Cybersecurity is a problem that is rarely discussed by the public, especially among university students in Malaysia. This study aims to determine the significant differences of cybersecurity awareness between genders and to investigate the significant predictors of the cybersecurity awareness. This study adopts a cross-sectional methodology among UiTM Negeri Sembilan, Seremban Campus students (n=201, 19 to 25 years old) using a questionnaire. The results show that male and female students have the same level of cybersecurity awareness. Meanwhile, gender, age, marital status, faculty, type of social media used, hours spent on social media, attitude and environmental factors do not in any way affect the awareness of cybersecurity among students. The results further show that it is only the knowledge factors that differentiate cybersecurity awareness among them.

Office environment and its relationship with worker productivity is an area of interest for office administrators to set up an office. While most studies proved that there was a significant correlation between the two variables, others presented inconclusive findings. This study explored the relationship between office environment and productivity among the government workers in Kota Belud, Sabah. It focused on four variables of office environment which include furniture, temperature, noise, and lighting. The population of this study are employees in a government institution in Kota Belud, Sabah. This quantitative study employed questionnaire distribution to 115 government employees through convenience sampling method. The findings indicated that the government workers in Kota Belud agreed that office environment does affect their work productivity. All variables of office environment were significant and positively correlated with workers’ productivity. Furthermore, the research reflected that these workers would pay more attention to the quality of office environment aspects for better workers’ productivity and job performance.

The Muslim millennials which refers to those who are Muslim with an age range of birth from 1982-2004, find it easy to change jobs when they feel that their jobs are not suitable for their abilities and interest. Therefore, to be able to face a dynamic and heterogeneous world of work, the application of Islamic human values in resilience and hardiness is important to help them adapt to their future career. Career adaptability is one of the abilities that can help Muslim millennials deal with the transition of environment from college to the work place, as even for a professional employee, being adaptive is still a challenge. Therefore, to be able to face a heterogeneous work environment in the future, the application of Islamic human values in their resilience and hardiness is important. The purpose of this study is to develop a model to improve the career adaptability of the Muslim millennial generation with the lens of Islamic Human Values in resilience and hardiness abilities. Data were collected from 150 of the Muslim millennial generation in one of the Islamic private universities at Semarang and there were two phases, the first phase was qualitative which was conducted by interview and observation and the second phase was quantitative by using a questionnaire. Data analysis tool used was Smart Partial Least Square (PLS) and the amount of data that can be used was 141. The study concludes that Islamic human values have positive significant influence on an individual’s resilience and hardiness. Furthermore, the resilience and hardiness influenced by Islamic human values have a positive significant effect on career adaptability.

This study aims to test and analyze the influence of organizational justice and spiritual value on employee engagement and turnover intention. The population in this study were doctors, paramedics and other non-paramedics at The Unimus Dental and Oral Hospital. Considering the population is only 50 people, the whole sample was used, so this study is a census study. The data source used is primary data obtained from respondents who answered a questionnaire. The data analysis method used is descriptive analysis of variables and partial least square test. The results of this study are 1) organizational justice and spiritual value affect employee engagement, 2) spiritual value and employee engagement are influential in reducing turnover intention, 3) Employee engagement can play a role in mediating organizational justice and spiritual value against turnover intention. The results of this research show that to minimize the turnover intention, there should be efforts on the part of hospital management to provide fairness to its employees, such as the ability to adjust the workload in men and women, the fair attitude of supervisors, the similarity in providing assessments, the importance discussing work results and fair attitudes given by employees in expressing opinions. Other efforts can also be seen from the application of spiritual values at work, namely providing service with earnestly and being courteous to the community or patients.

The arrival of advanced communication and information technologies has changed the method of teaching and learning in the 21st century. Thus, different types of impactful teaching approaches have been applied by educators to ensure that the focus of education is not only to deliver knowledge but also to cultivate students’ problem solving, creativity, collaboration and communication skills. In view of a subject which is totally new to students, they need time to learn and practise the skills learned which include listening, speaking, reading and writing. However, the credit hour for the particular subject is only two hours per week, which is a challenge for the lecturer to guide students in achieving the learning outcomes of the subject and to implement the teaching and learning process. Therefore, the scaffolding teaching method was chosen as an action research to see the impact on student’s learning. The focus of the study was Introductory Mandarin Level 1. The new roles of teachers were applied through a mechanism including self-learning, group discussion, and presentation. Lecturer had designed and created self-learning notes as a reference to help students understand the particular lesson, facilitated students using effective questioning skills and summarized the lesson at the end to scaffold students’ learning. At the end of the semester, students were required to answer a survey questionnaire regarding teaching and learning. This approach gave a positive result which showed that it managed to motivate students to participate in class. Students enjoyed the activities in class and were more active and confident to express their ideas as they understood the topic well during their discussion rather than one way lecture in the class. The business of online food delivery (OFD) services has grown rapidly over the years and more so during the COVID-19 pandemic. To date, a significant amount of research works relating to OFD services have been conducted, however, not many have focused on the intention of using OFD services especially from the youths’ perspective. Hence, the purpose of this study is to examine youth’s intention of using OFD services. The study applied a quantitative approach and the unit of analysis for this study is the youths between 18 to 40 years old, as the potential users of OFD services living in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. Through the cross-sectional data collection approach and purposive sampling technique, 346 samples were collected via an online survey questionnaire. The survey questionnaire was adopted from previous studies with minor modifications, validated and pilot tested. A total of 346 responses were collected and analysed using descriptive and multiple regression analysis. The results indicated all the predictors (convenience motivation, time-saving motivation, price-orientation motivation, and hedonistic motivation) significantly affect youth’s intention towards OFD services. The study contributes to the existing literature on OFD and practical implications to the food industry, food delivery services, and marketers from the youths’ perspective. The study of service quality and clients’ satisfaction has been used by organisations to deliver better services to their clients. While many studies have been done on this topic from the perspective of the public towards the government service, there were few emphases from the perspective of the government servants (G2G) towards the government services offered by other government agencies. This study aimed to investigate the relationship between service quality and clients’ satisfaction among employees at a government agency towards counter services at Urban Transformation Centre (UTC) Kuching, Sarawak. The study includes all five elements of Service Quality Dimensions (SERVQUAL) which were Tangible, Reliability, Responsiveness, Assurance, and Empathy. This study includes all employees of a government agency in Kota Samarahan, Sarawak. Questionnaires were distributed to respondents through Google Form with a returned rate of 88%. It was found that empathy and responsiveness variables had a strong and positive correlation with Clients’ Satisfaction while Assurance, Reliability, and Tangibility had a moderate and positive correlation with Clients’ Satisfaction. These findings implied that clients were more satisfied with services that were handled with care and discretion as well as quickly resolving unexpected issues thus providing insights to government agencies to improve their services. This study aims to find the relationship between the factors that influenced the effectiveness of the training program in the Public Training Institute located in the Eastern Region of Malaysia amidst the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic from early 2020 to date. Many PTIs have to strive in maintaining their operation during the pandemic with limitations of movements and changes in teaching approaches. The data was collected by using a set of questionnaires that was distributed online through WhatsApp (using a GoogleForm link) to all of the respected respondents that consist of training participants. The data was analysed by using Pierson Correlation Coefficient. The study discovered that all the factors (Improvement in Knowledge and Skills, Content of Courses, Training Approaches, and The Performance of Facilitators) have a strong association with the effectiveness of the training program during the pandemic. Thus, all factors have given effect to the level of effectiveness of the training program in all PTIs across the Eastern Region of Malaysia amidst the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic.
