Fuzzy linear programming in portfolio selection is considered. Much attention is given to minimax regret criterion which allows minimizing the worst regret that may be undertaken by the decision maker. Regret-analysis is applied to get an optimal portfolio of branch indices.

This paper considers the decision-making technique through the analysis of testing knowledge results under incompleteness of initial information. This technique is notable for determination of testing system parameters as linguistic variables and the probabilistic updating algorithm of membership functions, as well as the decision-making model on the base of the classification of fuzzy situations and the composition model of fuzzy inference rules, that contribute to the well-known statistical models of testing results estimates.

This paper concerns 4-valued logic as a basis for decision support system. We extend classic logic containing 2 values T, F with additional values C (contradiction) and U (uncertainty). This values are introduced for processing contradictory and incomplete information. We consider a generalized interpretation of arguments which determines predicate values for subsets. As a demonstration we consider the application of 4-valued logic for medical prescriptions.

The paper presents the method to forecast the states of elements of the Internet of Things based on using an artificial neural network. The offered architecture of the neural network is a combination of a multilayered perceptron and a probabilistic neural network. For this reason, it provides high efficiency of decision-making. Results of an experimental assessment of the offered neural network on the accuracy of forecasting the states of elements of the Internet of Things are discussed.

This paper presents an approach for development of a diagnostic system on the base of ANFIS networks for creation of reference models of pneumatic servo-motor actuated control valve in the mode without faults. Detection, localization and identification of faults is carried out on the basis of the analysis of extreme values of residuals. The idea of this approach is illustrated on a practical example of the diagnostic task solution for benchmark model of pneumatic servo-motor actuated control valve developed by the European university project DAMADIC'S in MATLAB/SIMULINK.
