This study aims to identify the information needs of users in the UISU library. This research is located at the Islamic University of North Sumatra (UISU) which is located on Jalan Sisingamangaraja, Teladan Barat, Medan Kota District, Medan City, North Sumatra. The method to be used in this research is a qualitative research method which is described descriptively. The technique used in collecting qualitative data is using direct observation techniques. The results of this study concluded that the collections contained in the Library of the Islamic University of North Sumatra (UISU) were insufficient, but each faculty had its own library. Pemilihan Umum (PEMILU) which will later be held in 2024, require every political party to complete factual verification as a condition that must be met. In Law no. 7/2017 explains that political parties that won the election in 2014 have no obligation to win elections for the next period. Certainly this policy is discriminatory towards several political parties that are relatively new, which in the end form a civil society coalition related to the review of article 173 which discusses the necessity of verification to the Constitutional Court. Fundamentalisme bukanlah fenomena tunggal yang dapat ditemukan dalam tradisi keagamaan mana pun. Bisa jadi reaksi terhadap penindasan sosial, politik, atau bahkan budaya yang mengasingkan nilai-nilai spiritual keagamaan bahkan mencabut nilai-nilai agama dari kancah kehidupan modern dengan setumpuk isme oksident-sentris. Bisa juga muncul semata-mata karena paham keagamaan yang diyakini oleh sekelompok penganut agama terhadap doktrin kitab suci. Ia menggunakan metode subjektivis dan objektivis untuk memahami konstruksi fundamentalisme agama dan realitasnya. Menurut pendekatan subjektivis, bekal pengetahuan berupa pengalaman, imajinasi, gagasan, interaksi, dan segala arketipe kehidupan mempengaruhi munculnya fundamentalisme agama di luar otoritas tekstual kitab suci yang diyakininya. The Covid-19 pandemic has brought many changes. Change is so fast that several changes have occurred in human activities. One of them is in the aspect of the world of education. At a time when the Covid-19 pandemic was declared increasingly dangerous, lectures that should have been conducted face-to-face had to be moved remotely or online. This was also experienced by the library science class in 2019. The purpose of this study was to identify differences in student information seeking behavior in meeting information needs before and during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study examines and discusses the communication strategy used by Royale Durian in dealing with the crisis of disposing of durian skin waste through Instagram social media. The research method used is descriptive research with qualitative analysis, this approach is used because the data needed by the author is in the form of information from informants. The data needed in this study were obtained through information from managers and social media officers at Royale Durian. In collecting data, researchers used several techniques, namely observation, interviews, and documentation. The collected data is analyzed by data reduction, data presentation and data verification or drawing conclusions. From the results of the study it can be concluded that the Royale Durian communication strategy has five parts of the strategy used, namely Research, Design, Excute, Measurement or Evaluation, Report. However, there are facts that make it awkward at the plam (planning) and excute (implementation) stages. The obstacle to Royale Durian's communication strategy in dealing with crises is the media factor. Royale Durian also works closely with micro influencers to act as buzzers and hoard negative issues. This study aims to determine the factors that traumatize people from insurance products in the city of Binjai. This research method uses an approach, namely a qualitative approach. The results of this study indicate that in creating people's interest in PT. Asuransi Prudential Syariah, there are triggering things that indoctrinate people's desire for Islamic insurance goods at the start of goods sold to users or the people. Then the invitation made by the agency from PT Asuransi Prudential Syariah to people who already know and use insurance services or who don't understand what insurance is, after that the people's income has no doctrine when the people become prudential sharia customers because the premium payment nominal can be adjusted to the nominal entry of prospective customers/customers. This study aims to describe information seeking behavior through online video media by students of the Faculty of Letters, University of North Sumatra and the information needs of students of the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology, University of North Sumatra with the Uses and Gratification Approach through online video media. This research uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive study type. The research data is in the form of analysis results regarding information seeking behavior through online video media and information needs with the Uses and Gratification approach through online video media. Data collection was carried out using questionnaires and interviews. Instruments used to collect data using questionnaires and structured interviews. Based on the research results, it is concluded as follows. First, students of the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology are able to search for information through online video media with coherent stages, namely starting, chaining, browsing, monitoring, differentiating and extracting. Second, students are able to meet information needs with the Uses and Gratification approach starting from cognitive needs, affective needs, personal integration needs, social integration needs and escape needs. In general, students majoring in the Sociology of Relligion at the University of Indonesia seek informaltion in the library because to meet their information needs, namely in the form of assignments given by the leturer. The research method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive research approach. The level of interest in reading in Indonesia is now very low, libraries were created to meet the needs of the community in finding information, all forms of programs were created to restore and improve people's reading, Indonesia and Malaysia publish as many as 5000 books per year, this indicates that Indonesia's population is so large but so little in their interest in reading, the library needs cooperation in developing the library, it is necessary to create a library network that can encourage people's interest in literacy.
