DEBILIDAD DE LA VOLUNTAD Y AUTOCONTROL: UNA DISCUSIÓN EN TORNO A LA TEORÍA DE LAS FUNCIONES EJECUTIVAS 意志的弱点与自我控制:执行功能理论的讨论

espanolEl presente articulo pretende reflexionar en torno a los conceptos de debilidad de la voluntad y del autocontrol desde la perspectiva de las Funciones Ejecutivas. Al situar el problema de la debilidad de la voluntad en el campo de las fallas en el autocontrol es posible examinar aspectos psicologicos y ambientales que intervienen en dicho fenomeno y tratar de entender cuales son los aspectos generales que le dan origen. En este sentido, se quieren poner en discusion las tesis psicologicas de las Funciones Ejecutivas a partir de la idea de la voluntad extendida para examinar su viabilidad y sus limitaciones. EnglishThis article aims to reflect on the concepts of the weakness of will and self-control from the perspective of the Executive Functions. By locating the problem of the weakness of the will in the field of failures in self-control, it is plausible to examine psychological and environmental viewpoints that intervene in in said phenomenon and try to understand which are the general aspects that introduce. In this sense, it is required to discuss the thesis of the Executive Functions from the idea of the extended willpower to examine its viability and its limitations.

espanolEste trabajo muestra las definiciones postuladas por Lacan y Badiou respecto al termino “antifilosofia” con el primer objetivo de mostrar una concepcion integral del termino y en segundo lugar compararlo con la “filosofia edificante” presentada por Rorty. La antifilosofia es un discurso que no se opone al discurso filosofico sino que tiene un objetivo distinto. Si la filosofia se ocupa desinteresadamente del conocimiento, la antifilosofia tiene siempre presente el interes del individuo. Siguiendo la lectura psicoanalitica (Lacan), filosofica (Badiou, Rorty) y estetica (Groys) pretendemos mostrar una unidad conceptual del termino antifilosofia. EnglishThis paper shows the definitions postulated by Lacan, Badiou and Groys regarding the term "antiphilosophy". The first objective is to present an integral conception of the term. The second objective is compare the notion of antiphilosophy with "edifying philosophy" as presented by Rorty. Antiphilosophy is a discourse that does not oppose philosophical discourse but has a different objective. If philosophy disinterestedly deals with knowledge, the antiphilosophy always keeps the interest of the individual in mind. Following the psychoanalytic (Lacan), philosophical (Badiou, Rorty) and aesthetic reading (Groys) of the term we intend to show a conceptual unity of the concept of antiphilosophy.

LA HERMENÉUTICA GADAMERIANA COMO SÍNTESIS ENTRE EL ENFOQUE CUANTITATIVO Y CUALITATIVO EN LA INVESTIGACIÓN SOCIAL 伽达默尔诠释学作为社会研究中定量和定性方法的综合

The dispute between the supporters of quantitative and qualitative approaches within the social sciences continues to be present. However, when examining the problem the accent has always been placed on the methodological edges of the discussion, leaving aside the epistemological and philosophical elements that may be in the background. In this way, it is understood that a more significant solution to the issue must necessarily come through a philosophical proposal, which, together with raising a foundation for reality or its knowledge, can also be linked to the most relevant characteristics of each approach. In this context, the present paper seeks to propose the hermeneutic of Hans–Georg Gadamer as a possible solution to the mentioned differences, because its universal scope, its accentuation in the interpretation and its circular notion of human understanding provide it with elements that associate it clearly with the philosophy, the epistemology, the qualitative research and the quantitative research.

espanolEn este articulo, se propondra un abordaje de las relaciones interpersonales en contextos de maltrato emocional, las cuales seran caracterizadas como “depredadoras” desde una perspectiva sistemica que toma una metafora ecologica como punto de partida. En primer lugar, se delimitara el denominado “patron relacional depredador”, el cual se despliega en esquemas interaccionales diversos. Luego, se establecera la distincion entre las modalidades epistemologicas que sostienen dicho patron (epistemologia arrogante y epistemologia complaciente), mostrando sus diferencias con una epistemologia asertiva desde la cual dicho patron puede cuestionarse y deconstruirse. Asimismo, se exhibira un conjunto de combinaciones epistemologicas que pueden articularse en una relacion diadica y se ofreceran algunos ejemplos de las denominadas “distorsiones cognitivas, emocionales y pragmaticas” que redundan en los mapas que validan los ecosistemas sociales depredadores. Finalmente, se plantearan algunas ideas acerca del potencial clinico-terapeutico que el ejercicio de reflexion epistemologica supone para el campo interdisciplinar de la salud mental. EnglishIn this article, an approach to interpersonal relationships in contexts of emotional abuse will be proposed, which will be characterized as “predatory” from a systemic perspective that takes an ecological metaphor as a starting point. In the first place, the so-called “predatory relational pattern” will be delimited, which is deployed in diverse interactional schemes. Then, the distinction between the epistemological modalities that sustain this pattern (arrogant epistemology and complacent epistemology) will be established, showing its differences with an assertive epistemology from which said pattern can be questioned and deconstructed. Likewise, a set of epistemological combinations that can be articulated in a dyadic relation will be exhibited and some examples of the so-called “cognitive, emotional and pragmatic distortions” will be offered, resulting in maps that validate the predatory social ecosystem. Finally, some ideas about the clinical-therapeutic potential that the exercise of epistemological reflection supposes for the interdisciplinary field of mental health will be presented.

espanolEl presente articulo es una tentativa de aproximacion y comprension del erotismo como parte inherente de la naturaleza del ser humano, prestando especial atencion a su forma mas extrema: la perversion. Para ello hemos recurrido a la reflexion psicoanalitica de escritos de importantes filosofos, pues el erotismo se extiende a toda la realidad humana y, como tal, hallaremos mas respuestas (y nuevas preguntas) en la conjuncion entre varios campos del saber. Asi pues, se trata de un estudio acerca del erotismo a traves del dialogo entre psicoanalisis y filosofia. EnglishThe present article is a tentative of approximation and comprehension to the eroticism as an inherent part of human nature, paying particular attention to its most extreme form: perversion. In order to accomplish that, we resorted to the psychoanalytic reflection of writings from important philosophers, since eroticism extends itself to the whole human reality and, as such, we will find more answers (and new questions) in the conjunction between several fields of knowledge. Hence, it is a study about erotism via the dialogue between psychoanalysis and philosophy.

LA EXPERIENCIA DE ESTAR PRESENTE EN MEDITADORES ZEN: UNA APROXIMACIÓN FENOMENOLÓGICA 禅修者的当下体验:现象学方法

En la meditacion zen, un componente importante de la practica es el fenomeno de la conciencia del momento presente. Presencia puede ser entendida como una experiencia de conciencia encarnada en el aqui y ahora. Sobre este objeto de estudio, la investigacion ha hecho un abordaje empirico con enfasis en la tercera persona, en desmedro de su estudio subjetivo. El principal objetivo de esta investigacion es estudiar la experiencia de presencia en meditadores zen durante la practica meditativa. Se utilizo el metodo de entrevista micro-fenomenologica para recopilar informacion sobre la experiencia subjetiva de presencia en meditadores. Para analizar los datos, se aplico el metodo de fenomenologia trascendental de Moustakas, lo que permitio encontrar la estructura invariante del fenomeno de estudio. Esta investigacion encontro que la esencia de la experiencia de presencia de los meditadores zen se caracteriza por la sensacion de mantener un contacto puro con la realidad, que origina un cambio en la percepcion del si mismo, los otros y el mundo circundante. Sobre este objeto de estudio, la investigacion ha hecho un abordaje empirico con enfasis en la tercera persona, en desmedro de su estudio subjetivo. El principal objetivo de esta investigacion es estudiar la experiencia de presencia en meditadores zen durante la practica meditativa. Se utilizo el metodo de entrevista micro-fenomenologica para recopilar informacion sobre la experiencia subjetiva de presencia en meditadores. Para analizar los datos, se aplico el metodo de fenomenologia trascendental de Moustakas, lo que permitio encontrar la estructura invariante del fenomeno de estudio. Esta investigacion encontro que la esencia de la experiencia de presencia de los meditadores zen se caracteriza por la sensacion de mantener un contacto puro con la realidad, que origina un cambio en la percepcion del si mismo, los otros y el mundo circundante. Finalmente, se discute que los resultados permiten concebir la meditacion como una experiencia subjetiva de caracter corporizado y de ser-en-el-mundo, elementos que estan abiertos al contexto intersubjetivo. BIPOLAR DISORDER AS FAILURE OF INTERHEMISPHERIC INHIBITION 双相情感障碍是大脑间抑制的失败

This paper has three parts. In the first part we introduce G. Munévar’s hypothesis about the neuroscience of bipolar disorder. According to this hypothesis, bipolar disorder is a failure of interhemispheric inhibition in the frontal lobe. When the electrical activation of the left side overwhelms that of the right, the left frontal lobe dominates, thus leading to exaggerated states of ela- tion (or others that also constitute mania). Dominance in activation by the right side, in turn, leads to states of depression. The neuroscience literature already offers a large amount of support for this hypothesis, as we explain. The second part describes our own study using transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) to successfully decrease positive moods in 25 healthy individuals. This result was obtained by connecting the tDCS electrodes to the right hemisphere of the frontal lobe of participants while they viewed arousing pictures (from the International Affective Picture Scale), which accords with the hypothesis. The third part gives a working outline for a potential new study to establish the hypothesis of frontal lobe interhemispheric inhibition failure in bipolar disorder. This study would use a new functional brain imaging technology based on qEEG: standardized weighted low-resolution electromagnetic tomography (swLORETA). If successful, this study may lead to electrical-stimulation therapy for bipolar disorder patients.

The objective of this work is to show that the rule that establishes that bodies should be thin, installs a rule for the self. A form of feminine subjectification is articulated in this rule, based on an affective prescription. To show this, we present the results of a study that sought to describe and understand the way in which fat is socially constructed. We worked with a qualitative design, with six mixed discussion groups of young people and adults from the city of Santiago de Chile. In the results it is shown that fatness is constructed as an affective problem that represents a transgression of the norm of "Who loves, takes care of itself". In this sense, fatness is explained affectively. Shame is central to show the binding nature, and therefore subjectifying, that this rule of body size has. These rules are focused on women, for which certain nuances are prescribed. One of them is that they must love themselves to be an object of love for another. The conclusions reflect on the implications of this study to investigate the processes of female subjectivation from a Foucauldian perspective.
