The article examines a reality that develops through touch and can be experienced physically and mentally, which our profession shows in its therapeutic effectiveness. This article asks questions about the destiny of man in Still‘s way of thinking, based on Still‘s anthropological model of the “Triune Man”. We are trying to connect with currents in philosophical anthropology in an updated guise based on this anthropological idea of 120 years ago.
Much of what is discussed here is epistemologically linked to the attachment of touch, which opens up to osteopaths in their world of perception. For this essay: That what is tentatively experienced as reality in the effective alliance also has its effectiveness. The fact that this is tied to preconceptions about the people involved should be conveyed to the reader here.
