The Influence of a Low Molecular Fraction (Below 5 kDa) from the Calf Blood and Cattle Placenta in the Composition of Creams on Healing Process of the Burn Wounds in Rats 乳膏成分中小牛血液和牛胎盘低分子组分(低于5kda)对大鼠烧伤创面愈合过程的影响

The influence of low molecular weight fraction (below 5 kDa) of calf blood and cattle placenta in the composition of creams on a healing process of the burn wounds III B degree in rats has been investigated. After thermal burn simulating, we have divided animals into the following groups: 1 - a group, where a cream has been applied to the wound surface during 28-day course, it has included a fraction below 5 kDa taken from the cattle placenta; 2 – cream with a fraction below 5 kDa taken from defibrinated blood of calves; 3 - a cream without active substance; 4 - a drug of comparison ″Vundehil″; 5 - a group that has not received any treatment. The effect of the creams has been explored using the index of wound area on the 28 th day after burn and by histological examination of the burn wound area in three months after the beginning of the experiment. It has been established that on the 28 th day of treatment taking into account the wound healing rate and area of a burn, creams that include a low molecular fraction of calf blood or placenta have been the most effective. The smallest area of a burn has been observed after applying a cream with a fraction below 5 kDa of calf blood. The wound healing effect of a cream with a low molecular fraction of placenta has been partly lower, however, it also significantly has exceeded an effect of comparison drug - ″Vundehil″. The area of wounds in the ″Placebo″ group have not differed from the indicators of ″Control″ group. According to the results of histological examination, in 3 months after burn appearance healing of the wounds in all experimental groups of animals have occurred using primary ten-sion mechanism. Epidermis without a characteristic organization of layers has been located on the wound surface of the control group. The thickness of dermis mesh layer in animals has cream, it has been found that surface of a wound is covered with a layer of dense fibrin with a leukocyte shaft. The sections of granulation tissue have been on the central part of a wound at the dermis level, they contain the extended thin-walled vessels. The bundles of collagen fibers have been closely adjoined to each other, the fibroblasts of an elongated shape with an oval kernel, single lymphoid and plasma cells have been located between them. Morphology in the ″Placebo″ group has not differed significantly from ″Control″ group. After treatment, in which a cream with a fraction from the placenta has been used, a wound has been covered with an unevenly thickened, formed epidermis, in which we have observed hypertrophied cells of spiked and granular layers with a hyperchromic nucleus and granular cytoplasm. We have explored a mesh layer of dermis with disordered, multi-directional bundles of collagen fibers. It has been detected a newly created differentiated epidermis in the regional departments of a wound in animals, for treating which we have used a cream the applications with a fraction of the calf blood. Integrated Quantitative Estimation of Neuro- Endocrine Manifestations of Chronic Stress in Female Rats 慢性应激雌性大鼠神经内分泌表现的综合定量评价

Previously in line with the concept of a triune neuro-endocrine-immune complex [3, 5, 7, 9] we have been carried out integrated quantitative estimation of neuroendocrine and immune responses to chronic restraint stress at male rats. The method of discriminant analysis has found that distinctive endocrine signs of chronic stress are increasing thickness of Fasciculary Zone whereas decreasing thickness of Glomerulary Zone of Adrenal Cortex as well as plasma (Ca/P) 0,5 ratio as Parathyrine Activity. Other signs of chronic stress such as increasing plasma levels Corticosterone, Testosterone and Triiodo-thyronine, Sympathetic tone, Heart Rate and thickness of Reticular Zone of Adrenals as well as decreasing Vagal Tone and plasma (Na/K) 0.5 ratio as Mineralocorticoide Activity currently not in the discriminant model. Canonical Neuroendocrine Roots for Intact and Stressed Males Rats averages +0.99 ± 0.40 and -0.25 ± 0.15 respectively (Squared Mahalanobis Distance D 2M = 1.61; F = 3.76; p = 0.017). Among the parameters of Immunity characteristic of chronic stress appeared to increase Thymus Massa Index, level in Thymocytogram of Macrophages and Reticulocytes, in Splenocytogram of Macrophages and Eosinophils, Monocytes in Leukocytogram of Blood have increased as well as Entropy of Leukocytogram and Splenocytogram whereas both Intensivity and Activity of Phagocytose by Neutrophils, levels of Endotheliocytes in Thymocytogram, Neutrophils in Splenocytogram, Background . At the next stage, research has been conducted in this line on female rats. In this article we give the results of quantitative evaluation of neuroendocrine responses to chronic restraint stress. Material and methods. The experiment has been conducted on 60 white female rats Wistar line weighing 230-300 g. 10 of these animals have not subjected to any influences and 50 of them subjected to moderated stress by daily 30-minute immobilization during 7 days. The day after the completion of stressing in rats of both groups the parameters of HRV, blood levels of hormones as well as blood and urine levels Ca, P, Na and K have been registered. The thickness of glomerular, fascicular and reticular zones in sections of the adrenal glands thas been measured under a microscope. Results. It has been found that the mineralocorticoid activity, which is estimated by the Na/K ratio of plasma, increases to the maximum. Further, in the descending order, follow: testos-teroneemia, thickness of the fascicular zone of the adrenal cortex (ZAC), heart rate, sympathetic tone, thickness of the reticular ZAC and plasma level of triiodothyronine. Anionic Polyelectrolyte Hydrogels: Influence on Antibodies Production and Enzyme Activity 阴离子聚电解质水凝胶:对抗体产生和酶活性的影响

Recombinant technologies are capable to produce specific molecules of DNA or protein that possess antigenic properties and are safe. However, individual antigen molecules are low-immunogenic, and therefore require conjugation with a compound possessing stronger adjuvant properties [3, 10]. Salts of aluminum, aqueous emulsions of squalene, viruses, virus-like nanoparticles, cationic liposomes, and others are used as adjuvants. A strong immune response in mice has been achieved with complete Freund’s adjuvant, which includes lanolin, vaseline oil and killed mycobacterium tuberculosis [7]. However, it has got negative because of granulomas formation at the injection sites [6] and not suitable for the preparation of vaccines. The aluminum oxide hydrate and aluminum phosphate [2] only are currently authorized for use in most countries as adjuvants. Despite the fact that aluminum compounds are considered as safe, the occurrence of abscesses, eosinophils, granules and allergic manifestations at their application has been observed [1]. Therefore, the problem of expanding the assortment of such drugs continues to be topical and important. The purpose of this study is to compare immunological effect of the created polymers using antigen – BSA model and to investigate their effect on the activity of enzymes of antioxidant defense, as well as ALT and AST. Materials and methods. The PHG MG-4 and MG-8 have been synthesized via the dispersion polymerization of a monomer mixture in heptane (LobaChemie, India), azoisobutyronitrile (AIBN, Merck, Germany) has been used as initiator (5 % per monomers). Glycidyl methacrylate (GMA), butyl acrylate (BA), acrylic acid (AA), and triethylene glycol dimethacrylate (TGMDMA) have been used to obtain microsized PHG. Polymerization has been carried out in the flat bottom dilatometers or reactors at stirring for six hours at 70 ± 0.2 °C pre-filled by argon. The kinetic of the reaction has been studied using dilatometric and gravimetric techniques. Polymer has been separated and washed to remove not reacted monomers. As a result of the polymerization a cross-linked PHG has been received (Fig. 1). The content of the carboxyl groups has been determined by reverse acid-base titration followed by centrifugation and the selection of the liquid phase for analysis, the content of epoxy groups by the reverse titration of the residues of chloric acid in 0.1 N NaOH. TEM images of PHG microparticles have been recorded on JEM-200A electron microscope at accelerating voltage of 200 kV. The hydrodynamic diameter and Z-potential of the PHG particles have been measured by dynamic light scattering on Zetasizer Nano (Malvern, UK) device using noninvasive inverse scattering technology at 25 °C. The concentration of samples has been 0.4 mg/ml. The Cellular Reactions in Bronchopulmonary System in Patients with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease 慢性阻塞性肺疾病患者支气管肺系统的细胞反应

severe edema ( n = 21, 44.6 %) with elements of dislocation of the brain structures ( n = 14, 29.7 %) in the form of secondary stem syndrome and hemorrhagic transformation of the heart attack ( n = 8, 17.02 %), which has been associated with the highest average volume of ischemic heart disease and severe initial neurological deficiency. Conclusions. The received information allows to individualize the therapeutic approach to the correction of ischemic stroke complications and to predict the risk of their occurrence, depending on the period of cerebral ischemia onset. The cellular reactions in the bronchoalveolar complex have been studied on the basics of broncho-pulmonary fluid in 60 patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). At the beginning of the examinations of the patients they have been divided into two groups, represented by age, sex and severity of disease. The first clinical group has included 33 (55 %) patients with COPD II; the second group - 27 (45.0 %) patients with COPD III. The control group has consisted of 18 practically healthy persons without any signs of the respiratory tract diseases and other pathology of internal organs. The study of the condition of local immunity has been carried out by cytological study of the received bronchopulmonary fluid (BPF) during the fibrobronchoscopy according to standard method. A great number of neutrophilic granulocytes (NG) has been studied using a peripheral blood smear, followed by a determination of their phagocytic and bactericidal activity. The bactericidal activity of NG has been investigated using a spontaneous and induced NTB-test (Nitroblue tetrazolium blood test) using the methodology of the Lviv Research Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion. The phagocytic activity of NG has been studied using the culture of S. aureus, with the determination of the phagocytic index (FI) and the phagocytic number (FF). The functional state of AM and NG have been determined by their adhesion and absorption capacity and oxygen dependent metabolism. The adhesive ability of AM has been evaluated using the method of BM Novikova, YK Novikov (1984) in the modification of KF Chernushenko et al. (1986). The absorption capacity of alveolar macrophages (AM) has been estimated using method of TI Ivchik (1980): Incubation of attached to the cladding glass AM has been carried out with polystyrene latex particles for 60 minutes. FI has been calculated - the percentage of AM that has absorbed latex particles from their total number, as well as the FF - the average number of latex particles in a 1 phagocyte cell. During the study the quantitative composition of cellular elements in BPF, phagocytic and biocidal activity of AM and NG in peripheral blood has been determined.
