Analysis of students' environmental literacy at senior high school 10 palembang on environmental pollution material 巴伦邦第 10 高中学生环境素养对环境污染材料的影响分析

The global concern for environmental issues is widely discussed worldwide. Environmental literacy, encompassing concerns for the environment, is crucial to prevent human-induced environmental damage. Education plays a pivotal role in enhancing this literacy. This research aims to describe the environmental literacy abilities of students at Senior High School 10 Palembang, namely a school that is environmentally conscious regarding environmental pollution material. The research method is descriptive research and survey techniques. The research sample was 36 students of class XI Science. The sample used a purposive sampling technique. The research instrument includes 31 multiple-choice questions for knowledge and cognitive skills and 37 questionnaire statements for behavioral and affective indicators. Data analysis was carried out by calculating the average achievement of indicator students' environmental literacy scores in the form of percentages. Analysis revealed an overall environmental literacy percentage of 49.06% in the quite good category. However, specific indicators, notably knowledge (39.44%) and cognitive skills (29.52%) poor category. Behavioral indicators (60.94%) were quite a good category, and affective indicators stood (66.33%) good category, indicating room for improvement, especially in knowledge and cognitive skills. Teachers could enhance environmental literacy by employing innovative strategies, particularly in biology classes discussing environmental pollution.

The effect of using electronic practicum worksheets on students' understanding of digital literacy 使用电子实习工作表对学生理解数字素养的影响

This research aims to determine the effect of implementing the Electronic Practicum Worksheet with Google Sites on the Digital Literacy Abilities of Class X High School Students in Palembang City on Virus Material. This research was carried out at Senior High School in Palembang. This research method is quasi-experimental with a non-equivalent control group design. Sampling in this study used a purposive sampling technique so that class X.IPA.6 was selected as the experimental class and X.IPA.10 as the control class. Instrument analysis in this research used the IBM SPSS Statistics 25 for Windows program and the Microsoft Excel application. The instrument used in this research was multiple choice questions on a digital literacy test. The research results show that the implementation of an Electronic Practicum Worksheet with Google Site has a significant effect on students' digital literacy test results. Apart from that, the implementation of electronic practice worksheets with Google Site can improve students' digital literacy skills.

Health benefits of aqueous and ethanolic extracts of medinilla speciosa blume 水提取物和乙醇提取物对健康的益处

Medinilla speciosa (local name: parijoto) has many pharmacological benefits, including for treating female infertility. This study aimed to identify bioactive compounds of the aqueous and ethanolic extracts of Medinilla speciosa; to find information on their pharmacological benefits, and to do its docking profile with the protein phosphatase1, which is associated with the enhancement of female fertility. Articles were searched from PubMed. The components of Medinilla speciosa were analyzed with LC-MS/MS. In silico study was conducted based  PubChem, Protein Data Base, and Swiss ADME. Pyrx 0.8 and Discovery Studio Visualizer v21.1 were used to predict the interaction. Four flavonoids were identified, namely fisetin, robinetin, luteolin, and kaempferol. Except for robinetin, they exist in glycosidic form. One polyphenol, ellagic acid, was also identified. Literature studies showed they have various pharmacological benefits, such as antioxidants, anti-inflammation, anticancer, antidiabetes, organ protection, and antimicrobial. However, no information is available on its potential for fertility enhancement. Docking analysis showed that the bioactive compounds interact with the A and C chains of the catalytic domain of protein phosphatase 1 (PP1). Aqueous and ethanolic extracts of Medinilla speciosa possess fisetin, robinetin, luteolin, kaempferol, and ellagic acid that bind to catalytic chains of protein phosphatase 1.

Analysis of high school students’ self-confidance in biology learning 高中生生物学习的自信心分析

Self-confidence is one of the important aspects that every individual must possess in life. This research aims to analyze the self-confidence of students in biology learning at High School. This research uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive method. The population in this study were X MIPA class students of SMA  3 Polewali in West Sulawesi with a sample of 116 students. The research instrument used in this study is a non-test instrument, namely a self-confidence questionnaire. This instrument is based on four indicators of students' self-confidence in learning biology: believing in one's abilities, making independent decisions, having a positive self-concept, and being willing to express opinions. The findings obtained from this study indicate a percentage of 65.0% or state that the majority of students at SMA 3 Polewali in West Sulawesi have self-confidence. Students' confidence has the potential to increase motivation and student learning outcomes in biology learning by integrating innovative learning strategies, allowing most students to participate in biology teaching and learning activities effectively and optimally, thus achieving educational objectives.

Critical thinking skills of high school students material invertebrates trought guided inquiry assitend mind mapping 高中生无脊椎动物材料的批判性思维能力,通过引导式探究协助思维导图培养

The inquiry learning model can help students learn independently in solving problems and providing solutions. The study aims to identify improvements in students' critical thinking skills on invertebrate material through guided inquiry-assisted mind mapping. The type of research used is pre-experimental research with a one-group pretest-postest design. The population in this study was an entire MIA X class, consisting of 16 samples. The test instrument is used as a double-selection test (PG) with 20 reasonable questions about invertebrate material. Sampling is done using probability sampling with saturated sampling. Guided inquiry learning activities assisted by mind mapping are carried out in six stages. 1) presenting questions or problems; 2) making hypotheses; 3) designing experiments; 4) conducting experiments to obtain information; 5) collecting and analyzing data; 6) drawing conclusions. The results of this study show that any critical thinking skill indicator, i.e., focusing questions, analyzing arguments, asking or answering a question, investigating and/or considering observation reports, considering credible sources, taking into account valuable opinions, making and/or considering inductions, identifying assumptions, identifying terms and/or considering definitions, and determining an action, produces a significance of 0.000 < of 0.05, which means there is an influence of the learning model on critical thinking skills.

Dayak limbai tribe: Plants for the ritual of bathing babies in the river (mupok) 达雅克林拜部落:在河里给婴儿洗澡的植物(mupok)

The Dayak Limbai tribe is a Dayak sub-tribe in Melawi Regency, West Kalimantan Province. The Dayak Limbai tribe uses plants for the mupok traditional ritual ceremony. However, the Dayak Limbai Tribe has no written documentation and is not in scientific literature. This research aims to obtain plant species, plant parts used, how to utilize them, and the meaning of plants used in the traditional ritual ceremony of mupok. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative method using a survey technique. The data collection tool used is an interview sheet. Data analysis used by researchers is descriptive qualitative. The results of this study were 15 plant species in 12 families that were used as ritual plants in the mupok traditional ceremony in the Dayak Limbai tribe. The plant parts used are stems, leaves, fruits, and seeds. Plants are seven ritual plants and one chicken tied together, which will later be moved towards sunrise and sunset. Plants moving toward sunrise have as many as four ritual plants, while plants moving toward sunset have as many as three.

The results of this study were 15 plant species in 12 families that were used as ritual plants in the mupok traditional ceremony in the Dayak Limbai tribe. The plant parts used are stems, leaves, fruits, and seeds. Plants are seven ritual plants and one chicken tied together, which will later be moved towards sunrise and sunset. Health is one of the human rights the state must guarantee to every individual in developing human resources. Implementation of clean and healthy behavior is intended so that each individual has the understanding and skills to maintain health and prevent disease and an active role in society in the health aspect. The importance of awareness regarding clean and healthy behavior can be instilled since children occupy the elementary school level, considering that education units have an essential role in promoting health efforts. The purpose of this study was to find out the profile of clean and healthy behavior of students at Teluk Pakedai 08 Public Elementary School. This research is a survey research using a questionnaire as a data collection technique. The population in this study were students in grades IV, V, and VI, totaling 84 people. Data were analyzed using the percentage formula, and then categorized into three categories which include good, sufficient, and poor. The overall results of this research show that the clean and healthy behavior of students at Teluk Pakedai 08 Public Elementary School is classified as good.

The increasingly rapid development of technology causes students to be more interested in using digital-based teaching media. one of which is Android-based E-modules.  This study aims to examine the effect of using an Android-based E-module on student learning outcomes in class X virus material SMA Negeri 2 Barru. The examination technique utilized was semi-trial utilizing a non-identical benchmark group plan. The example in this review added up to 60 understudies and was separated into two gatherings. in particular the exploratory class and the control class. utilizing a purposive testing procedure. The instrument utilized is a trial of learning results and documentation. The information examination strategy utilized is expressive measurable investigation and inferential factual examination. Student participation and cognitive learning outcomes in biology learning through the discovery learning approach 通过发现学习法学习生物,学生的参与和认知学习成果

Judging from the low learning outcomes of students and student participation during the learning process, this study aims to determine the effectiveness of the application of the discovery learning model to cognitive learning outcomes and student participation during the learning process of grade X SMA Ppm Al-Ikhlash on environmental change material. This type of research is a Pre-Experimental Design with a One-Shot Case Study research design. The population in this study was all grade X students of SMA Ppm Al-Ikhlash. The sample of this study was selected by a simple random sampling technique. The data collection technique used is in the form of a test in the form of an essay of 10 questions and observation sheets of student participation. The collected data were analyzed statistically descriptively using SPSS 24 (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences). The results of the statistical test showed the average post-test score in class X Mipa 1 which was 86.59. The percentage of student learning outcomes is 77.8% which is classified as very good and 22.2% which is classified as good. The average participation of students during the learning process in class is 62% in the active category. The conclusion of this study is the application of the discovery learning model effectively to cognitive learning outcomes and learning participation of grade X students of SMA Ppm Al-Ikhlas on environmental change material.

Inoculant arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi compatibility test using sweet corn plants on peatlands 利用泥炭地上的甜玉米植物进行接种剂树胶菌根真菌兼容性测试

Corn is a food ingredient that is widely consumed by Indonesian people. The purpose of this study is to determine the compatibility of AMF isolates from several host plants with the yield components of sweet corn on peatlands.  The field experiments were carried out with a randomized block design (RCBD) with 5 treatments and 3 replications. The treatments referred to are m0 (without AMF inoculation), m1 (AMF inoculum from the host Pueraria Javanica), m2 (AMF inoculum from the soybean plant host), m3 (AMF inoculum from the corn plant host) and m4 (AMF inoculum from the sorghum plant host). Observations were made on mycorrhizal infections, absorption of N, P, K nutrients, and plant yield components including weight per ear with weight, weight per ear without husk, ear length, ear diameter, and ear weight per plot. The data acquired from the observation were statistically analyzed using analysis of variance (F test), while further tests were done with Duncan's multiple distance test (DMRT). The results showed that AMF inoculant derived from maize rhizosphere is most compatible with corn plants compared to AMF inoculant from rhizosphere sorghum, P.javanica, soybeans, and without inoculation. AMF inoculant from maize rhizosphere can increase root infection, absorption.
