Stress represents a psycho-physiologic activation which could be positive in certain circumstances kept over time it depletes our reserves and could make us more vulnerable towards certain diseases.
These reactions are not only triggered by the demands of the situation, but also for the cognitive valuations that we make of our resources before them.
This knowledge could allow us to understand the interferencees which stress could exert over the optimum results of our treatments; and also it could bring us closer to new therapeutic approaches in our clinical practice.
Whichever way, more research will be essential to determine the effects of physiotherapy on the stress response, as well as the way in which stress interferes in our treatments.

Objective
To analyze the general concepts of heel located pain that might be related to the irritation of the plantar fascia or bone of the heel, which require pain epidemiology, pathogenesis, clinical manifestations reported by the patient and imaging studies that would help its diagnosis.
Methods
Treatment should begin with simple measures and with low probability of side effects recommending patients; subsequently indicating pain medication and / or non-steroidal antiinflammatory and physical rehabilitative measures as thermotherapy, ultrasound, magnetotherapy, hydrotherapy, laser, iontophoresis, low and medium frequency analgesic currents, extracorporeal shock waves, bracing, plantar insoles, appropriate footwear, plasters, massage and stretching exercises of the plantar fascia, and in some cases anesthetic blockade ofthe posterior tibial nerve, steroid infiltration and if necessary or indicated, surgical treatment.
Conclusions
The early diagnosis and treatment, pain, discharge from the tension of the plantar fascia, the correction of forefoot and rearfoot anomalies are contributing factors to ease discomfort in the patient and to reduce the disability that causes this disease to whom suffer.

Objective
To assess the impact of physical, psychological and autonomy conditions of persons with multiple sclerosis (PwMS) through an Adapted Aquatics Actitvity Program (AAAP).
Methods
Twenty-five outpatients (twenty-four with MS and one with an amyothrophic lateral sclerosis) from the MS Day Hospital were included in the AAAP. The program consisted of 12 one-hour weekly consecutive sessions.
Clinical data were: 54.2 % of patients had a relapsing-remitting MS, 33.3 % had a secondary progressive MS and 12.5 % had a primary progressive MS. 68 % were female and 32 % were male; mean age: 45; mean Kurtzke Expanded Disability Status Scale (EDSS): 4.5 The range of scores for 12.5 % of the patients was 1.0 to 3.5 and 4.0 to 6.5 for the rest.
Measurements assessed at the beginning and at the end of the period of treatment were EDSS, the modified Ashworth Scale, the Oxford test, the Tinetti Test on walking, the modified Rivermead Mobility Index, the Motor Assessment Scale and a self satisfaction questionnaire.
Results
A statistically significant improvement was observed in the gait pattern (Wilcoxon; z = −2.754, p = 0.006) and in the strength of the lower limbs (Kolmogorov-Smirnov; z = 1.874, p = 0.002).
The Tinetti score with the subjective fatigue degree score correlated significantly (U de Mann-Whitney; p = 0.005).
Conclusions
The results suggested that our program is beneficial using both objective and subjective scores. In spite of the results, most participants did not continue with the AAAP as a health activity because of arquitectural barriers. More resources should be provided to eliminate such barriers in order to promote autonomy in handicapped PwMS.

The back pain, is one ofthe mostcommon problems of health in our society, is highly prevalent and frequent cause of absence from work, utilization of health services and considerable disability. It is the process that generates the most number of consults in the sanitary system not surprising that generate enormous economic and social prices. The low back pain is the most common kind of back pain, enlarging with the age since the infancy; the prevalence in the adolescence is much seemed to it found in adults. This situation they are they have carried out activities of prevention and processing increasingly more efficient and directed mainly to the adult population. The implementation of educational programs of primary prevention in early ages has done itself also necessary and recommendable. With children and adolescents have been carried out preventive intervention programs in the school, suitable place for these activities. The programs are designed to enlarge the knowledge o f this population with respect to the general health of the back by means of interventions with theory and practice. The theory is characterized in the majority of the programs, by information on anatomy, biomechanics and care of the back; and the practical one through the teaching of positions and correct posture activities as: correct way to be sat down, to collect an object of the floor, to be gone to bed, etc. The effectiveness of these programs is evident and the increments of knowledge witch can relate to the delay or the not apparition of the first back pain episode.

Objective
To analize the effects of submersion in abdominal pressure and determine the effectiveness of hipopressive gymnastic in acuatic enviroment.
Material
To carry out the analysis an indoor-pool was used. Meassurements of abdominal pressure variations have been taken using a manometer connected to a pressure sensor located in the anus.
Method
Comparison between abdominal pressure variations obtained in four different positions: stand up, crouching, knneling and quadrupedic position and in four different situations: aerial with and without typical corrective factors of hipopressive postures and submersed in the same situations.
The analysis has been carried out within a group of eighteen young women.
Results
Variations in abdominal pressure have been compared using the Wilcoxon test.
It has been found a statistically significant decrease in abdominal pressure in each aerial position, without hipopressive corrective factors applied in relation to the reference position. These deviations become remarked with corrective factors applied (specially in quadrupedic position).
In acuatic enviroment, an increase of abdominal pressure has been detected in every functional situation, corresponding to hydrostatic pressure variation induced by water.
Conclusions
Acuatic Hipopressive Gymnastic offers no cuantitative significant advantage attending to abdominal pressure decrease (in absolute values). Nevertheless, hydrostatic pressure effect (with or without hipopressive exercise) at this specific depth results quite useful to reduce muscular tone and improve diaphragmatic domes mobility.

The presence of paresthesias in the cubital edge of the hand, fourth and fifth finger usually is related to the compression of the C8 root or the cubital nerve. In spite of it, there are occasions in which these symptoms may have other origin. A case study shows, a patient who presented both cervical and dorsal shoulder pain, as well as paresthesias in the zones aforementioned. During the medical and physical therapy examination, compressive nervous pathology was ruled out. During de physical therapy evaluation, it was found out that the paresthesias were related to the presence of an active Myofascial Trigger Point in the Teres Minor. The treatment consisted of compression techniques and stretching. Afterwards, superficial dry needling followed by stretching was needed to obtain the whole inhibition of the MTP. The symptoms disappeared after three sessions of treatment.

Legal assessment over patients with spinal column injuries is by itself hardly difficult, and it requires full knowledge of functional and pathological anatomy, and its diverse diagnostic possibilities. Although the pain is the main item for assessment, it also goes with the first symptom for column injuries Physiotherapy referral. This study pretends to analyze the role of the physiotherapist intervention after first or secondary legal assessment.

Introduction
The carried through studies about satisfaction are an important indicator in the Physical Therapy area and the usuaries are the key to proceed to an evaluation of the satisfaction about the given care in Physical Therapy.
Methodology
The present study’s goal is to verify the usuaries satisfaction level regarding the given care in Physical Therapy, in the carried through studies in Portugal, that used the Questionário de Audição ao Utente and to verify if, in the authors opinion, this instrument is adequate to the Portuguese reality. It was possible to congregate 17 studies, which make a reference to 23 institutions. The first part of the study is of a methodological nature and it refers to the construction and validation of measuring instruments (content analysis grail and questionnaire). The second part refers to the ascertainment of the described points in the goals using measuring instruments, this being of a non-experimental descriptive nature of the content analysis. And finally, construction of a version of QAU. The data treatment is content analysis and descriptive statistics.
Results
In the overall, the results indicate that the usuaries find themselves satisfied with the given cares in Physical Therapy, meeting with the total quality patterns
Conclusions
Through the result analysis it’s possible to conclude that the usuaries find themselves satisfied with the given cares in Physical Therapy.

The cerebral paralysis bears an endless series of changes that their parents can be in trouble with their son/daughter’s handling
A proyect had been carried forward in this school, and it was given a direction to teach the parents to hand their son in that activities: be dressed, feeding and postural treatment.
Weekly sessions were done by professionals of different specialities (therapeutic pedagogy teachers, lenguage and hearing teachers, physiotherapists, etc.) put one’s experience at the disposal of them for carrying on that material. But they always offer to their parents to be trained in that area. It is beneficent for their son/daughter. They could attended to the formative lessons, that they were done in the school by a physiotherapist and a speech therapist.
Finally, the elaborated material was provided to their families for obteining enough knowledges that it allowes to continue the treatment at home; and it has continuity that they obtein to the school.
