This paper is devoted to the comparison of the numerically simulated Chua's circuit and the real circuit. The aim of the research was to figure out the factors affecting the computer simulation accuracy, and to find the ways to improve it. It was discovered that the most influence is exerted by an inaccuracy of the nonlinear Chua's diode characteristic measurement, a numerical integration method used for simulation and the operational amplifier properties. A possibility of an analog circuit application as a source of an accurate signal in order to find the most appropriate numerical method for the chaotic systems simulation is shown.

The stress tests are used to reduce the influence of individual characteristics of the subjects on the quality of functional diagnostics of the condition of various body systems. The aim of the study was to develop methods and software for quantitative estimation of parameters of the motor response in children during tourniquet test. The quantitative characteristics of motor response for healthy children and children with inflammatory polyneuropathy was compared. Statistical analysis revealed significant differences (p <; 0.05) of some quantitative parameters of the motor response, characterizing its form and time indicators in normal and inflammatory polyneuropathy. The evaluation of these indicators is useful in diagnostics of functional condition of the neuromuscular system.

The paper proposes a traffic anomaly detection technique which could be implemented in networks of the Internet of things. It is based on using fuzzy logical inference applied to the stationary Poisson or self-similar traffic peculiar to networks of the Internet of things. The algorithms of the modified stochastic approximation and "sliding window", included in the traffic anomaly detection technique, are suggested. Results of an experimental assessment of the technique are discussed.
