Favipiravir (F), Hidroksiklorokin (H) ve Oseltamivir (O) moleküllerinin kombinasyon çalışmaları incelenmiştir. Covid - 19 için olası kombinasyonlar F + H, F + O, H + O ve F + H + O şeklindedir. İki inhibitörün kombinasyonu arasında, F + H kombinasyonun iyi bağlanma afinitesi gösterdiğine ulaşılmıştır. Benzer şekilde, üç kombinasyon ilaç F + H + O, ilgili protein bağlanma afinitesinde fazla önemli artış gözlenmiştir. Sonuç olarak, moleküler yerleştirmenin, kombinasyon ilaçların güçlü bağlanma Abstract In this study, computational studies in the literature of drugs used in the treatment of Covid-19 disease, which affects the world, are brought together. Combination studies of Favipiravir (F), Hydroxychloroquine (H) and Oseltamivir (O) molecules for Covid-19 were investigated. Possible combinations for Covid-19 are F + H, F + O, H + O and F + H + O. It was found that between the combination of the two inhibitors, the F + H combination showed good binding affinity. Similarly, for the three combination drugs F + H + O, more significant increases in binding affinity with the respective protein were observed. As a result, data of molecular insertion were obtained confirming the stronger binding affinity of combination drugs.

In recent years, the increase in obesity in the world has led to the development of new strategies in combating obesity. In the present study, it was aimed to investigate the effect of niacin and melatonin supplements to combat obesity in rats as a model organism. Treadmill exercise was performed on rats after niacin and melatonin supplementation for 10 days. In each group, weight loss was observed at the end of the 10 days exercise. In this study, it was observed that niacin supplementation leading to weight loss in rats that had treadmill exercise when compared to the control group. In addition, it was found that the weight loss observed in melatonin+niacin supplement was higher than niacin supplement only. As a result, niacin and melatonin supplementation can be recommended before exercise to combat obesity.

: This work; had been carried out by aiming the determination of the possible protective effect of the tarragon ( Artemisia dracunculus L.) leaf extract against genotoxicity of cyclophosphamide (CP), by micronucleus test. In the study, 6 test groups were formed and each group was involved 8 animals. These groups were named as: I. group is negative control group, II. group is positive control group which is formed from 50 mg/kg, i.p. CP, III. group denotes 75 mg/kg tarragon leaf extract group, IV. group denoted 150 mg/kg tarragon leaf extract group, V. group is formed from 75 mg/kg tarragon leaf extract + CP (50 mg/kg, i.p.) and VI. group is formed from 150 mg/kg tarragon leaf extract + CP (50 mg/kg, i.p.). The tarragon leaf extract was given to the mice via oral gavage during 14 days. Cyclophosphamide was injected intraperitoneally to the mice before 24 hours of the dislocation (day 15) of them. The micronucleus ratios were determined by the performing of the micronucleus tests to the bone marrow cells of dislocated mice.At the end of the study; when the statistical evaluation of micronucleus numbers were compared with the negative control group, it was determined that the MN numbers increased in the group which was exposed to CP (p<0.001) according to the negative control group. On the other hand, it was determined that the MN numbers of CP group were significantly decreased when the 75 mg/kg and 150 mg/kg doses AD in addition to the CP (p<0.001) were applied to the CP group. When an evaluation was carried out upon the PCE/NCE ratios, it was determined that values of the CP group (p<0.001) were less than values of the control group, on the other hand, when 75 mg/kg AD applied with CP (p<0.005) it was observed that the PCE/NCE ratios were decreased compared to the situation that applied 150 mg/kg AD to the CP group (p<0.001).As a result; it was determined that 75 mg/kg and 150 mg/kg doses of Artemisia dracunculus L. leaf extract showed protective effect in mouse bone marrow cells by leading to decrease of the increase in micronucleus which was caused by cyclophosphamide.

Aluminum alloys have numerous application fields in today's technology due to their excellent mechanical features, high electrical and thermal conductivity, magnificent corrosion resistance, good weldability, good formability and similar properties. In the present study, we investigated the mass attenuation coefficient (µm), effective atomic number (Zeff) and effective electron density (Ne) of four different type commercially available aluminum alloys. For his purpose, µm, Zeff, and Ne values of 5083, 5754, 6061 and 6082 coded aluminum alloys were determined by employing NaI(Tl) gamma ray spectrometry at 661.66,1173.23 and 1332.48 keV gamma ray energies obtained from 137Cs and 60Co radioactive sources. Also these parameters theoretically determined using PhyX-PSD computer program at the photon energies of 1 keV–1 GeV and compared with the experimental results. The variation of µm, Zeff, and Ne with incident photon energy presented graphically. From the obtained results it might be concluded that the µm, Zeff, and Ne values for studied alloy samples depend on the incident photon energy and elemental composition of alloys. In addition, it was observed from the theoretical and experimental results that aluminum alloys under study have almost the same gamma ray attenuation capacity.
