This article aims to present the history of the First Feminist Congress of Yucatan in 1916, which, in the opinion of the authors refers us to review the actions of iconic figures who promoted this initiative; such as Elvia Carrillo Puerto. Also, we can qualify the facts of this event as the first that the Mexican State of the twentieth century promotes legal and administrative in favor of women during the revolutionary trance; because it consider women as political subjects within the public space of that time, although this was not, at that time, a fully citizenship status to exercise their political rights.

The paper's main purpose is to evaluate the general performance experienced by the model of electoral regions and the levels of party competitiveness in Mexico. This implies to make an analysis capable on estimating the evolution of electoral districts and the effective number of oppositional parties (it defined as H Min index by Juan Molinar in his contributions). Supported by these theoretical grounds, this paper will study the dynamics of the “official electoral regions” existing since 1979, in order to locate their more outstanding differences across time and their impact on the levels of representation and seats obtained by political parties. Finally, this exercise intends to propose general recommendations in order to improve -or do not- the current model of electoral apportionment, and to guarantee the levels of competitiveness in democratic conditions within the electoral regions as well.

The objective of this paper is to explain the institutional change of the legislative dynamic and identify the conditions and factors that shape the political agreements. Contrary to other kind of studies that have explained the political consensus just observing the final reforms or emphasizing on the importance of negotiation skills, our goal is to analyze the meaning of political negotiation and the influence of institutional dynamic into the actor's efforts to reconcile interests and priorities in the context of the Pacto por México.

The purpose of the text is to answer different questions related to the social and political profiles of the deputies of the mexican Congress; as well as the gender gap, considering its parliamentary and partisan history, age, educational level and professional career. For it, the author take as elements of study, two Mexican legislators, lxi (2009-2012) and lxii (2012-2015). A database with the information of representatives was created with the idea of ordering fundamental information and also a depth interviews were conducted with key women within political parties.

In this article the author presents an analysis of the importance of accountability in Mexico, where this action is part of the dynamics of power relations implied in the Mexican political system, which responds to the imperative that there actors, processes and requirements that influence the institutions and norms are confined to the complex logic of checks and balances. As such, the design is studied from performance criteria, ensuring the balance of power and stability of relationships that support its functionality.

In this article, the author addresses the following concepts: identity, social participation, democracy, tradition, citizen participation, citizenship. This, with the idea of orienting its proposal to review the problems arising from globalization in modern society. The main question is limited to the idea of citizenship as a concept, for knowing if it is compatible with forms of coexistence where the cargo system becomes the form of organization to carry out community-based festivities.

The central proposal of this article is that political philosophy has been part of political science, as philosophy, as theory or as history of ideas, although not always exposed with the same intensity. One of the reasons for its influence variation can be explained from the moment when both disciplines development during the second half of the xx century and during the first years of the xxi, two processes causing debate, took place: the first one was the “death” of political philosophy due to the arousal and development of political science and other social sciences, although political philosophy would experiment a subsequent revival; nevertheless with the advance and development of an empirical political science, the idea of its “death” has appeared, due to the absence of a narrower dialogue between political philosophy and other disciplines that are necessary for its “rebirth”.
