Design Improvement of a Spoke-Type PMSG with Ferrite Magnets to Reduce Space Harmonics 基于铁氧体磁体的辐条式永磁调速器设计改进以降低空间谐波

In this study, the harmonics of the pole arc geometry on the air gap flux density between the magnets in the wind turbine generator with spoke-type magnet mounting were examined. In the study, two designs, design A and design B, were compared. While the air gap had a constant value along the pole arc in design A, the air gap increasing from the center of the pole to the edges was taken into account in design B. The geometry, material, and mounting position of the magnet used in permanent magnet machines affect the machine's performance. Currently, magnets consisting of iron, nickel, ferrite, samarium cobalt, and neodymium-iron-boron alloy are available. Limited supply and price instability of rare earth elements require alternative product designs. In the study, two designs with different rotor structures without changing the stator structure and properties were made, and their performance was examined. Space harmonics were determined by extracting the air gap flux waveforms of the designs. In accordance with the results obtained, much lower space harmonics were obtained with design B.

Inhibitory Activity Towards Angiotensin Converting Enzyme I of Alchemilla vulgaris 丹金草对血管紧张素转换酶I的抑制活性

The study was aimed to evaluate the inhibitory activity towards angiotensin converting enzyme I (ACE-I), antioxidant capacity and phenolics of Alchemilla vulgaris (lady’s mantle) naturally grows in Turkey. Aqueous extracts of lady’s mantle were used for enzyme inhibition assay on angiotensin converting enzyme I purified from sheep lungs. Trolox equivalent antioxidant capacity (TEAC) and DPPH assays were also used for monitoring of antioxidant profile of methanolic and aqueous extracts. Total phenolics of the extracts from lady’s mantle were also analyzed. Our research results indicated that lady’s mantle could have important anti-hypertensive effects due to their potent inhibitory activity towards angiotensin converting enzyme I.

Adaptation of Gamification as a Man-Machine Interface to Franchise Management System 游戏化人机界面在特许经营管理系统中的应用

Current man-machine interfaces are far from fitting human expectations in understanding and transmission of noteworthy signs and hints that are natural ingredients of human communication. There are certain indicators and interaction possibilities that can be passed between the two sides but as a result of complex behavior and dynamic changing conditions of environments they can be lost, or at least might require long and complex processing. Gamification is used to enhance the interaction possibilities providing the visual representation of environmental conditions and critical indicators, as well as providing the ability to send and receive requests using suitable techniques for human such as touches, and finger moves on Unity environment. Franchise Management System is selected as a case study and adapted to maintain the interactions between franchiser and franchisee.

An Approach to Development of Virtual Reality Training Systems 虚拟现实培训系统的开发方法

The publication describes our approach to development of virtual reality training systems (VRTS). First, we go through the motivation for this research. Next, we give definitions of different types of virtual reality and related mediums. Then, we provide a brief classification and a comparative analysis of existing VR systems. Finally, based on our experience in creating training systems in virtual reality, we analyze and systematize the most important issues in development of such innovative applications, which includes: system requirements; expected benefits; specific development tasks; stages in development; selection of a specific virtual reality technology and development environment; a model of VRTS; logic of a training system; and analysis of outcomes and effects.

Modeling and Simulation of a Wheelchair System with Motion Control 轮椅运动控制系统的建模与仿真

This paper presents mathematical modeling and simulation results of a wheelchair system with motion control, which constitutes a crucial part of a research project on vision-based smart wheelchair control and navigation. Disabled people with neuromuscular or reflex disabilities have difficulties in operating standard electric wheelchairs properly. In addition to, driving wheelchair in outdoor has critical risks. The work will contribute greatly mobility problem of disabled people by visual information technology and efficient motion control design simulation. To reach this purpose, the mathematical model of wheelchair is constructed that shows main characteristics and dynamical behavior of system. Results of the study is observed by a designed computer simulation model. Simulation test outcomes provide developing control algorithm that well organized motor control. Computer simulation results include controlling the position and direction of wheelchair, linear displacement, velocity information and disturbance effect on driving. Consequencely, the mathematical model has the ability to show the representing autonomous wheelchair dynamics in open-loop and closed-loop and simulation outputs prove effeciency of the model and designed control system. Results of the study will be used in the research project that aims to solve the autonomous wheelchair control problem.

Human beings have always used the resources at their disposal as tools to help carry out tasks in the most effective, fast and safe way. As technology advances, these tools are being used in increasingly complex machinery capable of performing complicated jobs precisely and often better than a human could have in this paper we aim at performing a robust robot localization by reducing the 3d images into 2d images using PCA algorithm and using CNN for feature extraction and classification of the images.

Practical aspects of journal indexing in scientific databases 科学数据库中期刊索引的实践方面

These days most of the researchers use online search engines to find scientific articles they need. There are many specialized databases that are indexing scientific content and offer powerful search mechanism in these articles. On the other hand, authors and publishers are also interested of wide dissemination of their research articles and that is why they closely cooperate with these indexing organizations. In the paper are considered some popular indexing databases. We discuss their search functionality and practical aspects from authors and publishers’ point of view needed for content inclusion. Special attention is paid on the indexing mechanism of Google Scholar services.

A Framework Design for Heart Failure Detection: Analyzes on Features and Hybrid Classifiers 心力衰竭检测框架设计:特征与混合分类器分析

The detection of heart failure is a vital and complicated issue that is needed to be analyzed comprehensively. On the basis of medicine, different tests and various scan techniques are utilized to efficiently make a decision. On the basis of machine learning, two phenomena come into prominence: 1-Qalitative data, 2-Framework design to detect the necessary information among the data.In this paper, an efficient framework is proposed to reveal the heart failure on the specific data. Three optimized classifiers were compared to assign the classification unit of framework. Manuel selection and filter based-feature ranking methods were considered to determine the necessary information and to reveal the heart failure. In experiments, two-fold cross validation was utilized as the test method to force the classifiers, and seven metrics based-comparisons were realized to objectively choose the features and classifiers. Consequently, the best framework achieved remarkable scores of 86.62% (accuracy), 83.01% (AUC), 72.92% (sensitivity), 93.10% (specificity), 82.39% (g-mean), 83.33% (precision) and 77.78% (f-measure) for survival prediction on heart failure clinical records.

Manuel selection and filter based-feature ranking methods were considered to determine the necessary information and to reveal the heart failure. In experiments, two-fold cross validation was utilized as the test method to force the classifiers, and seven metrics based-comparisons were realized to objectively choose the features and classifiers. Novel Metaheuristic Optimization Algorithms for Sidelobe Suppression of Linear Antenna Array 线性天线阵旁瓣抑制的新型元启发式优化算法

In this study, the problem of sidelobe suppression in the antenna radiation patterns on which antenna designers work intensively, is discussed. For this optimization problem, analyses are carried out with the newly introduced Honey Badger Algorithm (HBA) and Chameleon Swarm Algorithm (CSA) algorithms in the literature. In addition, to test the performance of these algorithms, Artificial Bee Colony (ABC), and Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) methods, which are well known in the literature, are also used in sidelobe suppression in antenna arrays. For the statistical comparison of these four optimization methods, thirty independent runs are made, and the results are tabulated.

Spiking Activity of L5 Pyramidal Neuron: A Computational Modeling L5锥体神经元的峰值活动:一个计算模型

Spinal cord stimulation for chronic pain or deep brain stimulation for epilepsy, there are similar other techniques using micro stimulation of tissues in order to modulate neural activity for therapeutic purposes. In addition to experimental work, computational modeling is a powerful tool to obtain characteristics of either a cluster of cell bundle or a single unit by largely exploring every single parameter. This enables to predict precisely neural responses to electrical stimulation, which ultimately improves clinical outcomes. This work uses pyramidal cell with realistic morphology from fifth layer of somatosensory cortex constructed by Blue Brain project. The biophysical properties are defined by conductance based voltage gated channels. NEURON v8.0 is used to simulate intracellular stimulation. Single cell model's validation and spike activity show that axonal compartments are the most possible area to fire for step current stimulation. This work presents insights into better computational infrastructure for parameter optimization.
