Introduction: Hippotherapy is a therapeutic approach using the movement of the horse, administered by trained health professionals. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effects of hippotherapy on balance and gross motor function of children with CP. Case Description: A subject for this case study that was recruited from an inclusive school was 10 years old boy, with an athetoid type of cerebral palsy. He has a history of bilateral fluctuating muscle tone and tightness in both the upper limb and lower limb. The most common symptoms of the child were involuntary movement, tremors, poor posture, unsteadiness, twisting of the trunk, slow, writhing movements, abrupt movements

Introduction: Several studies identified high prevalence of anxiety, stress, and depression for health students, including paramedic students. For this reason, the health students’ well-being represents a public health issue. To improve this situation, we need to develop interventions at the beginning of health studies. The implementation of occasional and/or regular well-being promotion interventions meets a real need for many of health students. Objectives of this study: We aim to assess a well-being promotion intervention among paramedic students in Le Havre (France). Methods and analysis: This is a protocol of monocentric quasi-experimental study designed to assess the impact of the intervention on well-being, resilience, self-esteem, and stress among paramedic students throw validated scales distributed before the intervention and 8 months after. Students’ satisfaction will be assessed through a questionnaire. A first analysis will describe the study population. The comparison of average scores will be performed. The results of satisfaction questionnaire will allow evolving the intervention to best meet the needs of students next year. Discussion: The scientific publications on this theme will enrich the literature and contribute to the integration of this approach of well-being promotion nationally and internationally. The expected benefits from this study are the adoption of a healthy lifestyle, the improvement of students’ well-being and their awareness of the importance of health promotion in patients’ care. Ethics and dissemination: The project received ethical approval from the Research Ethics Board of Le Havre Hospital. The results will be disseminated via scientific publications and conference presentations.

Multi-System Inflammatory Syndrome in Children (MIS-C) is a new diagnostic entity that appeared with the Covid-19 pandemic, and that only concerns the pediatric age. Early diagnosis and early immunomodulatory treatment lead most of the time to a complete resolution of the pathology. We present a case of MIS-C, whose main clinical feature was neck pain due to inflammation of retropharyngeal tissues. The use of anakinra was critical for healing.

Background: Postpartum hemorrhage (PPH) is a leading cause of severe maternal morbidity and mortality worldwide which leads to massive blood loss. Coagulation abnormalities in response to severe trauma or infection are a latent cause that might aggravate PPH. Case Presentation: A 39-week menolipsis of a 26-year-old puerpera appeared lacking amniotic fluid and uterine infection after examination. During the cesarean section, the patient manifested fever, massive hemorrhage, and shock. The low coagulation of the PPH patient was diagnosed by thromboelastography (TEG) guided with heparinase (type I). According to the sequential monitoring via the TEG guided assay, the coagulopathy and hyper-heparinization were obviously shown. Concurrent protamine correction for the patient’s coagulation abnormality gradually resulted in a stable condition after 4 hours of emergent treatment. This setting revealed that TEG-guided determination of endogenous heparin and subsequent infusion of protamine effectively reverted the syndrome of PPH. Conclusions: This is an investigation of the PPH syndrome with infection patient suggests that hyper-endogenous heparinization should be clinically taken into consideration for low coagulation.

Methods: This was a multicenter, open-label, single-arm, clinical trial which included adult patients with nasal obstructive symptoms due to chronic rhinitis/rhinosinusitis and a minimum Visual Analog Scale (VAS) score of 25 mm and/or a minimum raw Nasal Obstruction Symptom Evaluation (NOSE) score of 2 on any of items 1, 2, 3, or 5. Enrolled subjects were instructed to apply the study device bilaterally to the external nasal nerve at least three times per day for 30 seconds until the 2-week followup, then twice per day and as needed thereafter. Subjects were evaluated at Days 3, 14, and 30 following the initial baseline visit. The primary efficacy endpoint was the change in nasal obstructive symptoms from baseline to Day 30 as measured by the VAS and NOSE instruments. Safety was assessed by the incidence of device-related Adverse Events (AEs).
