The author analyzes and compares the staged model of public policy, from a heuristic approach inputs on the subject since the early seventies. Considering this approach, the research focuses on the stage of completion, which is important to understand from their role in a particular policy; in that way, examples are shown in the stage of completion of public policies on environmental and public safety issues in Mexico, as well as an example in Peru.

In this paper the proposed universal social security by the government of President Enrique Peña Nieto is examined. For purposes of the length of the text, it focuses exclusively on the health component and analyses the origin of the proposal, their misadventures and proposes some alternatives to rearrange the previous and indispensable health priorities to achieve universal character in the sector.

In this article, the authors note that the political and electoral reforms in the first half of the government of Enrique Peña Nieto took place only in the field of legal and political superstructure, as they have not been an initiative that addresses violence, to reduce crime, create new jobs, to create conditions for economic growth or poverty reduction. In their opinion, the legal changes together with policy actions have not been sufficient to themselves to end or at least lessen, the major problems of the country.

During the 2012 diputies federal election in Mexico, the combination of two factor cause the raising of null voting at the state level: i) the changes in the structure of the electoral ballot and ii) the partial coalition between the Partido Verde Ecologista de México (PVEM) and the Partido Revolucionario Institucional (PRI). This article shows that in the states where the partial coalition does not have presence, the null votes increase, meanwhile in the states where the coalition does occurs the levels of null voting decrease. Moreover, in the states where the partial coalition does not have presence, the relationship between the null voting and the schooling is positive, contradicting to the prior research.

In this work the author analyzes two political experiences between 2007 and 2011 involving the argentine evangelical wing. In the conclusions compares these cases with their history and assesses its election yields in order to establish its impact on argentinian religious political scenario.

In the present article we observe that the system of parties in Mexico has meant the establishment of three predominant political offerings: PRI, PAN and PRD, characteristic of moderate pluralism. However, this three-party dominance has limited the growth of small parties and the emergence of a fourth competitive political force. Moderate pluralism has not encouraged the electoral development of new parties, something which is also reflected in the integration of the Congress. The emergence of MORENA, political party, came to change this logic, for their ability to become a competitive match, at the height of the other three, taking advantage of the leadership of Andrés Manuel López Obrador.

This article presents an analysis of the emergence and consolidation of the chiefdom in public transport organizations at the northeastern of the state of Mexico. From the analysis of this case, it concludes that the current presence of despotism as a form of exercise power in a personalistic and arbitrary way is one of the challenges of democracy in Mexico.
