 This study aims to determine information search behavior by users in the service circulation of the University of North Sumatra Library. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The data collection technique used in this research is observation. This study took the subject of the library users as informants and the object of research was information seeking behavior in the circulation of the University of North Sumatra Library. most of the visitors to the library are for the purpose of seeking information, only a small portion is for reading, thus giving rise to several possibilities for library visitors, such as; Some visitors come to the library for the purpose of information, reading and meditation. The information we get actually comes from a process of producing information. This is called information discovery theory, starting with: Initiation, formulation, exploration, formulation, collection, presentation. Human behavior in information sources and channels, including active and passive information seeking and use. Keywords: behavior, information search, library circulation

  The goal of this study is to identify the information-seeking patterns of students who are working on their final projects. Students in their last year require a lot of reading materials, both printed and unprinted. Additionally, the sources used ought to be reliable and trustworthy. According to the person conducting the information search, which is decided by the information demands of each individual, information seeking behavior is established. Research undertaken through data collecting, scientific writing that results in research items or library data gathering, or research conducted to solve a problem that is mostly based on critical and in-depth studies constitutes the sort of research used in this study. Advances in information technology also bring fundamental changes in meeting the information needs needed. One of these technologies is the internet, which is an unlimited source of information and can be accessed anytime and anywhere for 24 hours. While printed sources have limited access, namely the place and time and the novelty of the collection. This study aims to find out the information that students are looking for through internet services. The research method used is this research method is qualitative research. The results showed that most of the students taught themselves to search for information through the internet (64.29%), while the frequency of using the internet to search for information was often (70.83%) carried out by most of the students in the library, and in this study half of the respondents' answers stated that students only use the internet once (50%) in one visit to the library, and almost half of the respondents' answers stated that students use the internet during breaks (41.46%). Media Sosial sebagai Pendukung Jaringan Komunikasi Politik 社交媒体是政治交流网络的支持者

  ABSTRACT Individual and group interactions are facilitated by advances in information and communication technology. The state does not fully regulate the flow of communication and news to the general public. Social media that has the ability to disseminate information can be used by messengers to persuade, inspire, and take the desired action. At the same time, the power of the mainstream media is eroding. The aims of this study were to: (1) characterize social media users regardless of their socioeconomic status or political affiliation; (2) examine efforts to reach audiences through social media and traditional media; and (3) recommend future research. (3) investigate the role of social media in democracy as a promoter of parliamentary network technology. To present a comprehensive picture of social media in relation to the political communication networks used by people, organizations and other political institutions, this study uses a qualitative approach. According to the research findings, participants were not constrained by their social, economic or political position. They also differ from conventional mass media in the way they reach audiences and promote the connectivity of political networks in democracies. Sejarah Perkembangan Televisi dan Perannya sebagai Media Dakwah Islam 电视的发展历史及其作为伊斯兰媒体的角色

At first Da'wah only used traditional media, which later developed using modern technology,  one of which was television. Television as a communication medium can be an attractive channel for conveying good messages to the public, besides that television is also close to everyday life. Basically, using technology as a medium of da'wah will help the goals of da'wah be conveyed quickly. This research uses a qualitative approach using descriptive methods. The collection of data used in this study is observation. Observations are made to form a picture of events or the reality of events in order to answer research. Television was first introduced in Indonesia in 1962 and after independence, Indonesia started building intelligence agencies to promote sustainable development. Television was born and developed in Indonesia along with the birth of many communication scientists, so that academic research on television was born. The use of television media in preaching can stimulate the human senses and attract attention. The more precise and effective the wasilah is used, the more effective the effort to understand Islamic teachings will be. In general, the advantage of teevision as a medium of propaganda is that it is very persuasive because the audience can see images and sound directly at the same time. That way television is also very fast, modern, and very convincing. However, even though the advantages of television are very prominent, television is not always the best medium for preaching.     According to UNESCO, one out of every 1000 Indonesians is interested in reading. This study shows that a lack of interest in reading can be an indication of a lack of awareness of Indonesian culture. According to the Central Bureau of Statistics, 4-5 hours a week is the same as the time for collecting and submitting collections of achievements for making collections of printed and recorded works in 2022 of 2,939,008 copies, which are in the National Library and libraries in the regions. It signifies that we will fulfill the demands of our desire to collect small reading books; You could say 1:90, or one book for every 90 people, right?   This study aims to analyze the marketing communication strategy used by Lazatto Unsika 2, in promoting its products to consumers. The development process of globalization was initially marked by advances in information and communication technology, which gradually increased rapidly until finally humans were increasingly spoiled by all existing technology. Likewise in the culinary business world, the promotion and transaction process is easier and more practical to do with digital technology. This has led to an increase in consumer interest in culinary products, and has made the culinary industry one of the most profitable industries and has led to more and more entrepreneurs in this field. The results showed that the marketing communication strategy carried out by Lazatto Unsika 2 in promoting products to its customers in Karawang was very well done. The messages and information conveyed by Lazatto Unsika 2 in increasing customer interest in Karawang are carried out with various interesting and unique promos. The development process of globalization was initially marked by advances in information and communication technology, which gradually increased rapidly until finally humans were increasingly spoiled by all existing technology. Likewise in the culinary business world, the promotion and transaction process is easier and more practical to do with digital technology. This has led to an increase in consumer interest in culinary products, and has made the culinary industry one of the most profitable industries and has led to more and more entrepreneurs in this field. The results showed that the marketing communication strategy carried out by Lazatto Unsika 2 in promoting products to its customers in Karawang was very well done. The messages and information conveyed by Lazatto Unsika 2 in increasing customer interest in Karawang are carried out with various interesting and unique promos.   Information literacy analysis of SDIT Al-Ikhlas reading garden is the focus of this research. Examination of information literacy in the reading garden of the SDIT Al-Ikhlas educational foundation is the subject of this study. Through direct interviews and documentation, this study used a qualitative research approach. Based on the findings of this study, children's magazines, math and science comics, and children's magazines are types of children's collection materials that can be found in reading gardens. Children's comics are the type of children's collection material that is most often read and used, while children's magazines are the type of children's collection material that is rarely used or read.  he influence of mass media on social and cultural interactions is a growing phenomenon. To come up with ideas that provide a thorough understanding of these events in these circumstances may be difficult for scholars who study the mass media. The political economy of media and cultural studies are two categories of critical approaches that share features, strengths, and weaknesses. By paying sufficient attention to these details, the two techniques can complement and learn from each other. This research seeks to study someone's opinion, response, or perception, so the discussion must be qualitative in nature or use descriptive language, so the writer uses a descriptive research methodology. When analyzing texts and explaining various subject positions or views, mass media studies must adopt a multi-perspective approach, or apply a critical methodology. Influencer Marketing sebagai Strategi Public Relations Pada Produk Kecantikan MS Glow

Public Relations (PR) dan pemasaran (marketing) adalah sebuah cabang ilmu yang berbeda disetiap masing-masingnya, namun kedua disiplin ini berevolusi dengan lingkup kegiatan yang lebih besar. Di era globalisasi, di era teknologi komunikasi dan informasi berkembang sangat pesat, seorang praktisi public realitions dituntut untuk dapat bersaing dalam membangun brand image perusahaan yang dikelola terutama dalam Pemanfaatan media online (cyber public realitions) untuk mempromosikan produk dengan ide kreatif berbasis berbagai teknologi informasi dan komunikasi. Internet dipandang sebagai potensi pemasaran yang besar dan menjanjikan bagi para pebisnis untuk melebarkan sayap pemasarannya dan meningkatkan penjualan. Salah satu trend yang sedang terjadi saat ini, promosi yang melibatkan hasil teknologi adalah melakukan promosu dengan melakukan endorsement para artis-artis sosial media atau yang dikenal sebagai influencer.  Dalam promosi ini, para influencer biasanya mendukung penjualanan suatu produk dengan menjadi brand ambassador dari produk tersebut. Salah satunya, produk kosmetik lokal MS Glow Beauty, sebuah brand kecantikan yang dapat memasarkan produknya melalui rekomendasi melalui jasa influencer melalui jejaring sosial Instagram. Meskipun brand MS Glow masih terbilang baru di telinga dibandingkan dengan produk lain yang ada di pasaran, namun tidak dapat dipungkiri bahwa produk skin care MS Glow sudah cukup dikenal di masyarakat.
