The rapid growth of information and communication technology development has driven the Islamic banking and finance industry to digitalize all transactions and Islamic banking products to go fully online. However, there is a hindrance in developing Islamic digital banking which is the lack of understanding about Islamic digital banking among Malaysia community from different age and level of income. This study aims to investigate the relationship between age and level of income of Malaysian community with the level of knowledge about Islamic digital banking. This study employed a quantitative survey questionnaire of 100 respondents. The Statistical Product and Service Solutions (SPSS) software version 27 has been used in this study in analysing the data through descriptive analysis. The general finding of this study showed that the young generation and people with lower income have more intention to adopt this new application compared to the older generation and people with higher income. By analyzing these relationships, the research could help Islamic banks tailor their services and products to various demographic groups, enhancing accessibility and understanding. Additionally, the findings might inform policymaking to create a more inclusive financial system, particularly in predominantly Muslim countries. Overall, the study appears to connect the fields of demographics, technology, economics, and cultural studies, potentially providing essential insights for the development and growth of Islamic digital banking.

Studies on modern terrorism over the past 20 years have shown an increase in youth involvement in violent activities. However, the findings of these studies mostly focus on the subjects of study, either specific organizations involved or the locations of their development. This study aims to examine the views of Muslim youth in Malaysia towards terrorist ideologies, with the goal of identifying their perceptions, understanding of national identity and acceptance or rejection of these ideologies. The research uses quantitative methods for data collection and analysis, including a survey of 850 participants aged 18-40 from across Malaysia, selected through random sampling with a focus on Muslim youth. The analysis includes descriptive statistics as well as inferential methods such as ANOVA and Pearson correlation to investigate differences and relationships among survey variables. The findings indicate that the majority of participants had a neutral stance towards terrorist ideologies and rejected elements of these ideologies. However, a minority of youth expressed acceptance of these ideologies. Based on these findings, the study suggests that ongoing education efforts that promote moderate and centrist interpretations of Islam from primary to higher education in Malaysia may help to prevent the spread of radicalism among youth.

The Ahmadiyya have been labeled as a controversial religious group by the majority of Indonesians. Its inclusion as a component of religious diversity is regarded as a trumping-up divergence. This research aims to analyze the reasons for hostility toward the Ahmadiyya through a review journal, historical storytelling, and exposure to empirical facts, and to provide recommendations for reducing discord and improving relations between different religious groups. The article investigates the role of state law, religious authority, and civil society in shaping attitudes toward Ahmadiyya Muslims, as well as strategies for promoting interfaith dialogue and tolerance. Overall, the article argues that it is critical to promote mutual respect and understanding among religious communities in order to reduce conflict and promote social harmony in Indonesia.

The situation of non-Muslim students who learn Arabic language calls for the need to present specific teaching and learning methods that can help them in mastering the Arabic language. Thus, this paper will discuss several scenarios related to learning Arabic by non-Muslim students at the university level. The use of Arabic-Roman Transliteration in the learning process is emphasized in this paper as a method for Arabic for Specific Purposes (AFSP). This paper contains a study in the form of a qualitative study using a questionnaire technique with an open question format as a data collection instrument. The research data was obtained from a group of non-Muslim students studying Arabic course at Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin (UniSZA). The findings of the study show that non-Muslim’s perception towards teaching and learning Arabic language is very positive if the learning process can be implemented effectively. The use of Arabic-Rumi Transliteration is seen as one of the innovative teaching approaches that can inculcate learning motivation to non-Muslim students in learning Arabic language.

Teachers frequently employ testing techniques as an assessment tool. However, in October 2018, the Minister of Education stopped the evaluation using this testing technique. When parents questioned the impartiality of instructors in evaluating their children’s accomplishments, the outcomes of the removing the examination caused negative response. Additionally, they lack clarity and comprehension of the teacher’s methodologies and procedures for evaluation. This article produced to understand the Classroom Assessment Method (PBD) and how it affects level one students studying Islamic Education. The philosophy behind this study is interpretive, while the study strategy is case studies. The study also adapted qualitative design with data collection methods using a combination of document content analysis techniques and semi-structured question interviews. The content analysis approach was used in the data analysis. Thematic methods are used in this study to categorise the results. There are three methods used by teachers in assessing level one students – 1) observation 2) writing and 3) oral methods. However, the assessment using these three methods in determining the level of mastery (TP) of the pupils is very subjective. Thus, two effectswas identified on the application of PBD, namely, the reduced burden of teachers’ duties related to the examination and the occurrence of teacher injustices in the PBD process. In this context, the report recommends that the Ministry of Education’s (MOE) PBD system undergo revisions to ensure that level one students get assessed equitably. Teachers should also employ the scoring rubric while implementing the three established PBD assessment techniques. After further research on other topics, it is also appropriate to revaluate the PBD approach. In addition, the scoring rubric should be used by teachers in the implementation of PBD assessment using three predefined methods.

Menstrual poverty is a current topic that is being discussed in both the print and electronic media. Menstrual poverty is a translation of the word "period poverty," which refers to difficulties in managing menstruation caused by a variety of reasons. Financial restrictions to purchase menstrual products, lack of information about menstruation, lack of infrastructure to manage menstrual waste, and a lack of privacy space to manage menstruation with dignity are among them. Menstruation management is a critical topic since it concerns a Muslim's personal cleanliness and worship. The purpose of this essay is to discover the real concept of menstruation poverty from an Islamic perspective by reviewing the perspectives of authoritative scholars. This article relates to the writings of experts in the subject of Islamic jurisprudence, both past and current, that are based on syar'i arguments derived from al-Quran and al-Sunnah texts. This study also employed the interview method to obtain data on menstruation poverty from an Islamic perspective. The Islamic definition of menstrual poverty has proven successful, based on the interpretation of the Quran and Hadith. According to the Islamic perspective, menstrual poverty refers to women who face challenges in meeting their need to clean oneself due to a lack of understanding about menstruation in syariah compliance, financial resources and having difficulty managing menstruation with dignity

Smart Contract is one of the new technological developments related to the Industrial Revolution 4.0 which emphasizes on the execution of contracts between two parties automatically based on the terms and conditions that have been agreed before. This concept minimizes the role of intermediaries that exist in traditionally executed contracts thus leading to positive effects such as cost reduction, saving time and money, less cases of fraud, manipulation and so on. Looking at the philosophy of smart contracts, it is in line with the Maqasid / Objectives of Syariah. However, the nature of this concept which relies on automation which means lack of human intervention in executing the content of the contract raises questions about shariah compliancy in the operationalization of this system especially regarding the function and eligibility of the computer system as a contracting parties rather that human, as well as what is fiqh adaptation for such concept, in addition to what is parameters and dawābit that is required to ensure that each product based on smart contracts is Shariah compliant in terms of its content, shariah monitoring process once the contract is executed, and other related issues. This study is based on a full library research where the concept of smart contracts is analyzed based on the framework of Shariah law in Muamalat, in addition to the latest technological developments related to it. The results of the study found that smart contract is an acceptable concept in Islam, but it needs some guidance and improvement to ensure it really coincides with the parameters required by Shariah, namely full compliance with the pillars and conditions of the contract, must also be in line with Maqasid al-Shariah and current applicable law, the existence of elements of compassion, consideration, tolerance/Tasāmuh and others.

It is not an easy thing to be able to draw a line of understanding between the social situation that gave birth to the hadith and the life of the people when they want to apply the hadith. It is not enough just to understand the hadith as it is written in the text. It is also not possible to add the text of the hadith because the Prophet as the only source on which the hadith can be relied upon has died. Even more wrong, if you throw away the text of the hadith because it is considered not in accordance with the times. This article aims to complete the lack of existing literature, especially regarding efforts to understand hadith through a historical approach in the modern era. The methodology used in this research is qualitative, through literature and field studies. Beginning with a literature study, then reading about the social situation and cultural background prevailing in the community. Two hadith themes, through two channels of transmission were chosen as research samples, namely the hadith narrated by Abu Dawud number 570, about the virtue of praying a woman in her room and the hadith narrated by al-Nasa’i number 1773, about the command to read more prayers. The contextual side of hadith information has a temporal historical nature that requires adjustment to the conditions of society in every era. Contextual understanding of hadith is not something new, let alone taboo. Because the Prophet and his companions have used a contextual method in understanding the verses of the Qur'an and also the hadith. Hadith spirituality in the form of understanding and its application is carried out by continuing to read hadith texts and then contextually studied through various scientific approaches including historical approaches

Malaysia is a country of various races and religions under the same supreme law, the Federal Constitution. Even so, the Federal Constitution has set out several provisions that give privileges to the Malays and Muslims. Article 11 provides for the right to freedom of religion for every citizen, but this right is not absolute for Muslims as it restricts the spread of non -Muslim religions among Muslims. This clearly shows that the right to freedom of religion in the Federal Constitution is in line with the principles of Maqasid Al-Syariah, which is to preserve religion. Thus, the objective of this study is to analyze the extent to which the provision of the right to freedom of religion in the Federal Constitution meets the principles of Maqasid Al-Syariah. This study is a qualitative study that uses the library method followed by content analysis. The findings of this study have proven that there is a relationship between Maqasid Al-Syariah and the right to freedom of religion in the Federal Constitution thereby enhance the community's understanding of the interpretation of the right to freedom of religion and its relationship with Maqasid Al-Syariah.
