Farklı Seyreltik Sodyum Hidroksit Ön İşlem Metotlarının Kargı Kamışı (Arundo donax L.) Bitkisinden Fermente Olabilir Şeker ve Etanol Üretimine Etkileri

This study was conducted to investigate the effects of five different dilute sodium hydroxide (NaOH) pretreatment methods (%1.0, 1.5, 2.0, 2.5 ve 3.0) on bioethanol production from giant reed. Pretreatments were performed in an autoclave at 121 °C for 30 min. Despite the highest reducing sugar yield were obtained from 2.5% NaOH pretreatment method, 1.0% NaOH pretreatment method achieved the highest theoretical ethanol yield. These results shows that 1.0% NaOH pretreatment method can be preferred primarily to achieve a sustainable bioethanol production from giant reed, among the pretreatment methods tested in the study.

Hıyar (Cucumis sativus L.) Bitkilerinde Kadmiyum Toksisitesinin Fotosentetik Aktivite Üzerindeki Etkileri

In this study, the effect of different cadmium [Cd(NO3)2.4H2O] concentrations (0.1 and 1 mM) on photosynthetic activity in a cucumber genotypes (Cucumis sativus L. cv. Beith Alpha F1) was investigated by chlorophyll a fluorescence technique. Photosynthetic pigment (chlorophyll a, chlorophyll b, total chlorophyll and total carotenoid) content was decreased by cadmium toxicity in the leaves of cucumber plants in a dose dependent manner. This result may be explained by the absence of the protective mechanism provided by carotenoids. The decreased level of photosynthetic pigment content in the leaves of cucumber led to the impaired photosynthetic activity as demonstrated by chlorophyll a fluorescence measurement and JIP test. Changes in the chlorophyll fluorescence and JIP test parameters clearly showed that Cd toxicity did not result in the structural damages in reaction center of photosystem II but inhibited the photosynthetic electron transport reactions both in the donor and acceptor side of photosystem II. In addition, it has been observed that Cd toxicity inhibited carbon fixation reactions more strongly in the leaves of cucumber than photochemical reactions. Thus, it may be concluded that photosynthetic activity is impaired primarily due to inhibition of carbon reactions in the leaves of cucumber plants under Cd toxicity.

Farklı Tozlayıcıların Precoce de Tyrinthe Kayısı Çeşidinin Bazı Meyve Özellikleri Üzerine Etkisi

Turkiye, cok sayida Prunus turune sahip bir ulke olarak bu alanda guclu bir potansiyele sahiptir. Prunus turleri ekonomik oneme sahip olan onemli turleri olusturmaktadir. Bu meyve turleri arasinda yer alan kayisida yapilan bu calismada 2019 ve 2020 yillarinda Malatya ilinde yurutulmustur ve Tyrinthe kayisi cesidinde melezleme islahi ile meyve tutumu ve bazi meyve ozellikleri uzerine baba ebeveyn olarak kullanilan Hasanbey, Aprikoz, Hasanbey cesitlerinin etkisi arastirilmistir. Calisma sonuclarina gore 2019 ve 2020 yillarinda da en iyi meyve tutumu Tyrinthe x Hasanbey kombinasyonlarinda sirasiyla %15.8 ve %18.92 olarak gerceklesmistir. Meyve agirligi ve meyve eni degerlerinde her iki yilda da Hacihaliloglu cesidinin baba olarak kullanildigi kombinasyon diger kombinasyonlara gore daha iyi sonuclar meydana getirmistir. Genel olarak baba olarak kullanilan cesitlerin meyve boyuna olumlu etkisi az olurken, SCKM degerlerini arttirici yonde sonuclar meydana gelmistir. Elde edilen sonuclarin ozellikle kayisi islahi calismalarinda fikir beyan etmesi acisindan kullanilmasi islahcilar icin yarar saglayabilir.

Farklı Gelişme Dönemlerinde Yaprak Hasadının Adaçayının (Salvia officinalis L.) Verim, Uçucu Yağ Oranı ve Kimyasal Kompozisyonuna Etkisi

Arastirma, adacayinin ciceklenme oncesi, tam ciceklenme ve ciceklenme sonrasi donemde yapilan hasatta yaprak (daldaki ust, orta ve alt yapraklar) ve cicek verimi, ucucu yag orani ve kimyasal kompozisyonunun belirlenmesi amaciyla yurutulmustur. Isparta Uygulamali Bilimler Unversitesi deneme alaninda 2014 yilinda kurulan 4 yasindaki adacayi plantasyonu materyal olarak kullanilmis ve calisma 2018 yilinda tesaduf bloklarinda faktoryel deneme desenine gore 3 tekerrurlu  planlanmistir.  En yuksek yas ve kuru yaprak verimleri, ciceklenme donemi sonunda orta yaprakta (sirasiyla, 60.89 g/bitki ve 26.06 g/bitki) ve ucucu yag orani ise tam cicekenme doneminde ust yapraklarda (% 1.73) tespit edilmistir. En dusuk yas ve kuru yaprak verimi ciceklenme oncesi donemde alt yapraklarda, ucucu yag orani ise ciceklenme sonu alt yapraklarda belirlenmistir. Yas ve  kuru cicek verimi ve ucucu yag orani tam ciceklenme doneminde ciceklenme sonuna gore dahayuksek olmustur. Adacayinin yaprak ve ciceklerinin ucucu yaginda ana bilesenler olarak 1,8 sineol, β -tuyon, α -tuyon, kafur,  borneol L, karyofillen, α- humulen ve leden onemli bilesenler olarak belirlenmistir. Karaman ili ve Çevresinde Aleyrodidae (Hemiptera: Sternorrhyncha) Faunasının Belirlenmesi

Bu calismada, Karaman ili ve cevresinde 2018 yili Agustos ve Eylul aylarinda, farkli konukculardan toplanan Aleyrodidae familyasina ait turler, pupa kabuguna ait morfolojik tani karakterleri kullanilarak belirlenmistir. Tani calismalari sonucunda, Aleyrodinae altfamilyasinda yer alan Aleyrodes proletella (Linnaeus), Bemisia afer (Priesner&Hosny), Bemisia tabaci (Gennadius), Siphoninus finitimus (Silvestri), Siphoninus phillyreae (Haliday), Trialeurodes vaporariorum (Westwood) ve Tetraleurodes neemani (Bink-Moenen) olmak uzere 7 tur belirlenmistir. Bu calisma ile Karaman ili ve cevresinde bulunan beyazsinek faunasi ilk kez ortaya cikarilmistir.

Red Meat Consumption Structure and Consumer Behavior in the Urban Area of Adana Province 阿达纳省市区红肉消费结构与消费者行为

In this study, to determine the red meat consumption structure and consumer behavior in different income groups, 400 persons have been subjected to a questionnaire. Red meat consumption habits and consumers' family preferences were also determined. According to research findings, the per capita annual intake of red meat was 22,02 kg. It was found that the most favored form of meat was boneless meat regardless of the income level, given the red meat intake of the individuals subjected to this study. In the study, 57.9% of customers prefer conventional butcher shops to purchase red meat when the butcher is known to be familiar. Consumers like red meat because it is inexpensive, nutritious and easy to access. In addition, 30% of customers who partook in the survey were willing to pay more for red meat in food safety. 74.6% of the people who took part in the study were determined to consume more red meat if the price lowered by 30%. In order to analyze the factors that influence the red meat buying place of the families participating in this research the binary logit model was used. As per the results of the logit model it has been established that the family's red meat buying place was influenced by variables like income, education, quantity, proximity, fresh meat, affordable price

It was found that the most favored form of meat was boneless meat regardless of the income level, given the red meat intake of the individuals subjected to this study. In the study, 57.9% of customers prefer conventional butcher shops to purchase red meat when the butcher is known to be familiar. Consumers like red meat because it is inexpensive, nutritious and easy to access. In addition, 30% of customers who partook in the survey were willing to pay more for red meat in food safety. 74.6% of the people who took part in the study were determined to consume more red meat if the price lowered by 30%. Siklamende Türler Arası Melezleme Olanaklarının Araştırılması

Siklamen Myrsinaceae familyasina ait ozellikle Akadeniz havzasin dagilmis 23 tur ile yayilis gostermektedir. Topalamda 23 turun 12’ si Turkiye’de dogal olarak yayilis gostermektedir ve 6 tanesi endemiktir. Turler arasi melezleme yeni cesitler elde etmek icin onemli bir tekniktir. Siklamen turleri gibi turlerde melezleme sonrasi abortif hybrid embriyo olusumu gibi melezleme bariyerleri meydana gelmektedir. Melezleme sonrasi olusan abortif embriyolarin rejenerasyonu icin, yeni turlerin elde edilmesi amaciyla embriyo kurtarma teknigi uygulanmaktadir. Bu calismada ticari siklamen turu olan ‘Maxora’, Turkiye’de dogal olarak yayilis gosteren C. persicum ve C. coum turlerinde karsilikli melezleme yapilmis ve embriyo kurtarma amaciyla tozlamadan 35. gun sonra ovul kulturu yapilmistir. Cicek tomurcugu icerisinden ovuller izole edilmis ve ½ MS + 2.0 mg/l 2,4-D + 0.8 mg/l 2iP ve ½ MS + 0.4 mg/l BA + 0.4 mg/l GA3 iceren besi yerinde kulture alinmistir. Eksplantlardan ½ MS 2.0 mg/l 2,4-D + 0.8 mg/l 2iP besi yerinde %30 oraninda kallus olusumu saglanmistir. Elde edilen kalluslardan embriyoya donusum orani % 19, bitkicik olusumu ise %12 olarak belirlenmistir In vitro rejenerasyon calismalari sonucunda elde edilen bitkilerde aklimatizasyon orani % 29.41 olmustur.

Ağrı İlinde Üreticilerin Meyve Yetiştirme Kararını Etkileyen Unsurlar ve Geleceğe Yönelik Beklentileri

Agri ili sosyo-ekonomik acidan geri kalmis iller arasindadir. Meyve yetistiriciliginin kirsal alanda saglayacagi faydalar dikkate alinarak 2018 yilindan bu yana “Meyve Yetistiriciligi ve Gelistirmesi Projesi” uygulanmaktadir. Ancak, ureticilerin bu projeye katilimlari oldukca dusuk duzeyde kalmistir. Bu calismada, Agri ilinde meyve agaci yetistiren ve yetistirmeyen ureticilerin sosyo-ekonomik ozelliklerinin, meyve yetistiriciligine yonelik kararlarini etkileyen unsurlarin ve gelecege yonelik beklentilerinin karsilastirmali olarak ortaya konulmasi amaclanmistir. Ureticilerin meyve agayi yetistirme kararini etkileyen unsurlar planlanmis davranis teorisi cercevesinde davranisa yonelik tutumlar, kisisel normlar ve algilanan davranissal inanclari olarak uc baslik altinda incelenmis ve ele alinan unsurlarin pek cogunda gruplar arasinda istatistiksel olarak anlamli farklilik bulunmustur. Bununla beraber, Elde edilen bulgular ureticilerin uretim, pazarlama ve uygulanan destekler konusunda bilgi yetersizligi oldugunu gostermektedir. Bu ilde meyveciligi gelistirmek amaciyla ureticilerin engel olarak ifade ettigi unsurlar esas alinarak butunsel bir yaklasim icerisinde tum paydaslara egitim calismalari duzenlenmelidir.
