Effects of Hydrophilic Silica Nanoparticles on Morphology and Mechanical Properties of a Typical Tyre Compound 亲水二氧化硅纳米颗粒对典型轮胎复合材料形貌和力学性能的影响

This research aimed to study the effects of adding hydrophilic silica nanoparticles as nanofiller on tread properties of a typical tyre compound. In this respect, four compounds were prepared as a representative of the tread of the tyre. The amount of 0, 1, 3, and 5 phr (parts of filler per hundred parts of rubber) of nanofiller were added by melt mixing method. Physical and mechanical properties of compounds were measured. The structure and morphology of the fractured surface of the compounds were characterized using field emission scanning electron microscopy (Fe-SEM). The results of cure and mechanical analysis of the compound series showed that the sample containing 3 phr of nanofiller possesses better properties. This observation is due to higher interaction between nanofiller and polymer macromolecules that causes better dispersion of the nanoparticles in polymer matrix.

A Green and Efficient Solvent- and Catalyst-Free Ultrasonic Dibenzylation Procedure 一种绿色高效的无溶剂、无催化剂的超声二苄基化工艺

A greener improvement was achieved for the synthesis of diverse N,N-dibenzylated compounds from the reaction of various aromatic amines with benzyl bromide using the ultrasound irradiation in solvent- and catalyst-free conditions. The dibenzylation reactions were carried out in different solvents and solvent-free conditions under ultrasound irradiation at various temperatures. The yields were very low in all applied solvents, while in the solvent-free condition and at room temperature, the yields were excellent. Due to obtaining the high reaction yields, the catalyst was not used.
在无溶剂和无催化剂的条件下,利用超声波辐照,多种芳香胺与苯溴反应合成多种N,N-二苄基化化合物,实现了更环保的改进。在不同的溶剂和无溶剂条件下,在不同温度的超声照射下进行了二苄基化反应。在所有溶剂中,产率都很低,而在无溶剂条件下和室温下,产率都很好。由于反应产率高,故不使用该催化剂。

In this paper, binuclear metal complexes of the metal ions Fe(II), Co(II), Ni(II) and Cu(II) were synthesized by the reaction of the primary ligand (imine of benzidine) (H2L) and the secondary ligand (1,10-phenanthroline) (L`) with these metal ions in a molar ratio of 1:2:2, respectively. The complexes were characterized using CHN elemental analysis, FT-IR, UV-Vis, magnetic susceptibility, molar conductivity, 1H NMR, and TGA-DTA thermogravimetric analysis. According to the results obtained from the elemental analysis and spectral measurements where complexes of Fe(II), Co(II) and Ni(II) have octahedral geometry, while the complex with Cu(II) has a square planar geometry. All the prepared complexes are wholly stable and can keep for months without any significant change. The antibacterial activities of the prepared compounds were evaluated with regard to two bacteria species, gram-negative Proteus and Kelbsiella, by using diffusion agar plates. The inhibition zone diameter around the holes indicated the sensitivity of the bacteria to these compounds, where the Klebsiella bacteria were revealed to be more highly sensitive to these compounds than Proteus bacteria. All synthesized complexes showed more significant effects against Kelbsiella and Protea than the antibiotic (Amikacin).

Anomalous Sorption of Neodymium and Praseodymium Ions by Intergel System Polyacrylic Acid Hydrogel – Poly-4-Vinylpyridine Hydrogel 凝胶系聚丙烯酸-聚4-乙烯基吡啶水凝胶对钕和镨离子的异常吸附

This paper is devoted to study of sorption properties (sorption degree, polymer chain binding degree) of intergel system hydrogel of polyacrylic acid (hPAA) – hydrogel of poly-4-vinylpyridine (hP4VP) in relation to neodymium and praseodymium ions. It was found that remote interaction of the polymers in intergel pairs provides significant changes of the electrochemical and volume gravimetric properties. Strong increase of the swelling degree of hPAA is observed at the ratio 17%hPAA-83%hP4VP; significant increase of swelling degree of hP4VP is observed at the ratio 83%hPAA-17%hP4VP. Individual hydrogels of PAA and P4VP do not have sufficiently high sorption properties – sorption degree of neodymium and praseodymium ions is not higher than 65 %, polymer chain binding degree is not higher than 55 %. High ionization of hPAA and hP4VP due to remote interaction effect provides significant increase (up to 30 %) of the sorption properties. Maximum sorption of neodymium and praseodymium ions occurs at the ratios 83%hPAA-17%hP4VP and 50%hPAA-50%hP4VP (sorption degree is 93.5 % and 93.6 %, respectively). The highest values of polymer chain binding degree (in relation to neodymium and praseodymium ions) are observed at the ratios 83%hPAA-17%hP4VP and 50%hPAA-50%hP4VP – binding degree is 73.2 % and 75.4 %, respectively. Remote interaction provides possibilities for creation of innovative sorption technologies for selective sorption of aimed rare-earth elements.

Synthesis, Characterization, Antimicrobial and Molecular Docking Study of Benzooxadiazole Derivatives 苯并恶二唑衍生物的合成、表征、抗菌及分子对接研究

In this study, a series of new1,2,5-oxadiazole compounds derived from 4-chloro-7-nitro-benzo 1,2,5-oxadiazole was synthesized using different organic procedures. The resulting derivatives were chemically characterized and their structures were confirmed by FT-IR and NMR analysis. All the compounds were also evaluated for their antibacterial and antifungal activity against four types of pathogenic bacteria: S.aureus, S.epidermidis (as gram-negative bacteria), E.coli, Klebsiella spp. (as gram-positive bacteria) and the fungus Candida albicans using the agar well diffusion method. The synthesized oxadiazole derivatives exhibited significant antibacterial and moderate antifungal activities. Exploring the binding between the potent synthesized derivative 8 within the active site of glucosamine-6-phosphate synthase, the target enzyme for the antimicrobial agents was achieved using Autodock 4.2 package. The interaction modes of the generated conformers inside the binding pocket were found to enhance the in vitro results, and strongly recommended the new derivatives as promising antimicrobial agents.

Preparation of Briquettes on the Basis of Sub-Standard Coal of Kazakhstan Fields 以哈萨克斯坦油田次标煤为原料制备型煤

A technology of briquetting of sub-standard coal of Kazakhstan fields to obtain high-quality briquetting fuel has been developed. A modifying additive in the form of oil residues has been selected, that make it possible to obtain a binder composition for brown coal briquetting. The material for the preparation of coal briquettes is coal fines from dry, poorly sintered coals, which cannot be used for direct combustion in the furnace. The optimal parameters for obtaining high-quality fuel briquettes have been determined. The introduction of a modifying additive into the oil residues makes it possible to obtain a binder composition for briquetting brown coal. Studies of the physical parameters of briquettes and the data of SEM showed that the thickness of the adsorption layer of coal and the cohesion of the binder in thin layers play an important role in the formation of the structure and strength of the briquette. It was assumed that at the optimum thickness of the film layer, the maximum manifestation of capillary forces and an increase in the adhesive interaction between the particles and the binder take place. The organic component of the coal fines is a mixture of various X-ray amorphous components, the presence and number of which vary in a series of metamorphism. The results of the performed studies show the possibility and prospects of using local raw materials for the development of high-quality briquetted brown coal fuel.

The effect of factors on the process of chemical modification of tar with formaldehyde using a sulfuric acid as the catalyst has been studied. By using experimental results, the adequate statistical-mathematical (ESM) model has been developed. Based on this model, the optimal values on the process of chemical modification of tar with formaldehyde using a sulfuric acid as the catalyst have been identified, bringing about optimal penetration value and softening point of the modified tars. Data predicted on the basis of the ESM model were compared with empirical evidence about modified tars preparation.

A low-temperature pyrolysis, the target product of which is pyrocondensate, is one of the options for the recycling usedtires. The fractional composition and properties of pyrocondensate of rubber waste pyrolysis obtained at an industrial plant have been studied. The pyrocondensate was separated into gasoline, diesel fraction and residue. The composition and properties of obtained productswere determined using X-ray fluorescence analysis and IR spectroscopic studies.

Polymers with terminal epoxy, phosphate, fluoroalkyl groups were obtained by radical polymerization in the presence of chain transfer agents derived from isopropylbenzene. The structure of polymers was confirmed by NMR spectra and functional analysis. Polymers with functional fragment were used for synthesis of polymer-inorganic particles and copolymers with poly(2-ethyl-2-oxazoline) fragment.
