mi - crotome sections with a 5-6 μm thickness were stained with hematoxylin and eosin, according to van Gieson, Mallory, Weigert, Masson, and toluidine blue [8]. It is known that the long-term effect of ethanol on the body damages the function and structure of all its organs and systems. The organs of the reproductive system are extremely vulnerable during chronic alcohol intoxication, but to this day, there is no complete understanding of the morphological and pathophysiological processes that occur in the organs of the reproductive system under the conditions of long-term alcohol consumption. The venous system plays an essential role in developing damage to organs and systems when toxic factors affect the body. The purpose of the research is to study the age-related features of the structural rearrangement of the venous vessels of the pros - tate gland with long-term ethanol intoxication using morphological methods. Venous vessels of the prostate gland of 80 white male rats, divided into four groups, were studied by morphological methods. The 1st group included 20 intact animals aged 8 months in normal vivarium conditions, the 2nd – 20 white rats aged 24 months, the 3rd – 20 8-month-old animals with ethanol intoxication, and the 4th – 20 24-monthly rats with the indicated pathology. Etha - nol intoxication was modelled by intragastric injection of 30% ethanol solution at the rate of 2 ml per 100 g of body weight for 28 days once a day. It has been established that with age in laboratory sexually mature white male rats, there is a structural rearrangement of the venous bed of the prostate gland, which is characterized by the expansion of the venous link of the hemomicrocirculatory bed, venous vessels, a decrease in the thickness of their walls, atrophy of endotheliocytes, and an increase in the relative volume of damaged endotheliocytes. Prolonged ethanol intoxica - tion leads to more pronounced remodelling of the venous channel of the prostate gland. The degree of structural re - arrangement of the venous vessels of the prostate gland dominates in experimental animals of the older age group.

the heterogeneity of sensory disturbances in a group homogeneous in terms of refraction type, age, and other parameters. In particular, we distinguished three subgroups according to the features of the variations of the MNVA in the orthogonal parts of the retinas: the group where the MNVA in the orthogonal meridians was the same, the group in which the MNVA in the vertical meridian was higher than in the horizontal and the group where the MNVA in the vertical meridian was lower. than in horizontal. Such results make it possible to look at the problem of adaptation of the visual system to astigmatism from a different angle. Asymmetries in orthogonal visual acuity were recorded in both paired and leading eyes, and were often latent in the leading eyes, which is the basis for understanding MA as a binocular pathology. As a criterion for the effectiveness of the treatment, we used the fact of an increase in visual acuity and a change in the nature of visual acuity asymmetry in orthogonal meridians. After treatment, the number of eyes with the same MNVA in orthogonal retinal meridians increased by 47.92% and amounted to 81.25% (it was 33.33%). Accordingly, a group of patients who may need more vigorous pleoptic treatment was identified. At the same time, the use of usual hardware methods of treatment together with accommodation training have shown their effectiveness in most patients with amblyopia and astigmatism.
