A study of right and left brain dominant students at IB&M with respect to their gender, age and educational background. IB&M大学左右脑优势学生性别、年龄及教育背景的研究。

Managers all over the world each day combat the challenges associated with Managing the workforce. In order to unravel their truest potential managers have to understand them and motivate or sometimes above that i.e. to ignite the spark that gives the momentum to their capabilities that make them productive and give them an everlasting happiness. Management is termed as Right brain activity. It involves dealing with the human mind and emotions which are very complex and variable unlike the scientific method which we perceive management to be. In order to check the co-relation of the right and left brain people research was carried out. This study was conducted with approximately 50 Business students with a survey, as well as a comprehensive review and analysis of literature concerning the brain. This study would help the instructors to understand the fact Management is not a science and based on the number of left or right Brain students the current teaching methodology of Business students can either be revised or transformed altogether.

The pot experiment was carried out during September 2015 to January 2016 at instructional farm, College of Agricultural Engineering, UAS Raichur under rain shelter to study the effect of different water regimes, (i.e. T1:100, T2:90, T3:80, T4:70, T5:60 and T6:50) per cent of water application with available moisture holding capacity on grain yield and water use efficiency. Completely Randomized block design with four replications was used in this study. The results showed that there was significant difference between the yield and (WUE) under different levels of irrigation. The total irrigation water applied were (i.e., 211.98, 243.02, 225.78, 155.09, 135.51 and 105.62 mm/plant) under different water regime treatments (100, 90, 80, 70, 60 and 50 %) of available moisture holding capacity (AMHC) respectively. Grain yield productions under different treatments were 106.25, 171.25, 127.50, 75, 55 and 40.75 g/plant/pot at 100, 90, 80, 70, 60 and 50 per cent of AMHC respectively. The results showed that water use efficiency (WUE) at different treatments were 0.50, 0.70, 0.56, 0.48, 0.41 and 0.39 g/mm for (100, 90, 80, 70, 60 and 50 %) per cent of AMHC respectively. Therefore, the 90 % of AMHC treatment (T2) is recommended for groundnut irrigation for water saving. The comparison of actual crop coefficient that obtained by water balance technical in experiment and crop coefficient (Kc) values of groundnut for different crop growth stages were selected based on the values suggested by FAO are similar in the treatment of 90 % (T2) of the AMHC. Furthermore, the result showed that the treatment of 90 per cent of Available moisture holding capacity (T2) seemed to be better adapted to product a high crop yield with acceptable yield coupling with water use efficiency in this region.

A review on theoretical models of suicide 自杀理论模型综述

Suicide is a major public health issue which is highly complex and multifaceted. Subsequently, after the pioneering work of Durkheim and Freud, researchers and scholars have attempted to explain the biological, social, and psychological nature of suicide. The present work presents an overview of different theoretical models underlying the development of suicidal behaviour. Hence the theory components will be a better understanding of the causal mechanisms of suicide and it will lead to improving the intervention strategies for suicidal behaviours.

Bound lengths for Burr-XII distribution under step-stress PALT 步进应力PALT下Burr-XII分布的界长

Some inferences based on Step-Stress Partially Accelerated Life Test (SS-PALT) are discussed in the present article. The Progressive Type-II censoring criterion with Random Removal scheme is used for determining the Approximate Confidence Lengths and One-Sample Bayes Prediction Bound Lengths for the unknown parameters of the Burr Type-XII distribution. Based on the simulated data, the analysis of the present discussion has been carried out.

Responses of Utasi (Gongronema latifolium) to NPK 15:15:15 Fertilizer Rates in a Utisol South-South Nigeria 南尼日利亚乌蒂索地区乌塔西(Gongronema latifolium)对氮磷钾15:15:15施肥量的响应

Gongronema latifolium (Benth) called Utasi by Igbos and Arokeke by Yorubas belongs to Ascepiadaceae family. It is an herbaceous climbing plant found in the tropical region. The leaves are used for food, culinary, medicinal and other domestic purposes. The plant is found among the wild and is not cultivated in regular farms. It is one of the endanger species that stands the risk of been extinct. Therefore, the study was carried out to determine the responses of Gongronema latifolium to seven rates of NPK 15:15:15 fertilizer during 2014 and 2015 cropping seasons at the Teaching and Research Farm, Agronomy Department, Cross River University of Technology Obubra, Cross River State, Nigeria. The experimental design was a randomized complete block design. Treatments were seven rates; 0kg/ha, 50, 100, 150, 200, 250 and 300kg/ha of NPK (15:15:15) fertilizer replicated four times. Results showed that application of 300kg/ha of NPK 15:15:15 fertilizer gave a higher number of leaves, branches per plant and tallest plants than the other rates of NPK fertilizer. The highest leaf yields in hectares were obtained in plots treated with 200kg/ha in 2014 and 2015 seasons respectively. Based on these findings, farmers are advice to domesticate and cultivate Gongronema latifolium with the application of 200kg/ha NPK 15:15:15 fertilizer for optimum growth and leaf yield.

A simple and efficient chemical method has been attempted for the synthesis of biologically and commercially important 2-aryl [-s-] triazino [1], [3], [5] thiazolo [6], [5-b] quinoxalin -4- thiones in moderate to excellent yields through cyclization reaction of o-phenylenediamino using readily available and fewer costly reagents viz. oxalic acid, PCl5thiourea, aromatic aldehydes and ammonium thiocyanate at an ambient temperature.

Angel man Syndrome 天使男综合症

Angel man syndrome is a rare genetic and neurological disorder which is characterized by severe developmental delays and learning disabilities. Although, those diagnosed with the syndrome may be unable to speak, but many gradually learn to communicate through other means such as sign language. Additional symptoms also include seizures, sleep disorders and feeding difficulties. Some children with Angel man syndrome may have distinctive facial features, but mainly facial features reflect the normal parental traits. Angel man syndrome is caused by deletion or abnormal expression of the UBE3A gene.

Effect of compost and gypsum on rice crop production in saline soil 盐碱地堆肥和石膏对水稻生产的影响

The rice crop is the most important and widely used crop worldwide, 40% of the population is dependent on rice for getting calories. This study was designed by keeping in view the importance of reclamation of saline soil and for checking the effect of compost on saline soil along with gypsum. The impact of saline soil on rice crop along with gypsum and addition of compost was checked. The trials were planned at jhang district of Punjab. The covered area of one acre for each trial. The control treatment was only contain 60 bags of gypsum provided to rice crop in one acre area. The experimental treatments included the different amounts of compost and gypsum and their mixture was applied. It was concluded from this study that best yield was given by the trial having equal amount of gypsum and compost. The saline conditions effect the crop at initial stage, but with the combination of gypsum and compost the good yield can be obtained.

Nano pore Sequencing Technology: A Review 纳米孔测序技术综述

DNA strand nucleotide order is determined by using Nano pore sequencing method can this method is under development since 1995. Many porous membranes proteins and used as Nano pores,  Each nucleotide base is pass through this small hole of almost 1 nanometer and the peak is recorded in the form of chromatograph. This method is considered more accurate than gel electrophoresis because the chances of sample damage are low and more authentications of sequences were previously reported. Now a day’s manual methods are replaced by automated methods for less time consumption and more accurate results.

Soft structures of groups and rings 群和环的软结构

Concept of soft equivalence relations (classes, mappings) are introduced using the notion of soft elements. Then we redefine the notion of soft group and soft ring in a new way by using the idea of soft elements and it is seen that our definitions of soft group and soft ring are equivalent to the existing notions of soft group [2] and soft ring [1]. The notion of soft coset is presented and validated by suitable examples. We investigate some important properties like soft divisor of zero, characteristic of a soft ring etc. by considering examples. Moreover, some necessary and sufficient conditions are established for a soft ring to be a soft integral domain and soft field.
利用软元素的概念引入了软等价关系(类、映射)的概念。然后利用软元素的思想对软群和软环的概念进行了新的重新定义,可以看出,我们对软群和软环的定义与已有的软群[2]和软环[1]的概念是等价的。提出了软共集的概念,并通过实例进行了验证。通过实例研究了软零除数、软环的特性等重要性质。此外,还建立了软环是软积分域和软场的充分必要条件。
