work is presented. Conclusions were drawn based on the results of work and performances of the developed application. This work also includes possible ways of improvement and further development, as well as the advantages in relation to other, similar solutions.

Endangered data in Moodle platform with malicious plugins 在Moodle平台使用恶意插件危害数据

This paper describes potential endangerment to the database security in an e-learning systems, which directly violates the confidentiality of data use, and various abuses are possible. Special attention is paid to plugins for different CMS platforms, of which there are currently over 1,500 in the official repository as one of the leading ways for compromising database security at the moment. Installed plugins external to e-leaning system as Moodle, lets that system perform a function that's not in environment core, but can be very dangerous. Therefore, Moodle users should consider all the risks involved in installing software add-ons outside official the Moodle plugin download repository. Description of the database security problem is presented via a case study in which the potential endangering to the Moodle database based on the creation of a malicious plugin, vulnerable activities and social engineering attack.

In this paper, a possible solution for the architecture of the remote employee monitoring system is proposed. Development of such a system is particularly interesting at a time of the Covid-19 virus pandemic, when many employees work from home. Today's monitoring systems are mainly based on time tracking and screen monitoring features, without in-depth further analysis of the collected data. Therefore, the aim of this paper is to present one architecture solution that will support not only data collection, processing and visualization, but also the application of Machine learning algorithms that will perform more complex and deeper analyzes. As a result of this paper, the proposed architecture will provide a clear insight into the structure of the system, before the beginning of its development.

Detection and Logging Changes in Web Pages 检测和记录网页中的更改

Detecting changes in web pages is a process that has many uses for regular users and developers alike. This paper lists and explains the usual steps in the development of one tool that detects changes. Two tools are implemented and tested on real-life web pages. Changes that can be detected in these tools are based on DOM (Document Object Model) trees. Results for two methods of tree comparisons are presented and discussed.

Automation of Industrial Control System Management Within Small-Size Wind Tunnel Based on Modbus Protocol Over Serial Connection 基于Modbus协议串行连接的小型风洞工控系统管理自动化

The wind tunnel is basically a system that consists of several functionally different devices that in the coupled mode of operation should provide the desired air flow and speed of air in the working part. Core components of wind tunnel are assembled from the same or different vendors and will almost certainly (if they are manageable) have their own integrated control application. Sometimes, this can be a challenge due to the way each component is managed separately. Because there is no central console through which control can be deployed, consequently more resources are needed. Most industrial devices support communication based on the Modbus protocol, which can work in several modes, and one of the most used is the Modbus RTU. Automation of devices control in the wind tunnel, based on utilization of Modbus protocol which relies on serial connection, is considered in this paper.
