Autonomous Coupling System for Goods Rail Traffic a robotic solution for marshalling yards handling hook-and-chain couplings 货物轨道交通自动耦合系统——编组站处理钩链耦合的机器人解决方案

As globalization demands more and more flexible cargo logistics, freight trains play a big role in moving goods between production sites. Estimations show that goods rail traffic will increase and new solutions to handle wagons will be needed. Today cargo freight trains in Europe are still manually coupled via the hook-and-chain-coupling, a technology older than 100 years. A solution to allow a faster, safer and automated way is a coupling robot installed below the cargo trains at marshalling yards. This solution can be implemented gradually and with no change on rolling stock giving time to implement the long-term solution of an automatic coupling allowing ETCS Level 3 in the future.

Comparison of core material of high frequency transformer for offshore wind generation 海上风力发电高频变压器铁芯材料比较

In this paper, we compare the core loss of the core material of three phase high frequency transformers for offshore wind generation. We prepared different transformers of four kinds of materials. Instead of simulation, actual high frequency transformers are compared.

Optimum Designed Multilayer Switched Reluctance Motors for use in Electric Vehicles to Increase Efficiency 优化设计用于电动汽车的多层开关磁阻电机以提高效率

The purpose of this paper was to investigate the optimal design of multilayer switched reluctance motors for use in electric vehicles. The method presented in this paper is to raise the efficiency of switched reluctance motor. Toyota Prius motor design was based on the true size of geometry motor with a conventional motor with the same power rating Switched Reluctance Motor 6 to 4 compared with the same surface area and Size, Using optimal design constraints Switched Reluctance Motor 4 to 4 five-layer, Switched Reluctance Motor 4 to 4 seven-layer is studied. By examining the different modes including changing arc stator and rotor, change teeth stator and rotor and the change in the air gap, we select the best structure. The motor design and relations governing method was developed using simulation software Magnet diagrams torque around the axis Z, speed, flux density was obtained. Switched Reluctance Motor Multilayer also increase more space occupied, but due to the empty space between the layers is cooling easier. Efficiency of Switched Reluctance Motor Multilayer to more Switched Reluctance Motor conventional compared. Use Switched Reluctance Motor 4 to 4 Multilayer in an electric vehicle, due to the low cost of this motor is more advantageous than the Toyota Prius motor.

A New SiC-GaN-Based Two-Phase Interleaved Bidirectional DC-DC Converter for Plug-In Electric Vehicles 插电式电动汽车用新型sic - gan两相交错双向DC-DC变换器

Wide Band Gap (WBG) semiconductor technologies such as Silicon Carbide (SiC) and Gallium Nitride (GaN) are considered as the future of power electronic devices. Especially, in hard-switching applications where switching power losses are important, GaN devices are more attractive because of their very low gate charge amount. On the other hand, universal dc-dc power converters in Electric Vehicles (EVs) are coming into attention to be replaced with two power electronic modules: dc-dc battery charger and dc-dc traction drive. Unfortunately, current lateral GaN devices are not applicable in high power dc-dc traction drive, neither in universal dc-dc converters because of their limited current rating. As a solution, a two-phase dc-dc converter is proposed in this paper in which one phase is SiC-based MOSFET and the other one is GaN-based transistor. To reach the maximum utilization of the GaN device, the output power will be shared through the two phases, based on the current rating of the GaN device. First, the power stage design and the average model of the converter are presented. Then, power losses and efficiency of the converter is investigated in comparison with an all-SiC converter through spice-based simulations. The simulation results highlight the higher efficiency of the proposed converter.

Opportunities for Energy Storage to Provide Spinning Reserve in Cordova, Alaska 能源储存在阿拉斯加科尔多瓦提供旋转储备的机会

The potential benefits from energy storage deployment are highly location dependent. In market areas, remuneration is largely based on market products and prices. In a vertically integrated utility, the benefits are often monetized through cost savings. This paper quantifies the potential benefits of using an energy storage system to provide spinning reserve within the Cordova Electric Cooperative (CEC) grid. The CEC is a small rural electrical cooperative in Cordova, Alaska. Energy storage is being considered to provide spinning reserve. The cost saving is realized through reduced fossil fuel consumption and run time on the diesel generators. In this paper, the cost savings are used to determine the benefit-to-cost ratio for various energy storage configurations. Additional potential benefits of energy storage for the CEC are also presented.

Discrete realization of MRAScc estimator of induction motor speed using analogue emulation 异步电机速度估计器MRAScc的离散化仿真实现

In this paper the discrete realization of MRAScCestimator of the induction motor speed is analyzed. The influence of the type of the discretization method on the stability range of this estimator is tested. Three most popular discretization methods have been taken into account: the forward and backward Euler methods and the Tustin method. The influence of the discretization step is tested and the speed limit for the estimator stability is determined. Entire analysis is validated by simulation results in wide range of speed variation of induction motor drive, which was controlled by a field-oriented method, for various values of the discretization step.

Towards autonomous EV by using Virtual Reality and Prescan-Simulink simulation environments 利用虚拟现实和Prescan-Simulink仿真环境实现自动驾驶汽车

The paper presents the main results of a study which is dealing with the use of the virtual reality (VR) concept employed for the study of an electric vehicle (EV). The VR study is important before the real implementation of the autonomous-driving of the EV, since it is more efficient and safe to evaluate its operation in a simulation environment. Here, Prescan software is used to develop the VR interface, while Simulink is used to model the entire EV (controller and propulsion unit included). A set of specific sensors can be placed and configured for the autonomous driving in the VR software and the most realistic conditions (i.e., traffic signs and weather conditions, pedestrians, road profiles etc.) can be simulated. It is also possible to program a real control unit via Simulink interface, which is to be used for the supply of a real propulsion motor, via a battery. Thus, the best realistic conditions are evaluated in the VR environment, and thus one could precisely estimate the autonomy of the vehicles in the perspective of evaluating/improving its energy management.

Available peak power prediction algorithm of Li-ion battery using piecewise-linear OCV model 基于分段线性OCV模型的锂离子电池可用峰值功率预测算法

Available peak power of Li-ion battery is crucial index describing ability of consistent energy supply. Among constraints to obtain the index, voltage limit is the most restrictive because of additional voltage drop by impedance. For short time prediction, linear approximation of the open-circuit voltage (OCV) has advantage of simple calculation. However, the prediction of the OCV has large errors especially for the long time interval. Therefore, this paper proposes piecewise-linear model of the OCV for prediction of the available peak power. The simulation and experimental result shows that the proposed method has significantly lower errors than the linear approximation.

Commercial Load Sector Models for Power Flow and Power Quality Analysis 用于潮流和电能质量分析的商业负荷部门模型

In this paper, a component-based modelling methodology is applied to the commercial load sector. This approach allows for greater insight into the temporal variations in the electrical characteristics of the commercial load sector than currently available modelling practices. This is illustrated by analyzing the half hourly changes in the voltage dependency of the demand and harmonic distortion of a generic UK commercial load sector representation; however, the methodology can be applied wherever similar datasets exist. The results highlight differences between on-peak and off-periods, and provide a useful starting place for probabilistic model development.

A comparative analysis of Oscillating Water Column turbines 振荡水柱式水轮机的比较分析

Wave energy seems to be one of the most promising alternatives to the current energy issue. Pursuant to this fact, different devices have been developed so as to harness the energy that waves contain. Amongst all of them, Oscillating Water Column-based systems arise as the preferable technology in the scientific world. Many efforts have been made in order to optimize the power extraction. However, there is still a long way to go in many areas, such as the correct turbine selection for a specific power plant. Therefore, this paper is devoted towards the comparison of different turbines existing nowadays for the case study of the Mutriku power plant.
