Mechanism underlying the inhibitory effect of Elaeagnus Conferta Roxb on TNF –α induced NF- kB nuclear translocation in non- small lung cancer A549 cell line using Flow cytometry 用流式细胞术研究白菖蒲对TNF - α诱导的非小肺癌A549细胞NF- kB核易位抑制作用的机制

Our study examined for the inhibitory effect of ethanolic extract of Eleagnus Conferta Roxb leaves on TNF –α induced NFkB nuclear translocation in lung cancer A549 cell line using flow cytometry. Apoptosis also studied to know about the antiproliferative and anticancer effects. However, our results revealed in apoptosis, Elaeagnus conferta Roxb leaves showed (33.54%) increased in proportion of cells. In the study of pre-treatment of A549 cells with Elaeagnus conferta Roxb leaves followed by TNFα caused the increased proportion of cells (20.78%) at apoptosis induced cell death, which was statistically significant (p< 0.001). The untreated A549 cells had minimal NF-kB expression (0.25± 0.01%). However, the approach of A549 cells with Elaeagnus conferta Roxb had induced NF-kB production many fold (11.50± 1.05%). Therefore, we conclude our study was proved the impact of Elaeagnus conferta Roxb leaves inhibit the cellular growth of NSCLC-A549 cell line and induces apoptosis. Hence, from our findings, we proved this plant has anticancer activity, further feasibly taken for drug formulation .

EXTRACTION, ISOLATION AND PURIFICATION OF VARIOUS COMPONENTS OF CASSIA UNIFLORA AND IT’S IN VITRO STUDIES 决明子各成分的提取、分离纯化及体外研究

Cassia species are one among the plants to possess great therapeutical value due to their wide rage of pharmacological activities. Hence, in our present study, we have isolated the extract of Cassia uniflora and isolated some important constituents using various solvents among which methanolic extract was optimal. The isolated compounds were also characterized by mass and IR spectroscopy. The extract was further checked for anti-oxidant as well as anti-diabetic activity. From the results obtained, the leaves and fruit extract were found to have good alpha-glucosidase as well as 5-lipoxygenase inhibition.

In silico study: Assessment of the inhibition of cyclo-oxygenase 2 by ibuprofen by validating molecular docking and cardiovascular effects reported during the COVID 19 pandemic 计算机研究:通过验证COVID - 19大流行期间报道的分子对接和心血管效应,评估布洛芬对环加氧酶2的抑制作用

Introduction The Covid 19 pandemic has put the cardiovascular risk incurred when using nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs at the heart of the discussion. Based on the information currently available, WHO does not recommend the use of ibuprofen. the objective is to evaluate the inhibition of cyclooxygenase 2 by ibuprofen by validating molecular docking. Method The crystallographic structure of ibuprofen bound to cyclooxygenase-2 was obtained from the Protein Data Bank (PDB) at a resolution <3.00 Å. The receiver was visualized using Discovery Studio Visualizer version 2.5.5. It was efficiently prepared using AutoDock / Vina software. The 3D structure of Ligand (Ibuprofen) was downloaded from the Drugbak database (https://www.drugbank.ca/): Accession number DB01050 Results Molecular docking was chosen as the first-line discrimination of the ibuprofen-COX2 intercation for the in silico study of putative competitors. The complex formed by Ibuprofen-COX 2 from the experimental model gives a docking score (Affinity: -7.3 (kcal / mol) with a mean square deviation of (RMSD = 23.884). Conclusion The evaluation of the inhibition of cyclo-oxygenase 2 by ibuprofen was validated by molecular docking. Cardiovascular effects already reported in patients treated with traditional non-steroidal antiinflammatory drugs and coxibs have been observed in patients with COVID 19. Molecular docking becomes an essential step in drug discovery to explore other drug targets

NON-SMALL CELL LUNG CANCER (NSCLC) - A COMPREHENSIVE REVIEW 非小细胞肺癌(nsclc) -一个全面的回顾

Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC) is the most commonly diagnosed type of cancer globally and is the leading cause of cancer death in men and second leading cause of cancer death in women. The frequently seen subtypes of NSCLC in patients are adenocarcinoma, Squamous cell carcinoma and large cell carcinoma. Lung cancer, depending on the stage and kind, it may act differently in each individual. The usual symptoms may include cough, hemoptysis, fatigue, SOB, chest pain, loss of weight etc. and these symptoms differ depending on the site of metastasis. Tobacco smoking is known to the main aggravating risk factor of lung cancer. Other factors like occupational exposure to chemicals and ionizing radiation, passive smoking, genetics, air pollution, diet and alcohol may all contribute in developing of lung cancer in the individuals. Different mechanisms are involved in the development of the tumor in the body. Large number of diagnostic procedures are available to diagnose the lung cancer. Appropriate procedure for diagnosis is selected depending on the site, type, metastasis and size of the tumor. The fundamental basis for the management of cancer is the stage classification. Clinical stage in the patients can be determined by their laboratory results, bronchoscopy findings, imaging tests and by physical examination. Subsequently patients are staged between stage-1 to stage-4. Different types of treatment options are available for treating NSCLC which includes surgery, radiation therapy, chemotherapy, targeted therapy, immunotherapy, palliative care. The main objective of this review is to provide the updated epidemiology, risk factors, diagnostic procedures, staging and treatments for NSCLC.

The assessment of pharmacists’ willingness to join a pharmaceutical care pilot project in Poland 波兰药剂师加入药学服务试点项目的意愿评估

The primary objective of this paper is to determine the willingness of pharmacists to take part in a pilot project of pharmaceutical care, and to indicate the factors influencing these decisions. Methods. The study was conducted using an anonymous online questionnaire. 123 Polish pharmacy staff members participated in the study. Results. The vast majority of the pharmacists (84%) wanted to join the pharmaceutical care pilot project. The main benefits of pharmaceutical care perceived by the respondents included a reduced number of medication errors, an increase in the prestige of the profession, and job satisfaction. Those who noticed more benefits from pharmaceutical care expressed more willingness to implement it (p<0.001). Conclusions. Pharmaceutical care, focused on improving the quality of pharmacotherapy, is essential for public health. Polish pharmacists are ready to implement pharmaceutical care in their pharmacies. They indicate the provision of training sessions in this area as a key element of the implementation of these services.

Prefilled syringe are convenient device for the drug delivery of parental dosage form. There is easy to makes and delivering the precise dosage of the medication. The content of this review article is component of Prefilled syringe, application of Prefilled syringe, compatibility study of the drug product with the packing material, Extractable and leachable and challenge’s with the Prefilled syringe. This type of knowledge can familiarize the formulation scientist. In the use of Prefilled syringe as both packing and delivery system for pharmaceutical drug product is accelerating. Prefilled syringe must meet the quality, stability and efficacy for both system including with the drug product. In that, the incompatibility study between the drug product and Prefilled syringe including the safety of the drug product. In that the ability of the extractable and leachable to interact with the drug product ingredients and they can affect the safety, efficacy and stability of the drug product.

Generally, Metaheuristic algorithms such as ant colony optimization, Elephant herding algorithm, particle swarm optimization, bat algorithms becomes a powerful methods for solving optimization problems. This paper provides a timely review of the bat algorithm and its new variants. Bat algorithm (BA) is a Swarm based metaheuristic algorithm developed in 2010 by Xin-She Yang, BA has been inspired by the foraging behavior of micro bats, algorithm carries out the search process using artificial bats as search agents mimicking the natural pulse loudness and emission rate of real bats. It has become a powerful swarm intelligence method for solving optimization prob-lems over continuous and discrete spaces. Nowadays, it has been successfully applied to solve problems in almost all areas of opti-mization, and it found to be very efficient. As a result, the literature has expanded significantly, a wide range of diverse applications and case studies has been made base on the bat algorithm.

Altitudinal Variation in Alkaloid Composition of Hyoscyamus niger: A study with reference to Kashmir region of Himalayas 黑山药生物碱组成的海拔变化——以喜马拉雅克什米尔地区为例

The present study has been undertaken to understand the impact of altitude on the synthesis of alkaloids in Hyoscyamus niger found in Kashmir valley of J&K state in India. Given its wide distributional range, the study aimed to quantify the alkaloids (hyoscyamine and scopolamine) in Hyoscyamus niger grown at various altitudes in Kashmir valley. The sampling of populations at varying altitudes allowed assessing the intraspecieac variation and ecological trends of accumulation of alkaloids in the plant. Furthermore the resource allocation in the parts of the plant has also been shown. The four different sites were Gulmarg, Pahalgam, Gurez and Qazigund in Kashmir valley. The study was able to identify the elite genotype and the best suited habitat (altitude) for commercial cultivation of the species with higher quantity of alkaloids.

Digital age has reform decision making especially in medical field through information and communication technology which become inevitable part of our lives. this paper illustrates the implementation constraint that encompasses developing Fuzzy Expert System (FES) for diagnosis of common diseases usually found in Taraba State. The paper, shows how fuzzy expert works through four distinct phases. It is discovered that the ratio of doctors to patients and the ratio of hospitals to doctors in Taraba is too low. Different literature that discussed how expert systems for diagnosing various diseases were reviewed; Interview, clinical observation, asking question and internet services were used as methodology for accomplishing this paper. Result were illustrated and finally conclusion was drowned which shows that e-medical solution for diagnosing disease would do well in Taraba because of the opportunities it offers but it loaded with challenges and implementation constraint.

Addressing a few misleading concepts in physics 解决物理学中一些误导性的概念

This paper is concerned with a few misleading issues which are widespread in scientific literature. With a view to getting rid of the ambiguities present in the traditional literature regarding the said issues, proposed solution to each of those issues has been offered. The author feels that with a view to deepening thought and understanding as well as to upgrade the relevant literature at undergraduate level, it is a high time to consider immediate implementation of the present proposal in regard to the pertinent issues raised in this contribution.
本文关注的是科学文献中普遍存在的一些误导性问题。为了消除关于上述问题的传统文献中存在的含糊不清之处,对每一个问题都提出了解决办法。作者认为,为了深化思考和理解,并提高本科水平的相关文献,现在是考虑立即实施本论文中提出的相关问题的时候了。
