The Big Data contains essential information for large organizations to provide new insight potential. Due to the new technological developments that have developed with Industry 4.0, data is produced in increasing volumes. Data Sharing Platforms are needed to cope with the volumes of this data and to transform data into valuable information. In line with this need, a document-based data-sharing platform software architecture is proposed within the scope of this research. The Data Sharing Platform Architecture we recommend; is designed for a document-based data management platform designed to process data at scale for analytical purposes. In the proposed study, Metadata management is used to prevent the large volume of data obtained from becoming complex and unusable. The proposed architecture has a metadata store with an enriched toolset to identify the data owner and store the version and lineage information. In the study, to provide easy access to the correct data, the locations of the data needed are shown to the users in detailed figures. To clean the data in the most appropriate quality, additional development studies are integrated into the system that will enable the user to pre-process the data. There is an operational security control to use the data securely. A standard user group management, which may vary according to operating systems, is integrated into the proposed software architecture. Again, the proposed software architecture categorizes the data by tagging it in stochastic data sets. It can offer suggestions in a way that can make suggestions according to the roles of the following users. In addition, a version and rule adaptation method is provided to deal with changes over time. A personalized rule customization method is proposed to meet the system's need to respond to the specific needs of each user.We present the details of the document-based data-sharing platform software architecture we are developing within the scope of this conference paper.

Measuring the pH is very important to reveal the possible health problem risks of pets with early diagnosis, to enhance their quality of life and prevent negative effects on their health. However, measuring the pH level of cats and dogs urine’s is very painful and stressful process,especially during their birth duration. Accordingly, to support parents and veterinarians in this urine collection process, ‘pH Measuring pad for underpad’ project is studied. Using this ped will be quick, painless and guiding method. In addtion to these, environmental pollution which is known by all over the world is increasing. In order to prevent this pollution, several projects has been studied in this issue and also, all raw materials have been selected as be bio-based. In this newly studies under pad project, when animal health is considered, raw materials selection is made on the basis of protecting the nature. The product which contains special indicator emphasizes the innovative aspect of the project by perforemin health checks for pets. The raw materials which use in this project is selected from having higher mechanical properties ones and also, their processability is evaluated. Formulation is obtained by mixing suitable raw materials in certain proportions. First of all, there is a print on top of this pad. This print is made with a bio ink which includes pH indicator. By means of this ink, after the pets leave their urine on the pad, observing of color change can be possible according to the urine’s pH level. Ideally, urine’s pH value should be aroud 6.5 for cats and dogs as be considere a healthy level. IF the pH is acisic (below 5.5/6) or alkaline (above 7/7.5), there may be bacteria, crystals, an imbalnce in blood values or a sign of illness, which can have a nagative impact on pet’s health. In this study, an analytical concept is explored in the simulation environment, and an unbalanced load detection technique is examined to determine its applicability. To continue the development process, a mathematical model for a horizontal washer is developed to comprehend the characteristics of an unbalanced load with respect to various sizes of balanced loads. The mathematical model is then divided into a regressor vector and an estimator vector. Finally, estimates of the unbalanced load, the unbalance location, and the rotational moment of inertia are compared to their references in the simulation environment.

In heavy commercial vehicles, The parts that transfer the movement in the steering box to the wheels are called drag links. Drag links are bent in different geometries due to vehicle designs and other components in the steering system. Drag links are exposed to repeated tension and compression forces on the vehicle depending on the road conditions and the loads on the vehicle. In this study, static buckling forces and fatigue behavior of a drag link were determined according to different bending radii and the effect of bending radius on drag link life was investigated.

EFQM Excellence Model is a management model prepared by the European Quality Management Foundation in 1982 with the support of service and production organizations in the global arena and continuously updated. The last version updated in 2019 is known as EFQM 2020 Excellence Model. It provides guidance from 7 differentiated management perspectives on the way to perfecting the management processes of institutions. With this project, Process Management Application, Risk Management Application, Balanced Scorecard Application, Internal Audit Application, Corporate Self Evaluation Application and Process Blueprint Automation Application will be managed integrally. As mentioned, the software designed in 6 dimensions includes the design and management of processes, identification, and management of risks, detailed strategic planning and management with scorecard methodology, detection of internal excellence problem with self-assessment tools and digital monitoring of all applied processes with integrated automations. When performing EFQM applications, institutions use non-native and highly consistent applications or keep the details in MS Office applications with their own settings. With the Corporate Excellence Model Project, it was ensured that the management and reporting of Process data was facilitated. To ensure the data integrity of the institutions in EFQM applications and to provide convenience, speed, and performance to the institutions. First, it is ensured that the organizational charts and ties of the institutions are created, all processes are defined and from here the status of the organizational ties and processes can be followed. All management stages of processes are drawn using specific visual objects. In the process drawings, details such as who should perform the process steps, time information related to the realization of the step, process risk information, identification of process stakeholders and owners, definition of process control details, etc. can be defined in detail. Using these data, different reports were created with the data created in the drawings to facilitate the EFQM application and to perform data analysis.To meet the additional demands of institutions, the application is designed with a flexible structure. Drawings include features such as the ability to add additional objects and reports.It was ensured that application costs were reduced, and process change errors and bottlenecks in production and service applications could be detected in advance.

In this study, the leaf spring in the clutch disc, one of the lower parts of the clutch, which is one of the most important motion transmission systems of motor vehicles, has been examined. One of the most important parts are ensure the working performance of the clutch and a comfortable gear shift to the user is the leaf spring, which is mounted with rivets inside the clutch disc. There are bends on the leaf spring at acute angles and heights. These bends absorb the axial force that the clutch disc is exposed to and enable the clutch to be realized in the optimum time interval. In this study, the radius of the bends on the leaf spring was changed and the effect of this change on the leaf spring reaction force was investigated. After the tests and finite element analyzes, the enlargement of the bending radius reduces the reaction force of the clamp load against the compression force. The decrease of this force, which is opposite to the direction of the clamp load, increases the functional force of the clamp load and provides more torque transmission.

Conservation of historic areas defining the urban identity of the cities emerged in research on urban planning activities in Turkey only after the 1970s. However, the term ‘integrity’ was yet to be included in the national conservation legislation. In the historic city of Bursa, however, conservation decisions on the sustainability of traditional fabric had already been taken in 1960 with Piccinato’s plan. Accordingly, demolished landmark buildings in the Historic Trade Centre were reconstructed; so although authenticity was lost, the spatial integrity of the area was kept. Afterward, thirteen conservation plans for historic regions were prepared from 1981 to 2007, with the participation of experts from various institutions. The primary aims of these plans were to provide structural and spatial integrity of associated historic areas, improve living conditions, and avoid gentrification during the urban development of Bursa. However, it is impossible due to the lack of a holistic approach to the application process. This study aims to present the dilemma observed in implementing conservation decisions taken from the 1980s until the 2000s, which pose problems regarding the integrity of the historic urban fabric in Bursa. It sets off with a brief description of the significance of integrity in urban conservation while highlighting Bursa as a pioneering city, where holistic decisions on the sustainability of its historic urban identity were taken through conservation development plans –much earlier than the rest of the country. The contradictions between conservation plans and their implemented forms are subsequently discussed to understand the level of achievement in ensuring the integrity of its urban identity. Hence, it is claimed that the traditional urban fabric of Bursa could not be preserved with its natural and architectural values since the aim of holistic conservation in related plans was implemented inconsistently.

Excessive settlement of clayey soils and low-bearing capacity leading to damage and collapse of the structure induce problems in infrastructure construction. Various ground improvement methods are used to solve this problem. The purpose of these methods, in which the cement mixture is included, is to increase the soil bearing capacity and to reduce the soil settlement. In this study, total plastic and consolidation settlement analysis of sandy-clay soil model mixed with cement by different percentages (5%, 10%, 15%) are made. The physical and mechanical properties of the improved clay-cement soil are obtained based on the results available in the literature and in the laboratories of Istanbul Aydın University. A Finite Element program was used to perform static analysis. Static analysis of the soil was carried out under different loads (50, 100, 150, 200 kPa). The results showed that fort he plastic analysis, the 15% cement treated soil had 25% total deformation less than the untreated soil. Considering the same soil profile, for consolidation analysis, the decrease was observed to be 28% at the end of 7 days.

The main heat transfer mechanism in industrial infrared furnaces is the radiation. Thus, the view factor between the thermal power source infrared resistance and the material exposed to heat treatment is important. In traditional infrared furnaces wire mesh conveyors are preferred, but because the wire mesh conveyor is very frequent, heating can only be applied towards one surface of the material. For this reason, the conveyor speed is slowed down or the useful length of the furnace is increased in order to achieve temperature homogeneity and the desired capacity, especially on thick-section materials. With the innovative independent driven wire conveyor system developed within the scope of the study, different from traditional furnaces, heating can be applied bidirectionally, and thus, it has become possible to manufacture more compact furnaces. In addition, with the spare wires included in the conveyor system, in case of a possible malfunction or breakage, wire replacement is facilitated and maintenance times are reduced to a minimum. The aforementioned wire conveyor system has been protected by a patent application.

In traditional infrared furnaces wire mesh conveyors are preferred, but because the wire mesh conveyor is very frequent, heating can only be applied towards one surface of the material. For this reason, the conveyor speed is slowed down or the useful length of the furnace is increased in order to achieve temperature homogeneity and the desired capacity, especially on thick-section materials. With the innovative independent driven wire conveyor system developed within the scope of the study, different from traditional furnaces, heating can be applied bidirectionally, and thus, it has become possible to manufacture more compact furnaces. In addition, with the spare wires included in the conveyor system, in case of a possible malfunction or breakage, wire replacement is facilitated and maintenance times are reduced to a minimum. The aforementioned wire conveyor system has been protected by a patent application.","PeriodicalId":117452,"journal":{"name":"Orclever Proceedings of Research and Development","volume":"157 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-12-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129205517","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
