The study examined the phenomenon of language sensitivity in the classroom. Specifically, it identified the lived experiences of students as to their language interactions with peers and with their teachers and developed a language sensitivity model in the classroom. It made use of qualitative design, employing the phenomenological approach by Moustakas (1994) which in this study, essentially focused on the meanings of the experiences of the participants on language sensitivity in a classroom context. The findings of the study revealed that there are positive and negative lived experiences of the students as to interactions with peers and teachers in the classroom. Positive experiences are categorized into the theme of politeness, while negative experiences are categorized into themes: bullying, profane language, culture-biased language, and sexism. It was further revealed that language sensitivity cycles in the classroom in terms of language interactions with peers and with the teacher, and both teachers and students choose either positive or negative language interactions. Finally, the study concludes that the more negative language interactions occur in the classroom, the lesser the language sensitivity that arises; while the more positive interactions occur, the greater the language sensitivity that arises. Academic integrity is one of the transmitted values in the education process. However, due to the impact of unstoppable growing technology, accompanied by the effect of COVID19 pandemic to education processes, digital paid academic services became popular among students. This study aimed to explore the culture of paid digital academic services using the principles of covert observation utilizing the cyberethnographic design of qualitative research. The culture of paid academic services in Facebook groups were subjected to this study by analyzing the posts in the group pages. The observations are the following: (1) Academic servants are from different spectrum of educational qualifications, (2) services offered vary, (3) requests of potential clients are (a) to prepare common school requirements, (b) proxy to quizzes or performance tasks, (c) partial or full aids to their thesis, and (d) some notable observations. It was also observed that there are scamming schemes in the group. In the digital era, it is difficult to control paid academic services. Thus, ethically acceptable paid academic services must be clearly defined. Teachers and school administrators are advised to devise a policy on their classes/ school relative to pressing concerns of paid digital academic services. The purpose of this study is to evaluate and assess the teaching strategy to teach the Domain and Range of Rational Functions. A lesson is developed to implement the strategy and is demonstrated. The participants of the Lesson Study are Mathematics Teachers that serve as the students for the demonstration. Exploratory research was used to investigate if the strategy will be effective for the students and to formulate suggestions for developing lessons. The results show that an explicit type of learning and collaborative approach makes the class discussion interactive when teaching domain and range of rational functions. However, the teacher should be mindful of giving enough time to review or recall motivation, and those who are struggling with using the application. Extension services are one of the core functions of State Colleges and Universities in the Philippines. Marikina Polytechnic College (MPC), as one of the SUCs in the National Capital Region, is also required to conduct extension services. Programs to be offered to the partner community must be identified first before its execution. A needs analysis was conducted by MPC to identify what program could be delivered to the partner community utilizing the survey method of research. The source of data in the study was selected by the Barangay Captain of the partner community through snowball sampling (n=20) in which the majority came from 18-35 years old bracket, female, college graduates, and wage workers. It was revealed in the study that the main problem identified as perceived by the respondents is lack of income, for a personal problem, and lack of livelihood programs, for community problems. It was also revealed that the samples in this study wanted to focus the extension program on dressmaking. Therefore, the extension program that must be conducted must be a sustainable livelihood program for dressmaking. Upon identifying the needs of the partner community, budget allocation, material preparation, location of training, and availability of trainers must be taken into consideration. Nowadays Bangladesh is called a “DIGITAL BANGLADESH”. The propensity of online shopping and businesses is increasing these days. The digital environment spreads out not only in the country but also in Rangpur City. Over the last few years, online shopping has improved and the number of people who have access to the web has increased. A positive attitude towards online shopping and selling is being observed in Bangladesh. The young generation is much more involved in space marketing or shopping than in a place. The main aim of this research is to investigate the consumers’ attitudes toward online shopping and the factors influencing consumers towards online shopping. To meet the study objectives a quantitative survey method was employed. Researchers select 150 respondents by the technique of non-probability convenience sampling. The questionnaire of the study was developed from the previous literature. The research result shows that 60% of the respondents are male, and the rest are female between the 16-59 age groups, with a Secondary school certificate to postgraduate educational level. Most of them spend 2-4 hours on the Internet daily. The result also revealed that convenience, time-saving, website design, perceived enjoyment, and people engagement and their review rating have a significant positive relationship with consumer attitudes toward online shopping.

The use of art in therapeutic form is very popular and its benefits are proven. Many therapists employ artistic methods to address the complications of autism for a long time but the increased prevalence of autism spectrum disorder with visual impairment is being witnessed these days. The present study aims to study the effects of art therapy intervention on the dual disability of autism and blindness. For this study two children having moderate autism with visual impairment were selected. Activities planned for them majorly focused on the stimulation of their tactile senses. The art therapy project for these students was divided into four stages: Pre-stage - the exploration of art material. In this stage, children were made familiar with different art materials. The second stage included tactile art-sand drawing, and the third and last stage activities were coins activity and paper weaving activity. It was designed to enhance motor skills and coordinated hand and body movement. There was resistance shown by both of them at the initial stage. However, the results after extensive sessions of their participation in activities indicated positive improvement in concentration. Their typical behavior of avoidance was also reduced. The results suggest that a tailored approach with the coordination of other experts and parents can help to overcome the complexity of their disorder.

Genus Trichoderma contains many species that are of great economic importance because of their ability to suppress pathogens and enhance their biocontrol capabilities against soil borne pathogens. In order to utilize the full potential of Trichoderma species in specific applications, precise identification and characterization are vital. The use of molecular markers has given a boost to the analysis of the accurate variation among various isolates of bio-agents. The present study was carried out to estimate the morphological diversity among commercial products of Trichoderma. Trichoderma based commercial products produced by different firms and made available for sales were collected from Akola and Nagpur markets. A total of eight isolates were isolated from talc powder carrier based samples on TSM. The Trichoderma isolates were differentiated by colony characters and morphological features. All isolates showed different growth patterns, colony colour, colony type, pigmentation and morphological characters like phialides, conidial size and shape.

Academic librarians are important drivers of academic achievement, research advancement, and community success. This study investigated the effect of librarians’ stressors, affectivity, and self-efficacy on thriving at work. The study utilized a descriptive-correlational research design. The respondents were the one hundred ten (110) academic librarians in the higher education institutions of Caraga Region and Northern Mindanao who were chosen using a clustered sampling technique. Five modified questionnaires were utilized for data gathering. Findings discovered that there was a collective significant effect of the stressors, affectivity, and self-efficacy on the librarians’ thriving at work in both vitality and learning dimensions. The study recommends that the leadership in higher education institutions must show their support to the academic librarians and expose them to training that is geared towards improving their affectivity and self-efficacy to motivate them to perform better at work. When librarians positively view work-related stressors, learn how to manage and control their emotions, and believe in their ability to solve work-related problems, they can thrive in the workplace and thus function more effectively and efficiently. One of the study’s limitations is its failure to consider the effect of stressors, affectivity, and self-efficacy to work productivity and professional development. These factors may be explored in future studies. Qualitative studies about thriving at work and the various variables that can predict this significant condition may be explored to understand deeply its existence and relevance in the workplace.
