Light-sheet illumination improves multiphoton imaging speed. By optimizing laser pulse frequency using the quantification of photodamage in embryos, we demonstrate an order-of-magnitude signal increase in live two-photon light-sheet imaging.

When regarding the image to be sparsely represented by groups, we propose a novel modulation method in ghost imaging to achieve high sampling efficiency and image quality. Simulation results perform the advantage of this method.

We incorporate pre-chirp management into SPM enabled spectral selection to improve efficiency and reshape unfavorable input flat-top pulses. This new technique produces megawatt-level femtosecond pulses tunable in the wavelength range of 0.86-1.3 µm.

We apply the self-calibrating d-scan technique to quantify the pulse train instabilities in a fiber laser with supercontinuum generation in a photonic crystal fiber (PCF). Using an all-normal dispersion PCF, stable 15-fs pulses are measured.

Utilizing the logarithmic negativity (EN) entanglement measure, we present an analysis of (optomechanical) ponderomotive entanglement generation. Results predict a max EN of about 0.2 and are highly dependent on temperature, loss, and measurement precision.

New holographic profilometry method based on single frame multi-interference hologram acquisition is proposed. It allows to reduce a measurement time while maintaining high measurement range and axial accuracy. Experimental verification is provided.
