Objective: The objective of this research was to determine the impact of circadian rhythm disorders on sleep disorders, fatigue and health problems of navy sailors from the perspective of their health behavior. During its voyage, navy crews have obvious problems such as sleep disorders and fatigue, among which the circadian rhythm disorder was the most common. Warning system, special environment at sea, pressure and other factors can lead to the occurrence of circadian rhythm disorders. Methods: The primary data was used in this research with a sample size of 278 and Smart PLS was used for statistical analysis. Results: According to empirical data, the impact of circadian rhythm disorders was significant on sleep disorders, fatigue and health problems of navy sailors. The research is novel in the literature because very few studies have discussed the circadian rhythm disorders in the context of navy sailors. Conclusion: The research implications in the theory are reliable to enhance the body of knowledge of circadian in the significant way. Furthermore, the study has some practical implications to work on to enhance the practices to improve the health of navy sailors during their long time in the sea.

Objectives: In this study, we examine influencing factors and demand forecast of single disease demand in Chinese public hospitals. Methods: We conducted a preliminary screening of the literature, according to a literature search strategy and inclusion and exclusion criteria. Related Chinese and English articles between 2000 and 2022 were searched in the Chinese National Knowledge Infrastructure, Wanfang, PubMed, and Elsevier databases and Google Scholar. The Jadad literature scoring mechanism was used, and Stata/SE version 12.0 software was used to perform a meta-analysis of the effect size of literature statistics. The outcome index was the 2-week visit rate. Results: We included 13 articles for meta-analysis. Their combined effect size and 95% confidence interval for chronic disease, age, gender, economic factors, medical insurance form and education level were 3.43 (2.26, 5.51), 2.53 (1.74, 3.68), 1.3 (1.16, 1.46), 2.31 (1.16, 4.61), 3.2 (2.98, 3.45) and 1.35 (1.14, 1.6), respectively. Results revealed that for patients with chronic diseases, those>60 years of age and families with better economic conditions and higher levels of education correlated with a higher demand for medical services among families with medical insurance for urban residents. Conclusion: Using meta-analysis, we analyzed the factors that affect the demand for medical services in China. From demographic and economic factors, national medical insurance policies and residents' health status, we analyzed the relationship between patients with a single disease and other factors. With respect to the influence of medical service demand, relevant departments should take effective measures to increase medical service demand according to the influencing factor of the 2-week visit rate and simultaneously provide scientific theoretical guidance for medical reform.

Objective: Three types of leisure activities such as sedentary, social, and leisure-time physical activity (LTPA) have been identified as essential factors that influence mental health outcomes among older adults with diabetes. In this study, we aimed to investigate what types of leisure activities are associated with mental health outcomes among older adults with diabetes during the COVID-19 pandemic. Methods: We used 2020 Health and Retirement Study (HRS) data. We extracted 310 records from 3266 individuals diagnosed with diabetes and conducted a hierarchical regression analysis to investigate the research question. Results: LTPA was the strongest predictor of reduced loneliness and stress and increased happiness and life satisfaction among older adults with diabetes. Discussion: Our findings highlight the relationship between different types of leisure activities and mental health for older adults with diabetes during the COVID-19 pandemic. Data suggest that LTPA, social leisure, and sedentary leisure reduce loneliness and stress and improve happiness and life satisfaction.

Objectives: To determine the effect of quality of sleep (SL) and self-reported health (SRH) on burnout (BO) and whether burnout, in turn, impacts work performance (WP) among employees of the Higher Educational Institutions (HEI's). Methods: Data was collected using the survey method using questionnaire items adapted from the literature. The final sample consisted of 138 employees. A two-step procedure was conducted using AMOS by first employing confirmatory factory analysis followed by structural equation modeling. Results: The results supported the hypotheses proposed in the study as SL positively and significantly impacted employee burnout. Similarly, SRH was found to have a significant positive association with BO while BO significantly and negatively affected WP. Conclusion: Employees' work performance reduces with increased burnout which is aggravated due to poor sleep quality and self-reported health; hence, the study provides insightful contribution for managers and workers to focus on improving work performance by reducing burnout.

Objective: I examined the relationships between psychological capital (PsyCap), academic adjustment, and tendency toward procrastination in 3 groups of students in higher education-an ethnocultural minority group (Israeli Arabs), a neurotypical ethnocultural majority group (Israeli Jews), and an ethnocultural majority group diagnosed with learning disabilities (Israeli Jews with learning disabilities). The goal was to deepen and expand understanding of the factors that affect academic adjustment. Methods: Overall, 449 post-secondary students enrolled in various academic institutions in Israel participated in the study. The data were collected using an online Qualtrics questionnaire. Results: First, I hypothesized a positive relationship between PsyCap and academic adjustment and a negative relationship between those 2 variables and academic procrastination. This hypothesis was fully corroborated. Second, I hypothesized that students from an ethnic minority group and majority students with a diagnosed neurological disability would present lower levels of PsyCap and academic adjustment and higher levels of academic procrastination than a majority neurotypical group. The hypothesis was only partially confirmed. Third, I hypothesized that the higher the PsyCap, the lower the degree of academic procrastination and, in turn, the higher the academic adjustment. The hypothesis was confirmed. Conclusion: The findings can help support the design of academic assistance programs to improve the integration into higher learning of students who belong to special groups.

Objective: We aimed to construct an evaluation index system for the core competencies of specialist nurses in pediatric emergency care using the Delphi method. Methods: We preliminarily defined 3 levels of evaluation indices for the core competencies in this nursing specialty through literature review and qualitative analysis. We conducted 2 rounds of expert consultation (using the Delphi method) to screen, revise, and finalize the indices. Results: Two rounds of inquiry sufficiently defined the evaluation index system for the core competencies. The evaluation index system consists of 70 tertiary indices, 17 secondary indices, and 6 primary indices. The authority coefficients of the 2 rounds were 0.859 and 0.876, respectively, and the effective response rates of both rounds was 100%. Conclusion: The proposed evaluation index system is reliable, comprehensive, and professional, providing a quantifiable basis for the evaluation and appraisal of the core competencies in this area of nursing specialization.
