Nano zinc ferrite/polyurethane foam composite materials for Cd2+ and Cu2+ ions removal from aqueous solution 纳米铁酸锌/聚氨酯泡沫复合材料去除水溶液中的Cd2+和Cu2+离子

: Zinc ferrite Polyurethane foam composite materials were formed by adding 0.33wt% ZnFe 2 O 4 nanoparticles into polyurethane foam (PUF) during the preparation process. ZnFe 2 O 4 /PUF composite materials have successfully been utilized as a new solid phase extraction (SPE) sorbent for the separation of cadmium and copper ions in various water samples. The XRD results revealed that only the spinel structure of ZnFe 2 O 4 was formed, with an average crystallite size of 24nm. The ferromagnetic behaviour of ZnFe 2 O 4 nanoparticles was observed, with magnetization of 4.179emu/g and coercivity of 267.11G. The microstructure of the prepared composite materials observed the spongy structure and higher porosity. The aqueous solution and real water (from Fayoum city, Egypt) were used for studying the effects of pH, sorbent dose, and shaking time of the composite materials on the Cd 2+ and Cu 2+ ions removal. The batch procedure shows the maximum extraction percentage of Cd 2+ and Cu 2+ ions were 95.8% and 96.5% at the optimal conditions.

Economic performance indicators for the greenhouses Fayoum Governorate 法尤姆省温室经济绩效指标

Farm management has a special importance in the agricultural sector and specifically within the cultivation of vegetables, whether in traditional or protected cultivation. The aim of the research was to measure the economic efficiency of the agricultural greenhouses within the Fayoum Governorate, through a comprehensive survey of the productive greenhouses of farmers within the Governorate. The study also adopted the use of measures and indicators of economic efficiency in addition to the main financial and non-financial performance measures )KPI(. The Results indicated that some management patterns are superior to others in agricultural performance, as although the production approach with individual management represents the largest market share in terms of production. However, it is the least performing and efficient compared to other management patterns. While, the results indicate that the greenhouses that are subject to corporate management are the highest in various performance indicators. Whether financial or non-financial, due to the better farm management. Therefore, focus must be placed on raising the level of Performance and efficiency of greenhouses to raise levels of profitability and productivity within the protected plantations in the Governorate.

Developing a scale for value orientations of rural youth in Fayoum Governorate 制定法尤姆省农村青年价值取向的量表

The current study aims to build a quantitative scale for the value orientations of rural youth in Fayoum Governorate, so that it has acceptable indications of reliability and validity. The data necessary to standardize the scale has been collected From 200 respondents out of the total number of rural youth in the selected villages )Sinover, Ibjig, and Talat( in the Fayoum Center, They were selected in a systematic random manner distributed over the three study villages, The data of the scale were completed by conducting personal interviews with the respondents using a questionnaire form, It included the statements related to the proposed scale. The results of standardizing the scale showed that it has a high degree of reliability and validity, where the value of the reliability coefficient using three different statistical methods: the half-segmentation method using the Spearman-Brown equation, the Guttmann equations, and the internal consistency by Cranach's method, were 0.765, 0.778, and 0.797, respectively. In addition to the above, the results showed a high level of validity of the scale formation, Where the value of the correlation coefficient between the level of the value orientation of the respondents using the proposed scale, And one of the variables that is theoretically assumed to be morally related to the value orientation )which is the educational level( is about 0.87, It is a statistically significant value at the 0.01 probability level, which indicates a high level of validity of the formation of the proposed measure of value orientations.

Management patterns, skills and functions are among the most important management activities that affect the economic aspect of the farm that must be performed as well as possible. This is clearly shown in the cultivation of delicate and sensitive crops such as vegetable crops. The research aimed to measure the level of performance of different management patterns of skills and functions. The research used the comprehensive survey of protected vegetable growers within the scope of the study, where the research relied on two methods of statistical measurement, the most important of which is ANOVA analysis and the integrated structural equations model )AMOS(. The results indicated that there were statistically significant differences in the level of profitability of protected vegetable farmers as a result of the performance of different Management patterns of skills and management functions at varying levels. Therefore, the research recommends the necessity of improving the performance level of farmers within the different management patterns of skills and management functions within the protected vegetable cultivation in the Governorate.

Effect of different sources of zinc in ovo injection on hatching traits, growth and some physiological parameters of broiler chicks 蛋注射中不同锌源对肉仔鸡孵化特性、生长及一些生理参数的影响

: A total of 546 fertile eggs were divided randomly to 7 treatments in three replicates, 26 eggs in each, as follows: The 1 st treatment served as a control (without injection), the 2 nd , 3 rd and 4 th treatments were injected with 0.1 ml deionized water containing 25, 50 and 75 μg/egg zinc sulfate, respectively and treatments 5 th , 6 th and 7 th injected with 0.1 ml deionized water containing 25, 50 and 75 μg/egg ZnO-NPs, respectively. Eggs injection was performed at the 9 th day of incubation. The results could be summarized as follow: The treatments did not cause any significant differences in the hatchability %, embryonic mortality, chick weight, chick weigh %, the relative weight of residual yolk sac, heart, liver,gizzard and proventriculus to body weight (BW) or yolk free body weight of chicks at one day of age , slaughter parameters ( percent of carcass, breast, thighs, abdominal fat, liver, heart and gizzard) at 35 days of age or hematological parameters and plasma constituents at one and 35 days of age compared to the control . Significant differences were found in body weight (BW) at 21 and 35 days of age, and the highest value was recorded of the group 75 µg/egg zinc sulfate followed by 25 µg/egg ZnO-NPs inovoinjection. It is concluded that using of 75 μg/egg zinc sulfate or 25 μg/egg ZnO-NPs in ovo injection at 9 days of incubation, could be recommended to , enhance the growth performance traits without harmful effects on the physiological responses.

: This research aimed to identify the knowledge level of the respondents with the technical recommendations related to the basics of fish farming before and after attending the training program, in addition to measuring the impact of the training program and also identifying the opinions of the respondents in the training program according to some criteria of training effectiveness, in addition to identifying the evaluation of the training program from The respondents’ point of view, and the respondents’ most important suggestions in order to increase the effectiveness of future training programs. The data was collected using a personal interview questionnaire through a form that was completed by the trainees before and after their exposure to the studied training programme. They are in the Maghra and West West Minya regions of the New Egyptian Rural Development Company. They are 37 respondents during the training program. In presenting the results and analyzing the data, frequencies, percentages, arithmetic mean, standard deviation, paired T test were used to measure the differences between before and after the program, and Cohen’s equation, and that To know the impact of the training program, The most important results were: that about 74.1% of the respondents had a medium level of knowledge of the technical recommendations related to the basics of fish farming before implementing the program, while 100% of the respondents had a high level of knowledge of the recommendations of fish farming after implementing the program. The training program was ranked in descending order as follows: water quality in fish farming with a medium degree of 2.89, feeding fish and diets with a medium degree of 2.81, incubation of fish fry with a medium degree of 2.75, and the results also indicate a high rate of the training program on the cognitive level of the respondents, where its value reached About 2.21 by applying Cohen's dee equation, The results also indicated that

The data was collected using a personal interview questionnaire through a form that was completed by the trainees before and after their exposure to the studied training programme. They are in the Maghra and West West Minya regions of the New Egyptian Rural Development Company. They are 37 respondents during the training program. In presenting the results and analyzing the data, frequencies, percentages, arithmetic mean, standard deviation, paired T test were used to measure the differences between before and after the program, and Cohen’s equation, and that To know the impact of the training program, The most important results were: that about 74.1% of the respondents had a medium level of knowledge of the technical recommendations related to the basics of fish farming before implementing the program, while 100% of the respondents had a high level of knowledge of the recommendations of fish farming after implementing the program. Small-scale Farmers’ Information Needs and Obstacles: Evidence from the Volta Region, Ghana 小农的信息需求与障碍:来自加纳Volta地区的证据

: Agricultural information is assuming increasing importance in the face of current biotic and abiotic stresses, coupled with changing dynamics of agricultural practice globally. This paper contributes to the discourse by examining information needs and obstacles of small-scale farmers in the Volta Region, Ghana. Structured questionnaires were used to collect primary data from six hundred and thirty (630) small-scale farmers, selected through multistage sampling technique. The study showed that information on marketing, post-harvest techniques, and diseases and pests management were the critical information needs of small-scale farmers in the Region. The study further established that majority of small-scale farmers were aware of information sources in the Region with the major information sources consulted by farmers in order of preference being family members, friends, radio, television and extension agents. A chi-square analysis showed that educational level of farmers was not significant at ρ ≤ 0.05 and therefore did not affect farmers’ information needs. Besides, the study showed that the major obstacles facing small-scale farmers were lack of skills to access information, inadequate information resources, insufficient agricultural extension agents, and absence of Agricultural Information Centres. These findings will certainly shape agricultural extension program planning in the Region and inform national extension policy.

Economics of white cheese production in Fayoum Governorate 法尤姆省白奶酪生产的经济学

: The research aims to study the current situation of the dairy industry in Egypt and to estimate the economic efficiency indicators, production patterns and costs of the cotton cheese production plants. The overall trend of the current dairy situation indicators was estimated to show both morale )amount of production, amount of consumption, size of surplus/food gap, total value of production and net agricultural income of dairy and dairy products, average per capita consumption of dairy(. and immoral )self-sufficiency ratio(. The average cost of production inputs was found to represent the largest proportion of the average variable costs by about 78.83% of the average production cost, and total revenue per ton of white cheese was estimated at LE 40,843. The value of the pound spent per ton was about £0.145, and the value added per ton of cheese was estimated at £3,612. The ratio of total variable costs to total revenue was estimated at 71.1%. The sharp surplus amounted to 11,813.25 pounds, and the stimulus for the product was estimated at 13%. An estimate of the production function shows that the most influential factors for the amount of white cheese are the amount of milk and the number of workers. A correlation was found between the amount of production, the amount of milk and the number of workers in the function. Total productivity flexibility was about 1,053. The cost-benefit estimate shows the model's statistical morale, with a calculated value of F of 1164.2 and a coefficient of F of 0.987. The minimum cost volume was 22.6 tons, achieved by about 18% of the sample coefficient, the maximum profit was about 152 tons and no laboratory from the research sample reached it.

Soil quality indices for agricultural potentiality in shalateen area- Egypt- using remote sensing and GIS 基于遥感和GIS的埃及沙拉欣地区农业潜力土壤质量指标研究

Shalateen is considered one of the strategic areas for the security of Egypt from the south-eastern side which requires agricultural development. The objective of this study is to evaluate the soil quality using the integration of remote sensing and GIS. Thus, geopedological soil map was generated including the required soil characteristics. Twenty-six soil profiles were selected to represent the different mapping units. Assessment of soil quality is based on three main quality indices, chemical index (CI), physical index (PI), and fertility index (FI). The results revealed that chemical quality ranges from high to low quality, where most of the study area has a moderate quality. Physical quality varies from high to moderate, where most of the study area is classified as high quality. Fertility index in the study area fell into moderate and low classes. Finally, integration of the three indices showed that the study area is classified as a moderate soil quality. These results can be utilised to plan for the agriculture development taking into consideration the limiting factors and the potential use of the entire area.
